  • In this paper, a new scheme of current programmed control for three phase PWM AC-AC converter is presented. Compared to duty-ratio voltage control, current programmed control has several advantages such as reduction of system order, inherent current protection and robust output. By considering only the magnitude components, a similar scheme in the DC-DC converter can be extended to the three phase PWM AC-AC converter. The proposed current programmed control will be well adopted into various converter topologies though three phase PWM AC-AC boost converter is treated as an example. The converter analysis is carried out by applying the vector DQ transformation to obtain physical insight into the converter operation and to establish some important characteristic equations for control purpose. The experiment results show the validity of the proposed scheme.

  • In this paper, a new scheme of current programmed control for three phase PWM AC-AC converter is presented. Compared to duty-ratio voltage control, current programmed control has several advantages such as reduction of system order and inherent current protection. By considering only the magnitude components, the same scheme in the DC-DC converter can be extended to the three phase PWM AC-AC converter. Sensing the output voltage and the inductor current, an error signal will be generated by comparing the output voltage magnitude with a reference value. Then the error signal will be processed by a PI compensator to generate the current command. The converter switches will the change the state by a periodic clock pulse or at the instants when the inductor current magnitude reaches the current command. As an example case, the buck converter is treated. The converter analysis is carried out by applying the complex DQ circuit transformation to obtain basic physical insight into the converter operation and to establish some important characteristic equations for control purpose. The simulation with Simplorer shows the validity of the proposed scheme and the experimental results support the verification of the design.

  • Resonant parametric perturbation (RPP) method is an effective non-feedback method for controlling chaos. In this paper, the above method is applied for the current programmed buck-boost dc-dc converter which exhibits chaotic for wide parameter variations. The different possible operating regimes leading to chaotic operation of the current mode controlled buck-boost converter is discussed and the control of chaos by RPP method is demonstrated through computer simulations and experimental studies. The converter is stabilized to period 1 operation practically.

  • This paper describes a new pwm scheme of variable speed control for induction motor. The proposed scheme have the programmed pwm switching pattern which have the doninant harmonic elimination over the wide range of output speed in induction motor. Experimental results of proposed scheme hare high quality output current, voltage and torque than that of conventional pwm scheme. Therefore proposed scheme have the smooth operation and suitable for variable speed control in induction motor.

  • Programmed cell death is a basic cellular process that is critical to maintaining tissue homeostasis. In contrast to apoptosis, necrosis was previously regarded as an unregulated and uncontrollable process. However, as research has progressed, necrosis, also known as necroptosis or programmed necrosis, is drawing increasing attention, not least becasu of its possible impications for cancer research. Necroptosis exhibits a unique signaling pathway that requires the involvement of receptor interaction protein kinases 1 and 3 (RIP1 and RIP3), mixed lineage kinase domain-like (MLKL), and phosphoglycerate mutase 5 (PGAM5) and can be specifically inhibited by necrostatins. Not only does necroptosis serve as a backup cell death program when apoptosis is inhibited, but it is now recognized to play a pivotal role in regulating various physiological processes and the pathogenesis of a variety of human diseases such as ischemic brain injury, immune system disorders and cancer. The control of necroptosis by various defined trigger factors and signaling pathways now offers the opportunity to target this cellular process for therapeutic purposes. The purpose of this paper is to review current findings concerning the connections between various trigger factors and the RIP1/RIP3 signaling pathway as it relates to necroptosis.

  • This paper presents a novel Intelligent-Welding-Carriage (IWC) for automation of curved block in shipbuilding. The curved block is usually used in both front and back side of the ship. In curved block root gap is big, $1{\sim}7$ [mm] and inclination, $0{\sim}30$ [deg]. Since available conventional carriage type is limited to use below root gap of 3 [mm], only manual welding is employed in curved block. To adopt an IWC in curved block, it requires control of the welding conditions, i.e., voltage, current and travel speed, with respect to root gap and inclination to achieve good welding quality. In this paper, an IWC is developed for automization of welding operation to accommodate gap and inclination. Kinematics model and dynamics using Lagrangian formulation of the manipulator is introduced. IWC utilizes a database to perform accurate welding. The database is programmed based on numerous experimental test results with respect to gap, inclination, material, travel speed, weaving condition, voltage, and current. Finally, experimental result using PID control is addressed for verify the trajectory tracking accuracy of end-effector.

  • This paper describes the autonomous operation analysis of DC microgrid based on droop control. In order to verify the whole system operation, detailed simulation models for wind power generation, solar power generation, and battery were developed with user-defined models programmed with C-code in PSCAD/ EMTDC software. The simulation results confirm that the DC microgrid with droop control make it feasible to provide power to the load with stable manner. Based on simulation results a prototype of DC microgrid was built and tested in the lab to verify the autonomous operation experimentally. The droop control scheme can suppress the circulating current, and offers each unit to be controlled autonomously without any communication link.

  • With the development of ICT, research on smart farms is steadily progressing in the agricultural field for the modernization of cultivation facilities. However, most of the current smart farms are not specific crops, but general-purpose systems that can be used in various fields. In this paper, an environmental control device and an integrated control system capable of creating a aseptic growing environment required for mushroom cultivation were proposed, and the system was designed, manufactured, and programmed. Through this, it is possible to build a smart farm optimized for crops that is needed to maintain a precise growing environment.
