The submerged U-shape breakwater interaction with the solitary wave is simulated by the Boussinesq equations using the finite-difference scheme. The wave reflection, transmission, and dissipation (RTD) coefficients are used to investigate the U-shape breakwater's performance for different crest width, Lc1, and indent breakwater height, du. The results show that the submerged breakwater performance for a set of U-shape breakwater with the same cross-section area is related to the length of submerged breakwater crest, Lc1, and the distance between the crests, Lc2 (or the height of du). The breakwater has the maximum performance when the crest length is larger, and at the same time, the distance between them increases. Changing the Lc1 and du of the U-shape breakwaters result in a significant change in the RTD coefficients. Comparison of the U-shape breakwater, having the best performance, with the averaged RTD values shows that the transmission coefficients, Kt, has a better performance of up to 4% in comparison to other breakwaters. Also, the reflection coefficients KR and the diffusion coefficients, Kd shows a better performance of about 30% and 55% on average, respectively. However, the model governing equations are non-dissipative. The non-energy conserving of the transmission and reflection coefficients due to wave and breakwater interaction results in dissipation type contribution. The U-shape breakwater with the best performance is compared with the rectangular breakwater with the same cross-section area to investigate the economic advantages of the U-shape breakwater. The transmission coefficients, Kt, of the U-shape breakwater shows a better performance of 5% higher than the rectangular one. The reflection coefficient, KR, is 60% lower for U-shape in comparison to rectangular one; however, the diffusion coefficients, Kd, of U-shape breakwater is 35% higher than the rectangular breakwater. Therefore, we could say that the U-shape breakwater has a better performance than the rectangular one.
Energy distribution function for electrons in $SF_6$-Ar mixtures gas used by MCS-BEq algorithm has been analysed over the E/N range 30${\sim}$300(Td) by a two term Boltzmann equation and by a Monte Carlo Simulation using a set of electron cross sections determined by other authors, experimentally the electron swarm parameters for 0.2(%) and 0.5(%) $SF_6$-Ar mixtures were measured by time-of-flight(TOF) method, The results show that the deduced longitudinal diffusion coefficients and transverse diffusion coefficients agree reasonably well with theoretical for a rang of E/N values The results obtained from Boltzmann equation method and Monte Carlo simulation have been compared with present and previously obtained data and respective set of electron collision cross sections of the molecules.
The general approach using sine series expansions was represented to evaluate the radiation loading from a vibrating surface on a simply supported cylinder. In this paper, the fluid-loading coefficients (radiation impedance) for a submerged finite cylindrical shell with an arbitrary end condition are defined and evaluated. The vibrations of cylindrical shell are expressed by using cosine series expansions to analyze the radiation impedance for a finite cylindrical shell. It is possible to represent the displacements at both ends of cylindrical shell in comparison with sine series. The direct and cross modal components of fluid-loading coefficients are shown and the validity of cosine series expansions are verified from the results of numerical computations. This approach and results are directly applicable in the analysis of sound radiation from subemerged finite cylindrical shell with arbitrary end conditions.
Energy distribution function for electrons in $SF_6$-Ar mixtures gas used by MCS-BEq algorithm has been analysed over the E/N range $30\sim300$[Td] by a two term Boltzmann equation and by a Monte Carlo Simulation using a set of electron cross sections determined by other authors, experimentally the electron swarm parameters for 0.2[%] and 0.5[%] $SF_6$-Ar mixtures were measured by time-of-flight(TOF) method. The results show that the deduced electron drift velocities, the electron ionization or attachment coefficients, longitudinal and transverse diffusion coefficients and mean energy agree reasonably well with theoretical for a rang of E/N values. The transport coefficients for electrons in (0.2[%])$SF_6$-Ar and (0.5[%]$SF_6$ - Ar mixtures were measured by time-of-flight method, and the electron energy distribution function and the parameters of the velocity and the diffusion were determined by the variation of the collision cross-sections with energy. The results obtained from Boltzmann equation method and Monte Carlo simulation have been compared with present and previously obtained data and respective set of electron collision cross sections of the molecules.

In this paper, we performed the comparisons between polarization diversity using dual polarization antennal which has $\pm45^{\circ}$slanted linear polarization characteristics and conventional space diversity in rural and residential areas. The analysis was done by evaluating the diversity gain improvement and cross correlation coefficients between two received signals through each diversity branch. From the results, we could confirmed that space diversity has bigger diversity gain than polarization diversity by 1~2 dB, and there is a little difference of $\pm0.1$ in cross correlation coefficients by analyzing CDF under portable mobile phone environments.

