  • The purpose of this research is three-fold; 1, establish the causal model of market-orientation, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and firm's perfor-mance. 2. testify the hypothesis derived by the model on a service industry of fastfood franchise. 3. develop the diagnostic tool for managing the service firm from the perspective of CS. The results show us; 1. customer satisfaction increases the performance of franchise store. 2. employee satisfaction does not necessarily increases customer satisfaction in a short-run, however the long-run impact of employee satisfaction on customer satisfaction is conjectured to be increased. 3. Satisfaction Portfolio Analysis can be utilized as management tool to improve the customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction for service industry.

  • There are many airline customer evaluation data, but they are insufficient in terms of predicting customer satisfaction in practice. In particular, they are generally insufficient in case of verification of data value and development of a customer satisfaction prediction model based on customer evaluation data. In this paper, airline customer satisfaction analysis is conducted through an experiment of correlation analysis between customer evaluation data provided by Google's Kaggle. The difference in accuracy varied according to the three types, which are the overall variables, the top 4 and top 8 variables with the highest correlation. To build an airline customer satisfaction prediction model, they are applied to three classification algorithms of Random Forest, SVM, DNN and conduct a classification experiment. They are divided into training data and verification data by 7:3. As a result, the DNN model showed the lowest accuracy at 86.4%, while the SVM model at 89% and the Random Forest model at 95.7% showed the highest accuracy and performance.

  • This study conducted to analyze the causal relationships among image factors (brand, store, enterprise) of family restaurants, customer satisfaction, customer trust, and revisit intention as perceived by 271 customers, who have visited a family restaurant located in Ulsan and Busan regions. Present study performed frequency analysis, factor analysis, customer trust analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple (simple) regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. The analysis results indicated that the image of family restaurants had significant positive (+) influences on customer satisfaction, customer trust, and revisit intention, among which the biggest influential factor was found to be the store factor. Significant influence was shown for brand image followed by corporate image. In addition, customer satisfaction and customer trust had significant positive (+) influences on revisit intention. As a result of this study, store image among family restaurant images appeared as the most important element; hereupon, this study considers that it is necessary for a family restaurant to build a differentiated image to increase revisit intention by satisfying customer needs and by encouraging customers to have trust in the restaurant.

The questionnaires was administered to 417 women shopped in a fashion retail store in Gwang-ju city during January 14-18, 2002. For analysis of data, frequency, factor analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis were applied. The results were as follows: 1. The customers' perceived relational benefits were categorized as follow: 1) special treatment,2) social, and 3) psychological benefits. Relationship quality was categorized into two factors: trust and commitment 2. The relational benefits significantly influenced customer satisfaction. 3. The relational benefits significantly influenced relationship quality. 4. The relationship quality significantly influenced customer satisfaction. 5. The relational benefits had both direct and indirect effects on customer satisfaction mediated by relationship quality. The results indicated that causal relationship was existed among these three variables.

It will be helpful for hospitals to enhance service quality which will be of use to attain customer satisfaction and ultimately competitive advantage. Design: An empirical study. Methods: To verify the model, I conducted a questionnaire survey analysis. Items for measurement have been extracted from several related studies on medical industry. The survey target has been set by convenience sampling method and consists of citizens reside in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province, and total number of 161 samples have been analyzed. To verify validity and reliability, I conducted factor analysis and reliability analysis, and for hypotheses verification, multiple regression analyses have been performed. Results: This study aims to investigate the relation between service quality factors and customer satisfaction, and also those factors and customer loyalty. Service quality factors consist of Tangibles(X1), Reliability(X2), Assurance(X3), Responsiveness(X4), and Empathy(X5). According to the results of regression analyses, X1, X2, X3, and X5 have been proved to have positive relations with customer satisfaction and loyalty, whereas hypothesis related X4 has not been supported. Finally, customer satisfaction has been founded to affects positively to customer loyalty. Conclusions: Service quality factors are significantly related to customer satisfaction and loyalty. So medical institutions should aware of this and try to enhance service quality for attaining competitive advantage.

  • Recently it is difficult to draw an improvement for customer satisfaction because the ratio of satisfied customers increases in customer satisfaction survey. In addition, the effectiveness of practical application of customer satisfaction survey decreases due to its constitution limitation on its data analysis. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to develop a novel research to identify the strategy meanings and find dissatisfied factors of satisfied customers using the satisfied customers' reclassification. This study focuses on the satisfied customer segmentation based on Latent Class Analysis (LCA). The case study with high-speed internet service customers show that the satisfied customers are divided into three subgroups using LCA and we draw meaning results such as satisfaction and dissatisfaction factors through analyzing each group. This study is expected to play the role as the groundwork for the revitalization of customer satisfaction survey as well as improving customer satisfaction management.
