The target areas of cases are 4 cafe type automobile exhibition centers opened in Korea since 2014. The analytical results of the target areas of cases that reflected the characteristics of 'the third space' are as follow: First, cafe type automobile exhibition centers must be built to make customers enter the space and at the same time, receive information on automobiles and space naturally. Second, in order to increase satisfaction with the space and brands, there is the necessity to arouse their interest through various experiences including test driving cars directly. Third, revisit intention can be found to be more influenced by spatial design than brand satisfaction. Fourth, partitions or interior for dividing the space need to be improved. • This research was conducted to examine coffee shop customers' preference and satisfaction by different types of promotion. Research samples ware adults with experience of any form of coffee shop promotion (n=209). Descriptive statistics, Chi-square, t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the relations among variables. Results showed that 'free coupon' was the most preferred ones. SNS was the most frequently used search method for coffee shop coupon promotion information. The most preferred event promotion was 'freebies', and preference levels were significantly different by age and employment status. 'Barista experience' was ranked highest in preference among cultural experience events. Drinking coffee was the most important purpose of visiting coffee shops, especially among unemployed, twenties, and women respondents. Coupon was evaluated the highest in usefulness and satisfaction among the three promotion methods. Event and cultural experience were preferred more by respondents in their twenties than those in their thirties. Results indicated that all promotion strategies are effective for increasing customer satisfaction and for inducing revisit. Findings also showed that preference for promotion was affected by customer characteristics such as age and gender. Therefore, coffee shops should consider using the most effective and attractive promotion strategy for their target market, while maintaining a consistent service quality level to fulfill customer expectation.

Male students showed significantly higher foodservice satisfaction score than females in terms of reactivity (P<0.01) category. Students living in the dormitory for over 2 years were significantly less satisfied with the dormitory foodservice in terms of menu (P<0.05) and reactivity (P<0.001) categories. The average customer loyalty score was 2.73/5.00. Scores for revisit intention, words-of-mouth intention, and intent not to switch were 2.80, 2.73, and 2.65, respectively. Revisit intention and words-of-mouth intention showed a significant (P<0.001) positive correlation with food, environment, menu, sanitation, and reactivity. Non-switching intention showed a significant (P<0.001) positive correlation with food, menu, and reactivity. After classifying customers into four groups according to customer satisfaction and loyalty, a comparison was carried out to determine satisfaction and loyalty by each customer stratum. In the "loyalist" group, satisfaction with sanitation and the advertise intention by revisit and words-of-mouth were significantly higher than in the other groups (P<0.001). • The purpose of this study was to understand the effect of the characteristics of coupons purchased through a social shopping site upon customer satisfaction and future behavior intention. Based on total 332 samples who had bought franchise restaurant coupons and used them before, this study reviewed reliability and fitness of the research model and verified total 4 hypotheses with AMOS and SPSS program. The hypothesized relationships among the models were tested simultaneously by using a structure equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, ${\chi}^2$=309.795(df=103, p<.001), CMIN/DF=3.008, RMR=.103, GFI=.912, NFI=.927, CFI=.950, RMSEA=.074. The result showed that the coupon proneness(${\beta}$=.645) and price sensitivity(${\beta}$=-.315) had a significant influence on restaurant satisfaction(p<.001) and only coupon proneness(${\beta}$=1.040) had a significant influence on coupon satisfaction(p<.001). Also, restaurant satisfaction had a positive significant influence on restaurant customers' revisit intention(${\beta}$=.603, p<.001) and coupon users' repurchase intention(${\beta}$=.335, p<.001). Furthermore, coupon satisfaction had a positive significant influence on coupon repurchase intention(${\beta}$=.353, p<.001) but had a negative significant influence on restaurant revisit intention(${\beta}$=-.263, p<.001). Limitations and future research directions were also discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to show that the servicescape influences customers' attitudes and behavior in retail business environments. Based on the findings from the related studies, this study proposed a model which explores how customers' perceptions of sevicescape influence customers' cognitive, affective, and conative attitudes (i.e., brand image, customer satisfaction, and revisit intention) in franchise coffee shops. In order to test the proposed research framework, the data were collected in Daegu and two other cites located in Gyeongbuk province. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and a series of multiple regression analysis were utilized in the study. The findings showed that the servicescape of franchise coffee shops significantly affected customers' cognitive, affective, and conative attitudes. In particular, it is found that the affective attitude (i.e., customer satisfaction) was best explained by the servicecape among the three types of attitudes. Marketing implications are also discussed based on the findings.

  • The gap(P-E)-model is based on the disconfirmation paradigm that tries to under stand the effect of the gap between before purchase expectations and after purchase perceptions of the product performance on dependent variables such as customer satis-faction. But Bhote proposed multiply($I{\times}P$)-model instead of gap(P-E)-model in 1998. This paper is focused on Bhote's multiply($I{\times}P$)-model in food service industry. The purpose of this research is to test whether DINESERV's 5-dimensions by multiply($I{\times}P$) model fits in explaining satisfaction, revisit intention and customer loyalty. The F-value of regression model was used to test the fitness of regression model of the multiply($I{\times}P$)-model. Through analysis, it was found that the multiply($I{\times}P$)-model fits.
