  • With the growth of e-commerce banks make the best use of internet banking which can provide all sorts of financial services in cyber space and satisfy customers beyond traditional banking services which are cash reserve and loan based on retail. For survival of internet banking high quality of service should be provided to customers. For this, the attributes of service quality in internet banking should be identified first. The studies on scale of service quality in internet banking have been divided into two ways. While traditional way has focused on SERVQUAL, several researchers have developed scale of e-service quality. However, the dimension of e-service quality is applied from the traditional dimension of service quality. In this paper five dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy based on SERVQUAL are used as scale of service quality in internet banking through reviewing previous studies. In addition, because service value is correlated to service quality, the dimensions of service quality can affect e-service value. The positive relationship among e-service value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in online or offline service has been identified by previous studies. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship among service quality, e-service value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in internet banking. SPSS 12.0 is used to test validity and reliability of questionnaire items and correlation of variables and AMOS 4.0 is used to test the hypotheses. The results of this study show that the responsiveness, assurance, and empathy factors of service quality have a positive effect on service value and that the tangible and assurance factors have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. It also shows that e-service value affects positively customer satisfaction and loyalty. Customer satisfaction affects positively customer loyalty. • Professional coffee shops are trying to increase customers' satisfaction and to invite more customers by providing the differentiated services. The existing researches show that the effects which the physical environment in shops has on customers' satisfaction and word of mouth intention are appealing to people's attention. In comprehensively examining the studies related to the physical environment, they can be summarized into two main perspectives, that is, the direct effect that the physical environment has on customers' satisfaction, quality perception, and other customers' responses (purchase desire, revisit intention, etc.) and the indirect effect that the physical environment has on customers' responses by means of customers' emotion or value perception. This research established 4 hypotheses by sampling 321 customers of those who have visited professional coffee shops, and empirically analyzed them. The empirical analysis carried out the structure analysis of covariance by using SPSS 17.0 statistics package and AMOS 17.0. As a result of the hypothesis qualification, the other hypotheses excluding one little hypothesis were adopted. The one refused hypothesis is that the only symbolism of the environmental elements in shops doesn't influence the customers' emotion positively (+). This is considered as a very unexpected result, and yet many customers who visit coffee shops express the symbols of professional coffee shops using the expressions such as 'bean coffee shop' or 'star coffee shop', but these expressions seem not to influence customers' mind positively in practice.

  • As the number of smart phone users increases, many organizations begin to adopt social media rapidly to diversify communication channels with customers. Specifically, twitter, which supports instant and two-way communications between users and between organizations and users, has been adopted by many organizations as an efficient way not only to identify new customers but also to retain existing customers. However, little attention has been given to the issue on how organizations can effectively use twitter to improve customer satisfaction. To explore the issue, this study proposes two major dimensions, customer participation and organization resource utilization, which should be considered in building a utilization strategy for twitter in organizations. We then develop four different combinations along with these dimensions-follow, mention, retweet, and review types. Based on case studies of 27 organizations that use twitter, we evaluate the degrees of customer participation, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction, and examine matching or mismatching of the adoption purpose of twitter and its actual utilization. The study results reveal that organizations in the matching group show higher customer satisfaction that those in the mismatching group. This study sheds new light on twitter research by developing a new conceptual framework and using a case study approach to explore the relationship between the utilization strategy of twitter and customer satisfaction.
