The im of the present study is to introduce and develop the concept and theory of conspectus for the first time in Korea, and to propose a new evaluation model for book collection by actually applying the developed methodology to the collection of a special library dedicated to Biblical Studies. Conspectus is a standardized and objective evaluation method that classifies the main collection according to the division, category, subject, and then gives each collection ots appropriate collection level code by analyzing the classified collection in terms of three different dimensions, which are Current Collection Level(CL), Acquisition Commitment Level(AC), and Collection Goal Level(GL). To evaluate the collection of the sample library, shelflist analysis, list checking, acquisition data in ordering process by their main subject, and survey of its users have been carried out, and all of their results ahve been indicated in terms of eleven collection level codes developed by WLN Conspectus. T e collection of sample library was evaluated as '3cW' for CL, '4W' for AC, and '4W' for GL when the Conspectus methodology was applied for evaluation. This study could be utilized as an collection evaluation model for theological libraries, and become a basis to bring about more active cooperative collection development among related libraries.
Generally, the brand has its life cycle as the product has. This life cycle is classified into the stages; introduction, growth, maturity and decline. Since the brand is little different from that of the product's, we can find some differences when it applies to the brand. The most effective method to perceive the brand to the consumers is advertisement, therefore in the advertisement design, it is important to figure out the current stage in the brand life cycle and use the most ideal design strategy in that stage. This study suggests the concept of the brand life cycle and the most effective strategy in each stages of the advertisement design. In the stage of the brand introduction, we apply the 'What is it? Strategy' which introduces the brand itself. In the stage of the growth, 'How does it Differ from? Strategy' is suggested as the advertisement strategy emphasizing the positioning which shows its differential competitive advantages among brands because in this stage there are many competitive brands in the market. In the stage of the maturity, we focus on the 'What does it Convey of? Strategy' stressing on the delivery of brand's value to consumers as consumers they purchase the brand. Finally in the stage of the decline, 'What does it Stand for? Strategy' is suggested in order to emphasize the generation of brand's symbolical meaning rather than to emphasize it's attributes or benefits. Therefore the advertisement design needs the contingent ideal design strategy according to the stages of brand life cycle and the effective brand management through it.

Recently, competition between companies has intensified and so has the necessity of creating a new business value inventions has increased. A numbers of Business organizations are beginning to realize the importance of business process management. Processes however can often not go the way they were initially designed or non-efficient performance process model could be designed. This can be due to a lack of cooperation and understanding between business analysts and system developers. To solve this problem, business process mining which can be used as the basis of the business process re-engineering has been recognized to an important concept. Current process mining research has only focused their attention on extracting workflow-based process model from competed process logs. Thus there have a limitations in expressing various forms of business processes. The disadvantage in this method is process discovering time and log scanning time in itself take a considerable amount of time. This is due to the re-scanning of the process logs with each new update. In this paper, we will presents a modified FP-Tree algorithm for FP-Tree based business processes, which are used for association analysis in data mining. Our modified algorithm supports the discovery of the appropriate level of process model according to the user's need without re-scanning the entire process logs during updated.
As XML becomes popular as the way of presenting information on the web, how to secure XML data becomes an important issue. So far study on XML security has focused on security of data communications by using digital sign or encryption technology. But, it now requires not just to communicate secure XML data on communication but also to manage query process to access XML data since XML data becomes more complicated and bigger. We can manage XML data queries by access control technique. Right now current XML data access control only deals with read operation. This approach has no option to process update XML queries. In this paper, we present XML access control model and technique that can support both read and update operations. In this paper, we will propose the operation for XML document update. Also, We will define action type as a new concept to manage authorization information and process update queries. It results in both minimizing access control steps and reducing memory cost. In addition, we can filter queries that have no access rights at the XML data, which it can reduce unnecessary tasks for processing unauthorized query. As a result of the performance evaluation, we show our access control model is proved to be better than other access control model in update query. But it has a little overhead to decide action type in select query.
The cultural cluster in Chuncheon was initiated in the late 1990s with the combination of diverse components, which were companies, a local government entity, educational institutions, and human resources. In order to hold ability of standing on its own way in a hard time when the local cultural industries could not had developed by themselves, it urgently required the encouragement policy in the name of industry development. GIMC (Gangwon Information & Multimedia Corporation) was established in this situation, and policy strategies for promoting the cultural cluster was decided on the basis of GIMC's strategies. This article analyzes the evolution process of the local cluster and suggests characteristics of its every stage--initiation, development, and decline--on the basis of cluster competition concept because of the problem to deal with the evolution process of cluster from the existing viewpoint. This article finds out that Chuncheon cluster embarked on cultural cluster strategies without concerning basic elements which had to be prepared from the initial stage. This problem worked as the serious obstacle hampering development of Chunchen cluster. This problem was the matter of policies in providing a direction of industry development as well as leading a local cultural cluster and led to a result of weakening the connection among cluster components. As a result, this article shows that the current status of Chuncheon cultural cluster is being entered the decline stage, and, therefore, suggests that the advanced policy to promote cluster for a next round is urgently needed. Stable closing the first round of cultural cluster policies and thorough preparation for the second round is the only practical solution to minimize side effects of cluster decline. It is the prerequisite to restore trust and, at the same time, reinforce relationship between members who consist of Chuncheon cultural cluster.

