Cyclic Moment 및 변형 Cumulant를 기반으로 한 아날로그 및 디지털 변조신호 자동변조인식 알고리즘 (Automatic Modulation Recognition Algorithm Based on Cyclic Moment and New Modified Cumulant for Analog and Digital Modulated Signals)

  • 본 논문에서는 cyclic moment 및 새로운 인자인 변형 cumulant를 기반으로 하여 아날로그 및 디지털 신호의 변조방식을 인식하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 각 변조신호들은 cyclic moment 차수에 따라 서로 다른 cycle frequency 특성을 가진다. 이러한 특성을 분류인자로 하여 다양한 변조신호를 효과적으로 분류해 낼 수 있다. 또한 cycle frequency 특성이 같은 변조신호들 간의 분리를 위해서 진폭 및 위상 변화와 변형 cumulant를 decision tree의 분류인자로 사용하였다. 심볼 수, SNR, 주파수 옵셋을 고려하여 알고리즘 성능검증을 수행하였다. 약 819개의 심볼이 수집되었을 경우, 제안하는 자동변조인식 알고리즘은 SNR 10dB 이상, 주파수 옵셋 25% 이하 조건에서 평균 95% 이상의 정확도를 나타내었다.

  • Limit cycle analysis of attitude control system using gas jet thrusters is performed. Schmitt-Trigger and PD control laws are applied and solenoid valve time delay is considered. Phase plane method is used for calculation of characteristics of limit cycle. Important characteristics of resultant limit cycle such as frequency, amplitude, maximum rate, and duty ratio could be expressed analytically by proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 이기종 시스템에서 간섭 송신기 신호의 duty cycle에 따른 전체 성능의 결과를 분석하였다. 기준치 설정에 대한 분석은 이기종 시스템들이 동일 주파수 대역을 공유하는 경우의 상호 공존을 위한 파라미터로 수행되었다. 두 시스템간의 duty cycle과 성능 관계를 분석하기 위해 간섭 송신기가 WLAN이고 WiBro가 희생 수신기인 경우를 고려하였다. 분석된 상호 공존 결과는 향후 동일 주파수 환경에서 다양한 통신 프로토콜을 이용하는 무선기기에 대한 상호 공존 조건을 마련하는 기술개발에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다이나믹 주파수 스케일링 (DFS) 카운터를 사용하여 코오스, 파인 조정 기능을 갖는 CMOS 듀티 사이클 보정회로를 제시한다. DFS 카운터는 디지털-아날로그 컨버터의 비트 스위칭 글리치를 감소시키기 때문에 제안하는 CMOS 듀티 사이클 보정회로의 듀티 보정 범위를 증가시키고 지터 특성을 개선한다. 제안하는 회로는 0.18-${\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계되었다. 0.5-1.5GHz의 넓은 동작 주파수와 25-75%의 넓은 듀티 사이클 보정 범위 내에서 측정된 최대 출력 듀티 사이클 에러는 ${\pm}1.1%$이다.

새로운 구조의 프로그램어블 주파수 분주기를 사용한 주파수 합성기 설계 (Design of Frequency Synthesizer using Novel Architecture Programmable frequency Divider)

  • 본 논문에서는 50%의 duty cycle 출력을 가지며, 디지털 방식으로 분주수를 제어할 수 있는 새로운 분주기 구조를 제안하였다. 그리고 0.25$\mu\textrm{m}$ 2-poly, 5-metal CMOS 공정 파라미터를 이용한 HSPICE 모의실험을 통해서 제안한 주파수 분주기를 이용한 900MHz 주파수 합성기를 설계하였다. 제안한 주파수 분주기의 동작은 0.657m 2-poly, 2-metal CMOS 공정을 사용하여 제작한 칩을 측정하여 확인하였다. 설계한 전압제어발진기(VCO)는 2.5V 전원전압 하에서 900Mh의 충간주파수, $\pm$10%의 동작 범위, 154MHz/V의 이득을 가진다. 또한 모의실험 결과 주파수 합성기의 settling time은 약 $1.5\mu\textrm{m}$이고 짝수와 홀수 분주시 50%의 duty cycle과 820MHz~1GHz의 동작 주파수 범위를 갖으며, 전력소모는 대략 70mW 임을 확인하였다.

