  • Recently, business application vendors have responded to customer demand with several technological and organizational changes for reflecting network-oriented process flow with electronic communication and expanding their market. In organizational changes. Vendors are adding new functionality to their core offerings through mergers and acquisitions, or by partnering with front-office operation and SCM vendors. And technological changes are embracing the development of component-based application and middleware technology to be possible with integration of their function modules. We will present the design and development process of component-based SCM system to be integrated with heterogeneous ERP under implementation. Especially, we survey and analyze the technology related with CBD(Component-Based Development) to be adapted this research - component's design and methodology, the interface for component integration, middleware's development methodology of Enterprise Middleware vendo to bundle various types of middleware into a single package product with easy-to-use interface.

  • The media industry influenced by digital convergence is developing in the direction which the media consumers change their passive attitudes for positive participation on the base of the interactivity of convergence media of telecommunication and broadcasting. And content is progressing toward on-demand service which is customer-oriented and open. In light of these findings, interactivity is the most important feature which is able to shift the paradigm of the media industry and critical success factors which should be considered in order to plan the media strategy. This study is aimed at shedding light on the effects of interactivity factors, which are main factors of ubiquitous environment, on consumer's acceptance intention and describing the role of perceived interactivity and awareness of media substitution in the process of formation of acceptance intention..

  • Seamless end-to-end Internet Quality of Service (QoS) management is very only because Internet Management is not well understood and practiced in the real world but because the nature of the Internet is hard to predict and manage. Secure transmission, transport reliability, ability to differentiate service qualities, QoS-based intelligent routing, QoS monitoring, and customer-oriented service management are essential technical huddles to be coped with. Despite of these difficulties, the Internet becomes the platform of choice for the next generation applications and services. without a solid management solution, it is not easy to deploy high quality commercial services. In this paper, we propose an architecture of seamless end-to-end Internet QoS Management System and describe the design principles and system components of our developing prototype system.

  • Supply Chain Management is a process-oriented concept, integrated approach to procuring, producing, and delivering products and services to customers. Supply Chain Management covers the management of material, information, and funds flows. A strategic supply chain management produces for value maker and the ultimate customer. One aim of this paper is to determine the effect of contract parameters on the quality of the end product of the supplier-producer chain. The supply chain management is viewed as a single entity rather fragmented. This research constructed model the relationship of supply chain management to quality management. The questionnaire were tested with survey of supplier's employee and the result were analyzed using SEM(Structural Equation Model). As a result, Quality performance positively depends on the communication, coordination, and process management between the supplier and the producer.

  • This paper presents a unique approach to scheme a demand response (DR) program in the electricity market from a customer-oriented perspective, which is based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The proposed program is designed as an incentive-based program (IBP) considering Korea power systems with the cost-based generation pool (CBP). And the proposed DR program has the objective to maximize social welfare corresponding customers‘ participation and the constraints including incentive payments, the specific load curtailment conditions and reserve-margin criterion. A test system for the case study is used to demonstrate the usefulness and applicability of the proposed approach, and the load profiles with the proposed DR program are obtained. The results show not only the revenue attributable to the avoided costs but also enhancement of system reliability.

  • Lean production system can be defined as customer(product)-oriented production system with small lot size and flow-shop layout based on the JIT(Just-in-time) principles. In this paper, we introduce a case example of implementation of the Lean product ion system for manufacturing line of electronic component which has both machine processes and manual jobs. We also investigate the issues of implementing the Lean production system with the viewpoints of layout design scheme and JIT management rules. In the layout design, we propose the cell-line which has flow-shop layout with small lot size. In the management rules, the superior cell rule is applied in order to boost the needs of kaisen up. As the results of implementing the Lean production system, production lead time is decreased from 5 days to 1.5 days and also productivity and quality level arc surprisingly increased.

  • Information strategy planning (ISP) pursues alignment of business strategy and IT (Information Technology) strategy as well as derivation of feasible and valuable IT projects. However, conventional ISP methodology hardly obtains the objectives because of its intrinsic shortcomings. Diverse ways are proposed for the improvement of the conventional methodology including, for example, combination of EA (Enterprise Architecture) with ISP. Meanwhile, six-sigma methodology which is characterized by quantification, scientific and systematic approach, customer orientation, process orientation has been gaining considerable attention and extending its application scope continuously. In this paper, an innovative ISP methodology is proposed by decomposing activities, methods, and tasks from conventional ISP process and reorganizing them into DMADOV six-sigma framework. In addition, the usefulness and applicability of the newly proposed methodology are provided using an electronics company example. The methodology enhance the possibility of producing future oriented and beneficial IT projects by associating IT strategy and the projects in the form of quantified causal relationship. Besides, it can also increase the objectivity of IT vision and strategy.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the most successful way for the protection of medical information focusing on the electronic medical record(EMR). In this study, every aspect of the EMR is reviewed in terms of the hospital management. In particular, definitions, major functions, strengths and weaknesses of the EMR are considered. This study also examines the general development of the EMR as well as the current situation of applying the EMR. Important issues such as the protection of patient Medical information, informed consent, and the customer-oriented hospital information system are discussed and interpreted in light of the introduction of the EMR into the area of the hospital management.   • Purpose - This paper examines product design management, the current design focus of which has shifted to the need to produce innovation applications that can effectively respond to the market's consumption changes in a timely manner. Research design, data, methodology - This study discusses several methodologies that are widely used in experimental processes, such as fuzzy theory, multi-criteria decision-making theory, and managing decision making. The designers will better understand their customers by applying these methodologies. This study examines how the current trend in product innovation design observes customer needs, controls innovation, and stimulates design ability. Results - This paper takes innovative telephone design as an experimental case to investigate how to create a product using market-oriented and customized management concepts and creative design abilities. Conclusions - If accompanied by an innovative product value chain, a product can further the development of enterprise management, now the main element of every developed country's social and economic development.