Study on the electron transport coefficient in mixtures of CF4 and Ar, have been analyzed over a range of the reduced electric field strength between 0.1 and 350[Td] by the two-term approximation of the Boltzmann equation (BEq.) method and the Monte Carlo simulation (MCS). The calculations of electron swarm parameters require the knowledge of several collision cross-sections of electron beam. Thus, published momentum transfer, ionization, vibration, attachment, electronic excitation, and dissociation cross-sections of electrons for $CF_4$ and Ar, were used. The differences of the transport coefficients of electrons in $CF_4$ mixtures of Ar, have been explained by the deduced energy distribution functions for electrons and the complete collision cross-sections for electrons. The results of the Boltzmann equation and the Monte Carlo simulation have been compared with the data presented by several workers. The deduced transport coefficients for electrons agree reasonably well with the experimental and simulation data obtained by Nakamura and Hayashi. The energy distribution function of electrons in $CF_4-Ar$ mixtures shows the Maxwellian distribution for energy. That is, $f({\varepsilon})$ has the symmetrical shape whose axis of symmetry is a most probably energy. The proposed theoretical simulation techniques in this work will be useful to predict the fundamental process of charged particles and the breakdown properties of gas mixtures. A two-term approximation of the Boltzmann equation analysis and Monte Carlo simulation have been used to study electron transport coefficients.

This paper calculates and gives the analysis of mean energy in pure $SiH_4,\;Ar-SiH_4$ mixture gases ($SiH_4-0.5[%],\;5[%]$) over the range of $E/N =0.01{\sim}300[Td]$, p = 0.1, 1, 5.0 [Torr] by Monte Carlo the Backward prolongation method of the Boltzmann equation using computer simulation without using expensive equipment. The results have been obtained by using the electron collision cross sections by TOF, PT, SST sampling, compared with the experimental data determined by the other author. It also proved the reliability of the electron collision cross sections and shows the practical values of computer simulation. The calculations of electron swarm parameters require the knowledge of several collision cross-sections of electron beam. Thus, published momentum transfer, ionization, vibration, attachment, electronic excitation, and dissociation cross-sections of electrons for $SiH_4$ and Ar, were used. The differences of the transport coefficients of electrons in $SiH_4$, mixtures of $SiH_4$ and Ar, have been explained by the deduced energy distribution functions for electrons and the complete collision cross-sections for electrons. A two-term approximation of the Boltzmann equation analysis and Monte Carlo simulation have been used to study electron transport coefficients.
In this study, the theoretical dynamic characteristics of a thin-walled composite beam with a single-cell of chordwise asymmetric cross-section was studied. Mathematical modeling was done by considering the transverse shear effects, the warping restraint effects, the constant taper ratio in the longitudinal direction of the beam, and the geometrical cross-section ratio. The mass coefficients, stiffness coefficients, and Eigen frequencies of the selected section were investigated. In particular, the effects of the taper ratio and cross-section ratio of the model on the Eigen frequencies were analyzed and compared when the asymmetry of the section was considered and the warping function was not corrected.
Compared with traditional transmission towers, T-shaped angle towers have long cross-arms and are specially used for ultrahigh-voltage direct-current (UHVDC) transmission. Nevertheless, the wind loads of T-shaped towers have not received much attention in previous studies. Consequently, a series of wind tunnel tests on the T-shaped towers featuring cross-arms of varying lengths were conducted using the high-frequency force balance (HFFB) technique. The test results reveal that the T-shaped tower's drag coefficients nearly remain constant at different testing velocities, demonstrating that Reynolds number effects are negligible in the test range of 1.26 × 104-2.30 × 104. The maximum values of the longitudinal base shear and torsion of the T-shaped tower are reached at 15° and 25° of wind incidence, respectively. In the yaw angle, the crosswind coefficients of the tower body are quite small, whereas those of the cross-arms are significant, and as a result, the assumption in some load codes (such as ASCE 74-2020, IEC 60826-2017 and EN 50341-1:2012) that the resultant force direction is the same as the wind direction may be inappropriate for the cross-arm situation. The fitting formulas for the wind load-distribution factors of the tower body and cross-arms are developed, respectively, which would greatly facilitate the determination of the wind loads on T-shaped angle towers.

The purpose of this paper is to present the method of acquiring 3D GIS data using the statistical estimating methods of Well Log for balancing Seismic data. We use the reflection coefficients of seismic data to get the parameters for the reservoir characterization and we balance the reflection coefficients of seismic data using well log to increase the confidence of the estimated result. Well logs are required to balance the reflection coefficients at the point where seismic data are acquired. In this research, we discuss the geostatistical estimation methods and we applied these methods to real data. Kriging gives high weights to the close well logs, which means estimated results are mainly affected by close well log. High value of cross variograms gave big difference on cokriging result comparing to kriging results and low value of cross variogram gave little differences.
