다결정 다이아몬드 필름의 신경종양세포(SH-SY5Y) 배양 특성 (Characteristic of neuroblastoma cell (SH-SY5Y) culture on the crystalline diamond film)

  • In order to fabricate high sensitive and stable biosensors, we require the material with superior biocompatibility and physical-chemical stability. Many kinds of biomaterials have been evaluated to apply for bioindustry. Recently, carbon based diamond thin films have been focal pointed as bio-applications and their possibility has been evaluated. Diamond thin film has many advantages for electrochemical and biological applications, such as wide potential window (3.0-3.5V), low background current and chemical-physical stability. In this work, we have cultured neuroblastoma cell (SH-SY5Y) on the crystalline diamond films. We use MTT assay to evaluate the characteristic of cell culture on the substrates. As a result, neuroblastoma cell was cultured on the crystalline diamond film as similar as cell culture dish.

동합금 가두리망 방어양식의 경제성과 수익구조 (Economic Feasibility of Culture Using the Copper Alloy Net Cage and the Profit Model of Fish Farm on Yellowtail, Seriola quinqueradiata)

  • This study is aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage in Gyeongsangbuk-do. First of all, in order to evaluate the copper alloy net cage on yellowtail culture, I review the trend on the yellowtail culture industry and research the concept of copper alloy net cage. The copper-alloy net cage is now recognized as an advantages of its system stability, recycling, antibiosis and food safety. The results were summarized as follows: first, there was significant meaning of the profit model of yellowtail culture by the price difference. Second, I analyzed in the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage, internal rate of return (IRR) was 51.58%, a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 2.27 and net present value (NPV) was 1,087,337 thousand won, which indicates the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage is profitable. Finally, in order to improve the economic valuation, it is necessary to focus more on the developing of technology and cost reduction strategy on the copper alloy net cage.

Removal of Inorganic Nitrogen and Phosphorus from Cow s Liquid Manure by Batch Algal Culture

  • Cow's liquid manure (CLM), an animal waste, was treated by a batch algal culture to remove inorganic nutrients. CLM used in this study was especially high in concentrations of inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus. The optimum dilution ratio of the CLM for maximum algal growth was 1:25. Ninety five percent of inorganic nitrogen and 100% of inorganic phosphorus were removed from the CLM with a dilution ratio of 1:25.

Comparative Study of Anti-Apoptotic Genes, Bcl-2 and P35 for the Suppression of Apoptosis Induced in Suspension Culture of Transformed Trichoplusia ni BTI Tn 5B1-4 Cells

  • To delay the onset of apoptosis in the culture, transformed Tn 5B1-4 cells harboring anti-apoptotic genes, bcl-2 and baculovirus p35, have been established and analyzed for their anti-apoptotic ability in suspension culture using spinner flasks. In the suspension culture at agitation speeds of 100 rpm and 200 rpm, the cell growth of cell clone expressing Bcl-2 protein was much higher than other two clones and the maximum cell density of the clone was 6.0 ${\times}$ 10$^{6}$ cells/ml and 6.2 ${\times}$ 10$^{6}$ cells/ml at day three of the incubation. On the other hand, the cell growth of cell clone expressing baculovirus protein P35 was much higher than other two clones in suspension culture at agitation speed of 300 rpm and the maximum cell density of the clone was 6.1 ${\times}$ 10$^{6}$ cells/ml at day three of the incubation. Based on the pattern of genomic DNA laddering and the microscopic observation of apoptotic bodies, the more apoptotic bodies are induced in Tn 5B1-4 control cell clone at higher agitation speed. This result shows that the shear stress can be a main factor in inducing apoptosis in spinner flask culture. At low agitation speed, cell clone expressing Bcl-2 was more effective in delaying the onset of apoptosis than the cell clone expressing P35. On the other hand, at high agitation speed, cell clones expressing baculovirus P35 was more effective in delaying the onset of apoptosis than the cell clone expressing Bcl-2. Therefore, anti-apoptotic genes, bcl-2 and baculovirus p35, can playa distinct role depending on agitation speed in the suspension culture.