Smart Factory is a concept of automatic production system of machines by the fusion of ICT and manufacturing. As a base technology for realizing such a smart factory, there is an increasing interest in a low-power environmentally friendly LED lighting system, and researches on so-called optical ID related application technologies such as communication using a LED and position recognition are actively underway. In this paper, We have proposed a system that can reliably identify logistics location and additional information without being affected by electromagnetic interference such as high voltage, high current, and generator in the plant. Through the basic experiment, we confirmed the applicability of the color ID recognition rate from 98.8% to 93.8% according to the eight color variations in the short distance.
To accomplish the greenhouse gas reduction which is over core unit project of the "Green growth" policy and "Resource circulation society", it is important to maintain proper balance and complement between energy recovery from waste and material recycling. This research(study) examined the related policies on the past of korea and foreign country, and also "The 4th resource recycling master plan" and "Energy recovery from waste plan" to provide advisable direction for resource recycling policy. The results of the research(study) showed that there were no significant difference between korea and developed foreign countries waste management policies. But in German policy, energy recovery from waste and pre-treatment are importantly considered and highly required for permission. Under current circumstance in korea, recycling will be more difficult than in the past. According to "The 4th resource recycling master plan", film type of synthetic resin was not sustainable recycled material in substance."Energy recovery from waste plan", proved that the energy recovery from RDF/RPF have lower efficiency than regular incineration generation and substance recycling. To solve these problems, the energy and remainder heat recovery must be generalized to "Energy recovery" concept and institutional improvement such as LCA(Life Cycle Assessment) system are need to support it. And also technology development to extract synthetic polymer by dissolved film type of synthetic resin must be provided.

This study was carried out to complement water quality standards and to establish new concept for water quality standards reflecting current state of water quality in small streams. By this purpose, discriminant analysis was performed and Water Quality Level Model (WQLM) was developed using the data such as EC, BOD, $COD_{Mn}$, SS, T-N, T-P, $NH_3-N$ in 224 agricultural streams. To give water quality level for water quality parameters, it divided into 20% respectively in the order of excellent water quality. On the basis of the lowest water quality level, water quality level of small streams is granted. As a result of it, number of stream corresponding to Level I was no, Level II was 2 streams, Level III was 22 streams, Level IV was 70 streams, and Level V was 130 streams. Average of water quality in each level was the highest in Level V. EC, SS, and T-N of 7 parameters were selected in variance concerned water quality level. By standardized canonical discriminant function coefficient, EC of three variances was the highest in 0.625 at the discriminant power. The next was T-N (0.509), SS (0.414). By discriminant function for water quality level, Level II was equal to $-2.973+19.376{\times}(EC)+0.647{\times}(T-N)+0.009{\times}(SS)$, Level III was equal to $-3.288+19.190{\times}(EC)+0.733{\times}(T-N)+0.041{\times}(SS)$, Level IV was equal to $-4.462+27.097{\times}(EC)+0.792{\times}(T-N)+0.053{\times}(SS)$, and Level V was equal to $-9.117+40.040{\times}(EC)+1.305{\times}(T-N)+0.111{\times}(SS)$. As a result of test at real agricultural watershed of Jeongan and Euidang in Gongju city, the fitness of WQLM was high to 88.78%. But, to get accomplished water quality assessment more exactly in agricultural streams, we had to concentrate and get vast data, and WQLM was modified and complemented continually.

