  • The purpose of this study was to confirm the mental health and quality of life by type-D personality of the patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). The participants in the study were 111 hospitalized patients with CAD at a hospital in Gyeonggi-do. The type-D personality was assessed by the Type-D Personality Scale (DS14). The mental health was measured with Symptom Checklist-90-Revision (SCL-90R) while quality of life was assessed with World Health Quality of Life Assessment Instrument (WHOQOL-BREF). The data analysis revealed that 36.1% of CAD patients were identified as having type-D personality traits. Non type-D personality patients have shown better mental health state than type-D personality patients (p<.001) have. The level of quality of life in the type D personality patients were significantly lower than that of non type-D counterparts (p<.001). It is necessary for type-D personality to be considered, when the nursing intervention programs for improving the mental health and quality of life of the patients with CAD are developed.

  • This study aimed to investigate the difference in response to reading as shown in book reports by personality type and interest type. For this purpose, personality type analysis data, interest type analysis data, and book report data written in subject reading activities were collected from 81 third graders at D Science High School in Daejeon. Topic analysis was conducted on the collected book reports, and the probability of a topic being mentioned was statistically tested according to personality type (thinking type, feeling type) and interest type (investigative type, types other than investigative). Subsequently, the conceptual connection structure of words was measured by keyword network analysis, and the analysis results of topic modeling were complemented by the centrality index. As a result of the study, the topic regression analysis showed statistically significant differences between thinking type (T) and feeling type (F) in topic 2 (understanding and studying) and topic 3 (reading and thinking), and statistically significant differences between investigative type and non-investigative type in topic 2 (understanding and studying). The results of this study can be used as a basis for tailored book recommendations and personalized reading education.

  • Purpose: This study examined the relationships among type D personality, self-efficacy, health promoting behaviors and mediating effects, as well as type D personality and health promoting behaviors of college students. Methods: From 10 May to 24 May 2013, a convenience sample of 223 subjects was recruited from a college in G city. Data analysis consisted of Pearson's correlation coefficient, followed by regression analysis. Results: The prevalence of type D personality was 21.4%. Type D individuals showed lower self-efficacy and interpersonal relationships than non-type D individuals. Type D personality (NA*SI) had signigicant negative correlations with self-efficacy and HPLP-II. Self-efficacy fully mediated the relationship between type D personality(NA*SI) and HPLP-II. Conclusion: One reason why type D individuals have maladaptive health behaviors is low self-efficacy.

  • This study was a descriptive research to investigate the effects of resilience and personality types on the major satisfaction of nursing students. The participants of this study were nursing students who were attending two universities in D city. Data collection was conducted from September 8 to October 6, 2020. The SPSS/WIN 26.0 program was used for data analysis. Frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, Pearson's correlation, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression were used for analysis. The results of this study showed that the average recovery elasticity of nursing students was 3.50 points (5 points), personality type was 2.28 points (4 points), and major satisfaction was 3.12 points (5 points). Personality type A was found in 122 people and personality type B in 136 people. It was found that there was a positive correlation between resilience and major satisfaction, which indicates that the higher the resilience, the higher the major satisfaction. The major satisfaction of nursing students was found to be a significant factor influencing college life satisfaction and human relationships in personality type A, showing 46.2% explanatory power. In personality type B, it was found to be a significant influencing factor in grade and human relationships, showing 42.5% explanatory power. From the above study results, it can be inferred that the development of a college application program that can improve human relationships and increase resilience in college life is required to inspire major satisfaction.

  • In the main current 3D animations which are put on the screens, the characters in the animations have a directly effect on the audiences by being closely connected with their descriptive constructions. In this research i am going to recognize the importance of characters and trace the points of sameness in the characters that appear in the 3D animations by analysing them. For this, 1 divided the characters that made lots of box-office profits all over the world and were made at Pixar which focused on characters and stories into 7 types according to written by Vladimir Propp and grasped the characters with MBTI system. 1 found out the points of sameness between the characters with this system. That will be able to be made use of referring the streams of stories and fixing the characters at the planning and producing stages. If we should make a study of figures, expressions, motions of the characters in connection with this research, it could help us to create the characters which are suitable for animations not only formative elements but also acting.