  • The basic principle of the product manufacturing technology using the 3D printing technique materializes the material including the high molecular substance or plastic and metallic dust, and etc. the product into the laminate additive manufacturing according to the design diagram gradually. It is applied to the various industrial field including the field of food division, field of home appliances, field of medicine, field of mechanical department and construction, etc.. The global development case of 3D printing technique is the next. This study described global technology and market trends. Afterward, 3D printing technique manages the important role when it exceeds the product manufacturing view just and is grafted with the various technology including the biotechnology, nanotechnology, and etc. and it improves the quality of the human life.

<강남스타일>과 <젠틀맨>을 성공하게 한 장면에 대한 주관적 수용인식 유형 연구 Q-Sort 분석을 중심으로 (The Study of Subjective Awareness Acceptance about the Successful Scene of and )

  • 본 연구는 싸이의 <강남스타일>과 <젠틀맨>의 성공적 요인에 대하여 선행연구인 음악적인 관점, 정보통신 관점, 안무적인 관점 등과는 다른 관점으로 뮤직비디오에서 인기를 상승시킨 장면들은 어떤 유형이 있는가를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 Q 방법론을 적용하여 분석한 결과, <강남스타일>에서의 장면들에 대한 수용자 유형은 즐거움을 추구하는 유락유형, 전진 발전 유형, 피로해소 유형, 다양한 성인문화 유형으로 분류되었고, <젠틀맨>은 공동체적 군무 유형, 시건방진 춤 유형, 유쾌한 포장마차 유형, 괴롭힘 유형으로 장면들이 수용자들에게 인식되었다. <강남스타일>과 <젠틀맨>에서 발견된 공통적인 장면 유형은 안무유형과 한국에서 볼 수 있는 문화 유형이 발견되었다. 특히 <강남스타일>에서 발견된 장면 유형은 한국적인 문화유형이 많이 내포되어 있는 것으로 파악되었고, <젠틀맨>은 포장마차 유형만이 한국적인 문화유형으로 파악되었다.

Plasmid Stability and Cloned-Gene Expression in Continuous Culture of Recombinant Escherichia Coli Under Derepressed Condition

  • Continuous culture was carried out with a recombinant Escherichia coli W3110/pCR185, which encodes trp-operon enzymes when the temperature is shifted from $37^{circ}C\;t;42^{\circ}C$. Under derepressed condition of $42^{\circ}C$. plasmlid stability and gene expression were analysed as function of the dilution rate. The stability of plasmid increased with the dilution rate, but maximal levels of gene expression (tryptophan concentration) and plasmid DNA content were obtained at the lowest dilution rate, $0.075\;hr^{-1}$. The plasmid instability, observed at low dilution rates, could be explained by the unbalanced biosynthetic state of the recombinant cell harboring a high copy number of plasmid.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 보급으로 사용자가 정보와 지식의 접근이 용이 해진 반면, 방대한 정보의 과 부화로 인하여 데이터의 신뢰성이 문제시 되고 있다. 특히, 기존의 학술 연구와 관련된 논문 데이터 검색에 있어서, 사용자의 요구 사항에 정확히 부합하는 결과물을 제공하는 데는 많은 한계를 가진다. 본 연구는 기존의 단순 키워드 매칭 검색의 한계를 넘어서, 레퍼런스와 인용 논문을 활용한 내용 기반 검색 방법론을 제안 한다.

  • 고감도 바이오센서를 제작하기 위해서는 높은 생체적합성 및 물리적/화학적 안정성을 가진 재질이 필요하며 다양한 재질들이 바이오산업에 응용 가능 여부를 평가 받고 있다. 근래, 카본재질의 다이아몬드 및 그라핀 박막은 많은 주목을 받고 있으며 그 가능성이 부분적으로 평가되고 있다. 다이아몬드는 넓은 전위창(3.0~3.5 V), 낮은 누설전류, 물리/화학적 안정성과 같은 전기화학적이고 생물학적 응용의 장점이 있으며, 그라핀 또한 물리/화학적 안정성과 전도성이 뛰어난 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 나노결정 다이아몬드, 마이크로결정 다이아몬드, 그라핀 및 세포배양판 표면에 사람의 신경세포(SH-SY5Y)를 배양하고 세포독성시험(MTT assay)을 이용하여 재질에 따른 배양 특성을 비교 평가하였다. 그 결과 기존 사용되고 있는 세포배양판과 카본재질은 세포 배양 특성이 유사하였다. 우리는 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 카본재질이 향후 바이오센서와 같은 바이오산업에 응용될 것으로 예상된다.