Recently, the role of IT service providers has been enlarged from managing a single function or system to reconstructing entire information management processes in new ways to contribute to shareholder value across the enterprise. This movement toward extensive and complex outsourcing agreements has been driven by the assumption that outsourcing information technology functions is a reliable approach to maximizing resource productivity. Hiring external IT service providers to manage part or all of its information-related services helps a firm focus on its core business and provides better services to its clients, thus obtaining sustainable competitive advantage. This practice of focusing on the strategic aspect of outsourcing is referred to as strategic sourcing where the focus is capability sourcing, not procurement. Given the importance of the strategic outsourcing, however, to our knowledge, there is little empirical research on the relationship between the strategic outsourcing orientation and outsourcing performance. Moreover, there is little research on the factor that makes the strategic outsourcing effective. This study is designed to investigate the relationship between strategic IT outsourcing orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the process through which strategic IT outsourcing orientation influences outsourcing performance, Based on the framework of strategic orientation-performance and core competence based management, this study first identifies core competency orientation as a proper strategic orientation pertinent to IT outsourcing and IT outsourcing process management capability as the mediator to affect IT outsourcing performance. The proposed research model is then tested with a sample of 200 firms. The findings of this study may contribute to the literature in two ways. First, it draws on the strategic orientation - performance framework in developing its research model so that it can provide a new perspective to the well studied phenomena. This perspective allows practitioners and researchers to look at outsourcing from an angle that emphasizes the strategic decision making to outsource its IT functions. Second, by separating the concept of strategic orientation and outsourcing process management capability, this study provides practices with insight into how the strategic orientation can work effectively to achieve an expected result. In addition, the current study provides a basis for future studies that examine the factors affecting IT outsourcing performance with more controllable factors such as IT outsourcing process management capability rather than external hard-to-control factors including trust and relationship management. This study investigates the major factors that determine IT outsourcing success. Based on strategic orientation and core competency theories, we develop the proposed research model to investigate the relationship between core competency orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the mediating role of IT outsourcing process management capability on IT outsourcing performance. The model consists of two independent variables (core-competency-orientation and IT outsourcing process management capability), and two dependent variables (outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance). Comprehensive data collection was conducted through an outsourcing association. The survey data were analyzed using a structural analysis method. IT outsourcing process management capability was found to mediate the effect of core competency orientation on both outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance. Further analysis and findings are discussed.

For spatial analysis and decision-making based on territorial and urban information, technologies on 3D GIS with digital image data and photo-realistic 3D image models to visualize 3D modeling are being rapidly developed. Currently, satellite images, aerial images and aerial LiDAR data are mostly used to build 3D models and textures from oblique aerial photographs or terrestrial photographs are used to create 3D image models. However, we are in need of quality 3D image models as current models cannot express topographic and features most elaborately and realistically. Thus, this study analyzed techniques to use aerial photographs, aerial LiDAR, terrestrial photographs and terrestrial LiDAR to create a 3D image model with artificial features and special topographic that emphasize spatial accuracy, delicate depiction and photo-realistic imaging. A 3D image model with spatial accuracy and photographic texture was built to be served via 3D image map services systems on the Internet. As it was necessary to consider intended use and display scale when building 3D image models, in this study, we applied the concept of LoD(Level of Detail) to define 3D image model of buildings in five levels and established the models by following the levels.