  • A very fast algorithm, using fast Haar transformation with half a cycle dc-offset free data, to extract the power frequency components and to detect faults in power systems is proposed. For the speed-up, two important techniques are used. First, according to the symmetric characteristics of sine and cosine functions, fundamental frequency components are calculated with only half a cycle sample data. For using these characteristics, post-fault de-offset components must be removed beforehand. Therefore, secondly, a newly designed digital filter is used to remove exponentially decaying dc-offset from the post-fault signal. In accordance with series simulations, transmission line faults can be detected in around half a cycle after faults.

  • This work investigated the effect of duty cycle and pulse frequency on the microstructures and properties of titanium nitride thin films deposited by asymmetric bipolar pulsed DC sputtering system. Oscilloscope traces of the I-V waveforms indicate high power and high current density outputs during the asymmetric bipolar pulsed mode. The grain size decreases with decreasing duty cycle. The duty cycle has a strong influence not only on the microstructural properties but also on the mechanical properties of titanium nitride films. Comparing with the continuous DC sputtering, the titanium nitride films prepared by pulsed DC asymmetric bipolar process exhibit better properties.

Experimental and Theoretical Studies on the Dynamic Characteristics During Speed Down of Inverter Heat Pump

  • A series of tests were performed to verify the transient characteristics of heat pump in heating and cooling mode when operating speed was varied over the 30 to 102Hz. One of the major issues that has not been addressed so far is transient characteristics during speed modulation. The model for cycle simulation has been developed to predict the cycle performance under conditions of decreasing drive frequency and the results of the theoretical study were compared with the results of the experimental study. The simulated results were in good agreement with the experimental result within 10%. The transient cycle migration of the liquid state refrigerant causes significant dynamic change in system. Thus, the migration of refrigerant was the most important factor whenever do experimental results analysis or develop simulation model.

  • Nanocrystalline TiN films were deposited on Si(100) substrate using asymmetric pulsed DC reactive magnetron sputtering. We investigated the growing behavior and the structural properties of TiN films with change of duty cycle and pulsed frequency. Grain size of TiN films were decreased from 87.2 nm to 9.8 nm with decrease of duty cycle. The $2{\theta}$ values for (111) and (200) crystallographic planes of the TiN films were also decreased with decrease of duty cycle. This shift in $2{\theta}$ could be attributed to compressive stress in the TiN coatings. Thus, the change of plasma parameter has a strong influence not only on the microstructure but also on the residual stresses of TiN films.

모의수송 중 진동피로에 의한 복숭아의 손상 (Damage at the Peach Due to Vibrational Stress During Transportation Simulation Test)

  • Post-Harvest processing engineering is a field that studies prevention of the quality change of agricultural products during sorting, packaging, storage, and distribution after harvested. In distribution steps, agricultural products could be damaged by physical force, it is the main reason of low quality and they lost value of commodities. This study was performed to find the vibration characteristics of the peach, and to find the extent of the damage on the peach by fatigue stress. The vibration data was obtained on expressway and the vibration characteristics of peach was used to find the damage on the peach. To analyze the vibration characteristics of peach, the resonance frequency and vibration transmissibility were measured. The resonance frequency of the peach was 167.98 Hz and the transmissibility was 4.06 at resonance point. It was 150 ~ 250 Hz that the transmissibility was more than 1. And the transmissibility in simulated test was measured. When the trasmissibility was more than 1, the range was 15 ~ 65 Hz, and when it was less than 1, the range was 65 ~ 175 Hz. When the transmissibility was about 1, the range was 5 ~ 15 Hz. The damage and the vibration cycle numbers of peaches were compared with input frequency and acceleration. More damage and less cycle number happened in 30 Hz than in 62.5 Hz. The reason was that the transmissibility of 30 Hz was higher and the vibration displacement in lower frequency was more. The more acceleration and cycle number increased, the more the bruising volume of peaches increased. The bruising volume ratio for vibration fatigue was measured according to input acceleration and cycle number. Using measured data, regression models for bruising volume ratio(BVR) was developed as a function of the acceleration(A) and cycle number(CN) as follows. BVR = a * $A^b*$ $(CN)^c$
