  • This descriptive convergence research aimed to explore predictors of retention intention of nurses. Participants were 207 nurses from five small and medium-sized hospital located in city G and province J. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's corelation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Among predictors, nursing practice environment, age, peer group caring interaction, current hospital work experience, and assignment to desired department significantly affected retention intention and nursing practice environment had the greatest effect on retention intention(${\beta}=.35$). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to make efforts to improve nursing practice environment, caring interaction and good relationship between organizations.

  • This study aimed to explore predictors of terminal care stress of nurses. Participants were 197 nurses from a C university hospital in J city. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. On hierarchial multiple regression, dignified dying attitude, turnover intention, well dying attitude, and spirituality explained 39.6% of variance in terminal care stress. The results suggest that dignified dying attitude, well dying attitude, spirituality need to be properly assessed and managed to reduce terminal care stress of nurses.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between depression and stress self-esteem, self-efficacy and nursing students influence factors. This study is a descriptive research study of 116 nursing college students in 3rd graders at two c, h colleges in c area. The data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 21.0 program, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, and Pearson correlation coefficient calculation and multiple regression analysis. Data collection took place from October 2017 to December 2017. The factors affecting depression were stress (${\beta}=0.246$, p=.000), self-efficacy(${\beta}=-.170$, p=.000) and self-esteem(${\beta}=-.131$, p=.000). In order to prevent depression in nursing college students, it is necessary to investigate the cause of depression and the degree of depression, and to reduce the depression and find ways to counteract emotional health problems.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Self-Efficacy and Job Stress on Quality of Service. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire from Care givers using convenient sampling methods from May 1 to August 30, 2019. The data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 25.0 using independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlational coefficient and multiple regression. These factors together explained 42.0% of the Quality of service in Care givers(F=13.86, p=<.001). Factor influence the Quality of Service was Self-Efficacy(β=0.56, p=<.001). The findings of this study indicate that education programs should be developed to improve the self-efficiency of caregivers and that further studies should be conducted on their effects.

  • The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study to understand the relationship between sexual attitude, sexual knowledge and gender sensitivity of nursing college students, and to analyze the effect on gender sensitivity. T-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression analysis were performed Using SPSS 22.0 version. As a result of the study, gender sensitivity was positively correlated with sexual attitude (r=.383, p=.000), and the factors affecting gender sensitivity of nursing students were sexual attitude (𝛽=.365, p=. 000). In the future, it can be used as basic data for the development of a program that can establish a correct sexual attitude in order to increase the gender sensitivity of nursing college students.

  • This study is a descriptive research study to identify the factors that influence the academic self-efficacy, self-resilience, and department satisfaction of nursing college students on subjective happiness. From October 26th to November 2nd, 2020, 131 students from the four-year nursing department were surveyed by convenience sampling. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA, Scheff'e, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 25.0. As a result of the study, subjective happiness was academic self-efficacy (=.26, p=.002), self-resilience (=.32, p<.001), and department satisfaction (=.27, p<.001), 43% explained subjective happiness. In conclusion, the factors that influence the subjective happiness of nursing students were in the order of self-resilience, department satisfaction, and academic self-efficacy. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and apply programs to improve subjective happiness in nursing college students.

  • The study was attempted to investigate the factors influencing the academic procrastination of nursing college students. The subjects who participated in this study were 215 nursing students at one college in the Ulsan were surveyed using a structured questionnairs. Independent t-test, one way ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient, Stepwise regression were performed on the collected data using SPSS 25.0 program. Study finding revealed that fear of failure(β=0.65, p<.001), socially prescribed perfectionism(β=0.29, p<.001), about academic procrastination were significant predictive variables(F=26.68, p<.001). This variables accounted for 28.8% of the variance in core nursing competency. The results of this study can be used as basic data for developing a program to lower the academic procrastination level of nursing students.

  • In binary-modulation non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), there has been rare researches for the 1+1 capacity region to be achieved; how much total power is required and what power allocation is assigned for this total power. In this paper, the average total transmitted power to achieve 1+1 capacity region of binary pulse amplitude modulation (2PAM) NOMA is investigated, with a tolerable loss. Then, based on the sufficient average total transmitted power, we calculate the power allocation coefficient to achieve 1+1 capacity region. Furthermore, it is shown by numerical results that with the tolerable loss less than 0.008, near 1+1 capacity region is achieved. We also calculate numerically the power allocation coefficient for both users to achieve near 1+1 capacity region. As a result, for 2PAM NOMA to operate near 1+1 capacity region, proper total power with appropriate power allocation could be calculated in design of NOMA systems.
