The cultural tendency based on sharing and cooperation, which has recently been a hot issue, accelerates throughout the world. This study began with a perception that a sharing culture is inherent in urban public spaces. This study aims to conduct a theoretical study of the sharing culture and to analyze the characteristics of the design composition of public spaces. This study selected squares in 16 European cities as cases for analysis. The results are summarized as follows:1)To analyze the design characteristics of public spaces in which a sharing culture is inherent, this study drew the shape and type of planes and sharing elements such as accessibility, symbolism and activity with the squares in the cases. 2)The shape of planes in the squares in the cases has been formed in close relations with the historic meaning and events of the area and the process of the construction of buildings surrounding the square. The squares in the cases were classified into seven plane types, and these squares have developmentally contributed to the formation of a sharing culture as a place for free participation and communication concerning social issues. 3)In the squares in the cases, the weight of road-centered access appears high, and in terms of the construction of human-friendly / environment-friendly infrastructure in the city or judging from the trend of the recent increase of pedestrian-centered plans for public space, it is judged that approaches with a high utilization rate of sidewalk or public transportation would be desirable. 4)Symbolic elements of the square become a device by which citizens can share the historic symbolism, along with artistic inspiration. In addition, by serving as an observatory from which people can take a view of the landscape of the city, it allows visual sharing of the entire city as well as the square. 5)A square is common pool resources in the community, and it is necessary to vitalize that in a direction of increasing the possibility of sharing, through the characteristics and methods of the composition of public design.

The purpose of this study is to provide the guideline of the interior design of Wedding halls, based on a series of investigations and analysis of the consumer's preference. Marriage is an essential ceremony of family life. However the Wedding culture has been changed since the western culture affected to traditional marriage concept. Many countries have different wedding culture and traditiov. Ours are largely divided into the traditional Korean wedding ceremony and the modern, i.e. the westerv. The customer's preference and the opinion for the Wedding hall analyzed through survey to find out the guideline for the interior desigv. The result of this research can be summarized as followings; 1) The interior design was the most influential element when choosing the wedding hall. 2) The preferred colors for the wedding hall were pink and white. 3) The preferred light fixture for the wedding hall was the chandelier. 4) The main points concerned in the guideline of interior design for the wedding hall were building facade, accessibility toward the wedding hall, parking lot, traffic circulation and etc.

The purpose of research will establish the foundation to enhance the skills of Railway Color Design in the future by accurately analysing the Railway Color characteristics. The emotion and demnds of times influences trend of Railway Color Design, the contents of this research also reflects trend in society and culture. The research contains the history of Railway Design and advance research of Railway Color trend especially influenced by society and culture in the from the 1960's to the year 2005. The study is based on the concept of Railway Color Design. it analyzed the related current of society, culture and Railway Color. Collected Railway Color samples(Railway 46 images) were studied by using visual sensation. The Munsell Color System was used as references. This research analyzed railway introduced as railway models by top 4 nation (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan) and Korea in the past years(1960-2005) for their Railway Color Design trend by Munsell Color System. Although the Railway industry has rapidly risen according to life style in society and culture, there has been a lack of organized data for Railway Color Planing. this research on the basis will offer the significant information for Railway Color Design.

It is said that the mainstream of the oriental culture is Confucian culture, but not be the unique culture of Korea. The religious object in Taoist ideology of immortality reflecting the awareness of cultural community and Korean identity was three spirits. Three spirits are one spirit in terms of main subject. Three spirits were named because they rule the heaven, the earth and human beings each in the reality. The custom performing the religious service to the heaven and the earth is not based on the Taoist ideology of immortality but only the superstition which we can't understand. However, we can clearly understand the reason why the ideology has been transmitted up to now in our awareness and culture when we understand the basis of that ideology. The theory on the origin based on the birthplace of Taoist ideology would be based on the shamanism of Eastern barbarianism and their cultural features. Accordingly, this paper aimed to identify the formative features of phoenix pattern and background of the formation of phoenix pattern based on the unique culture of Korea. Furthermore, the traditional craft works of Korea with the phoenix pattern which secured its position as the representative pattern of Korea will be investigated.

현대는 정보화시대의 절정에 도달한 상황으로 디지털문화로 인한 문화범람 속에 자리한 듯하다. 동서의 예술과 문화가 서로 접목되어 퓨전문화의 의미가 보편화되고 삶의 질이 향상되어 그 어느때보다도 풍부한 문화적 혜택을 누리고 있다고 여겨진다. 이러한 상황에서 자칫 문화의 혼합으로 문화원류를 저버릴 우려와 함께 특히 우리 문화에 대한 가벼운 인식과 이의 혼합보존에 있어서 자리매김이 소중하며 더 나아가 다음 세대들이 이어나갈 우리문화의 가치에 대한 재조명이 중요시되는 시점이다. 이에 본 연구자는 부산지역의 거대한 축제역할을 하며 중요무형문화재로 지정된 <동래야류>에 대한 관심을 갖게 되어 이의 전수와 활성화를 위한 방안을 연구하게 되었다. 무형문화재를 구성하고 있는 음악, 의상, 춤사위, 소품 등의 컨텐츠 중 시각적인 효과가 크고 과거와 현재에 그 형태적 차이가 큰 의상부분을 택하여 개발부분으로 설정하였다. 탈의 해학성과 어울리면서 신세대들이 선호할 수 있는 의상으로 디자인의 현대화를 제안하므로 전통문화에 대한 관심을 유도하며 한편 지역문화축제 활성화를 위한 작은 모티브가 될 수 있기를 기대하였다.
