자동차 외판 특징선 곡면의 단면 형상 측정과 분석 (Measurement and Analysis of the Section Profile for Feature Line Surface on an Automotive Outer Panel)

  • The current study presents a geometric measurement and analysis of the section profile for a feature line surface on an automotive outer panel. A feature line surface is the geometry which is a visually noticeable creased line on a smooth panel. In the current study the section profile of a feature line surface is analyzed geometrically. The section profile on the real press panel was measured using a coordinate measuring machine. The section profiles from the CAD model and the real panel are aligned using the same coordinate system defined by two holes near the feature line. In the aligned section profiles the chord length and height of the curved part were measured and analyzed. The results show that the feature line surface on the real panel is doubled in width size.

수치해석을 통한 보강토옹벽 직선부와 곡선부의 거동 특성 (Comparison of Behaviour of Straight and Curved Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls from Numerical Analysis Results)

  • 본 논문은 보강토옹벽의 곡선부 거동을 수치해석으로 분석한 내용을 다루고 있다. 보강토옹벽은 토목섬유의 발전과 함께 발달해왔다. 기존의 콘크리트 옹벽과 달리 성토 높이에 제약을 받지 않고 안정성을 확보할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며, 현재 산업 및 주거단지를 형성하는데 많이 사용되고 있다. 이러한 보강토옹벽의 설계는 현재 다른 형식의 옹벽 설계와 동일하게 내 외적 안정성 검토 및 보강재의 인장력에 대한 검토를 활용하여 이루어지고 있으며, 주로 2차원 수치해석을 바탕으로 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 기존의 연구결과에 따르면, 보강토옹벽의 취약부는 곡선부로 보고되고 있으며, 이는 실내모형시험 및 피해사례에 대한 연구에서 언급된 바 있다. 보강토옹벽의 곡선부 거동을 파악하기 위한 2차원 수치해석은 그 한계점을 분명히 드러내고 있으며, 실내모형시험 및 현장시험 또한 그 거동과 파괴메커니즘을 이해하기에는 그 한계를 갖고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 보강토옹벽의 곡선부의 거동을 이해하기 위해 3차원 수치해석을 수행하였으며, 수치해석에서의 직선부와 곡선부의 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 뿐만 아니라, 상재하중의 고려 여부 및 성토체의 다짐도를 달리하여 각각의 조건에서의 거동특성을 비교 분석하였다.

패턴 설계 요인에 따른 나폴레옹칼라의 형태 변화 연구 (Collar Shapes According to the Variation of the Pattern Design Factors of the Napoleon Collar)

  • This study analyzes the shapes of the adjustment of a Napoleon Collar which combines a stand collar with an upper collar. It established experimental conditions for fixing the conditions of Napoleon Collar components (lapel width, stand collar size and upper collar size) as well as varied the shape of the neckline, the length of the curve of a stand collar and the size of the drawing space at the center back. It produced 22 test clothes of muslin, which were dressed on dress form No. 8. The results indicate that: 1. Neckline shape determines the amount of stand and fall. Less curved neckline stands higher against the neck and a more curved neckline is laid lower onto the body. 2. A shorter curve length of a stand collar allows a longer roll line to fall farther away from the neck with more space between the neck and collar. However, the longer the depth of curve of a stand collar creates a shorter roll line that stands high against neck and closer to neck without any space between the neck and collar with a collar line matching the neck of the dress form. 3. The smaller the drawing space at the center back creates a shorter the style line of the upper collar. However, a narrower back width of the collar creates a bigger drawing space at the center back with a longer the style line and a more naturally placed back width of the collar. 4. A Napoleon Collar creates a longer depth of curve for a stand collar and a smaller drawing space at the center back that is tightly and stably stuck to the neck.

  • In this study, a formula for thermal processing induced plate deformations, in terms of process parameters such as heat input and plate thickness, is developed analytically using an infinite laminated plate theory to consider cuboidal inclusion with an eigenstrains. When a plate has arbitrary heating lines, complex deformed shape of plate was calculated by the method estimating plate deformation proposed by this study. To make a curved surface of the ship hull, the line heating method is mainly used. Application in automatization of line heating was deliberate by using proposed method.

  • This paper estimates the derailment factor of running train on the curved track. To estimate the derailment factor, wheel loads and lateral forces of train are measured on the track. The selected measuring points are the 400R and the 600R in the Honam line, the 300R and the 400R in the Janghang line, respectively. The derailment factors are evaluated from the wheel loads and lateral forces which are measured on the all axles of running trains.

팔동작시 체표변화에 따른 앞길원형의 허리다트에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Waist Dart of Front Bodice Pattern according to Body Surace Changes at Arm Movements)

  • This study investigates and analyzes the amount and shape of the front waist dart of the bodice and investigates the dart division method by bust size. Measurements at 5 arm positions were taken from 15 subjects. Clothing tests were given to 6 of the subjects. The conclusions were as follows: 1) Front Body surface changes were occurred around armpit and they were caused by the wrinkles of the armpit 2) The curved dart line was more appropriate for use with C cup, the large bust body, than the linear line. The changes of the dart amount at arm movements had different types by bust size. 3) Patterns for A & C cup body were adequate to divide the dart amount by 3 darts such as under the B.P., under the anterior armpit and side line, or to aggregate to 1 dart under the B.P. For the B cup body, however, the suitable pattern to use was the total dart amount divided by 1~2 darts and decreasing the waist line at the side line should be avoided.

철도차량 차륜마멸예측에 관한 연구 (A study on the prediction of wheel wear of railway rolling stock)

  • This paper describes an analytical method for wheel wear prediction. The outputs from vehicle dynamic software are used to calculation the wheel wear. Two calculation examples are shown for a high-speed line and a conventional line. Through the comparison of two cases, we can see the wheel wear characteristics on the conventional line and the high-speed line. The conventional line has many curved tracks that cause severe wheel flange wear. The influences of curve radius on wheel wear are also described considering the operational performance of the high speed trainset. A method of calculation using contact patch work model is presented for determination of the evolution by wear railway wheels.

곡관 연결 조건에 따른 디젤엔진 매연여과장치 입구 유속 분포의 CFD 해석 (A CFD Analysis of Flow Velocity at Inlet of a Diesel Particulate Filter according to the Curved Duct Connection Conditions)

  • 디젤 엔진 매연 필터의 입구부와 배출 가스 배출을 위한 배기관 연결을 직선 또는 곡선으로 형태로 연결하였을 때의 DPF 입구 유속 분포를 $STAR-CD^{(R)}$ 전산해석 프로그램을 사용하여 시뮬레이션하였다. 곡관의 형상을 나타내는 3 종류의 수치해석 용 격자 모델을 사용하여 DPF 입구에서의 유속 분포를 시뮬레이션 하였다. 피토관을 2차원 이송장치에 탑재하고 위치를 이동시키며 측정한 유속 분포와 동일한 조건에서 시뮬레이션한 결과와 비교하였다. DPF 입구와 $90^{\circ}$의 곡관이 연결된 조건에서 CFD 해석을 수행한 결과 입구 단면에서의 유속 분포가 말발굽 형태를 나타내었으며 최대 유속값이 DPF 중심축에서 약간 벗어난 위치에서 나타나고 있다. 이러한 CFD 해석결과는 실험 결과와 비교적 잘 일치하였다.
