한국과 뉴질랜드 초등학교 저학년의 덧셈과 뺄셈 지도방법에 관한 고찰 (A Note on Teaching Method of Addition and Subtraction between Korea and New Zealand Primary School)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze teaching method of addition and subtraction of whole number in Korea and New Zealand lower grade textbook and to get some suggestive points to develop mathematics curriculum and for a qualitative improvement of textbook. To do this, we will analyze focusing on teaching material, type and method of teaching, cases of real teaching and in the case of New Zealand, we will analyze portfolios together to see what kind of things do they deal with related to addition and subtraction. From these analyzing, the results are as follows: First, the guideline of accomplishment of group of year are stated in 2009 revised curriculum in Korea but it is rough. On the other hand, the level of accomplishment from kindergarten to high school are stated divided by eight kinds of thing in New Zealand curriculum. Second, there were common and different points in the aspect of teaching material. The common points are that both of our Korea and New Zealand are using materials related to real life intimately and the diifferent points are to use technology such as calculator and computer. They are more widely used in New Zealand than our Korea. Third, Korea had used routine method mainly but New Zealand had used method to develop creativity of learner such as to write problem corresponding to expression, posing problem corresponding to information, to complete table and find pattern and to write word problem to explain pattern and so on. Fourth, we could see special calculation strategies in the case of teaching addition and subtraction such as concept of double, compensation, various strategy based on counting of number, addition of the same number, magic square, near-double which are not finding in our mathematics textbook. Fifth, in the New Zealand textbook they had used teaching methods inducing curiosity of learner such as finding message and puzzle problem than solving given problem simply.

A Study of the Roles of Leadership Styles and Attitudes with Social Responsibility for the 4th Industrial Revolution

  • The 4th Industrial Revolution (FIR) has already begun. Corporations have to fulfill their social responsibilities to the FIR. This study explores the leadership and attitudes required in the FIR era for companies to fulfill their social responsibilities. In the FIR era, workers should have certain attitudes, such as self-efficacy, expectancy, and acceptance of change. If workers have these attitudes, they will be able to make a difference in the future. This study suggests the leadership styles that are needed to improve these attitudes. Participation, creativity, delegation of leadership, and inspirational motivation of leaders involves organizational change and improvement of organizational performance. This paper demonstrates the kind of leadership that is more important for each attitude through statistical analysis. Furthermore, when workers have these attitudes, not only the future, but also their current performance can be improved. To explain this relationship, the paper describes the effect of attitudes on job satisfaction. If workers have certain attitudes, their current and future performance will improve. As a result of the research, all four leadership styles had positive effects on attitudes toward FIR, and attitudes showed a mediating effect on the relationship between leadership styles and job satisfaction. In addition, it has been proven that the role of participative and delegating leadership, which is more member-oriented leadership, is more important. Leadership will enable workers to have a particular attitude through member-centered leadership, and workers will be able to increase current and future performance. Through these efforts, companies will be able to increase their performance in the current and FIR era, and fulfill their social responsibilities more faithfully. Therefore, in the FIR era, companies will play an important role in the development of society, and create new values.

재정지원 사업의 성과분석을 통한 공학 교육 방향 모색 (Seeking for engineering education direction through performance analysis of financial aid project)

  • 본 논문은 공학교육 개선을 위하여 재정지원 사업을 수행한 대학의 사업성과 분석을 통해 지방 공과대학의 교육방향을 모색하고 개선점을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 공학교육혁신지원사업을 수행한 대학의 3년간의 사업 만족도 조사를 통해 성과분석을 진행하였다. 사업에 참여한 이해관계자를 대상으로 지원사업의 교육프로그램과 운영에 따른 성과 등 통계적 분석을 진행한 결과 지원사업의 종합만족도 평점은 73.8%에서 83.4%로 상승하고 있으나, 산업체 만족도는 상대적으로 감소하고 있다. 조사 결과 신입사원들의 업무수행의 창의성 및 문제해결 능력의 만족도가 낮아 사업의 종합 만족도가 감소한 것을 알 수 있다. 향후 공학교육 혁신을 위한 교육프로그램 설계를 통해 창의적 문제해결 능력이 배양될 수 있는 공학교육 개선방안을 마련하고자 한다.

한국 패션 디자인 진흥 정책이 신진 패션 디자이너의 브랜드 운영에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Korean fashion design incubation policies on new fashion designer's brand management)

  • With the increased importance of design creativity in global fashion marketplaces, there have arisen numerous promotional strategies for new fashion designers in Korea, yet little research has been done on this subject. This study examines the new fashion design promotion policies in Korea and their effects from the designer's perspective. First, we analyzed the contents of twenty-one strategies from thirteen organizations regarding the types of support from the strategies. As a result, four distinct types are identified: new designer recognition; information and consulting support; brand incubating; and marketing support. Next, we performed in-depth one-on-one interviews with eleven designers who had been awarded from one or more of the fashion design incubation policies. The results reveal that the incubating policies' cash rewards and space support are found to be most effective. In terms of the revised fashion and brand consulting policy, "brand operation" had an influence. In addition, fashion the new brand advertisement and marketing policy had positively influenced the "brand development." However, throughout the interview, designers note that the quality of education and information provisions need some improvement. Furthermore, the designers indicate the lack of supervision and professionalism from the marketing departments. Based on this content, this study emphasizes the necessity of an effective fashion design promotion policy, and strategic and consistent support for the whole fashion promotion team. At the minimum, an integrated and united supervision by the organization is necessary and should be taken into consideration.

중학교 정보교과에서 짝 프로그래밍이 4Cs 향상에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Pair Programming on 4Cs Improvement in Middle School Informatics)

  • 협동학습의 한 모형인 짝 프로그래밍을 중학교 정보 교과 수업에 적용하였다. 짝 프로그래밍을 통하여 알고리즘 및 프로그래밍 교육을 2주간에 걸쳐서 교육시키고, 전미교육협회에서 제시한 4Cs에 준거하여 실험 분석하였다. 실험결과 통제집단은 사전-사후1검사에서 비판적사고가 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였고, 실험집단은 비판적사고, 의사소통, 협업, 창의력 모든 측정에서 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 사전-사후2검사에서 통제집단은 4Cs 평균점수 차이가 전체적으로 0.2점대로 근소하게 나타나 별다른 변화가 없었으며, 실험집단은 비판적사고, 의사소통, 협업, 창의력, 모든 측정에서 통계적으로 유의하게 향상하였다. 사후1-사후2검사에서는 두 집단 모두 4Cs에 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 모든 사후검사에서 실험집단은 통제집단보다 4Cs 모든 측정에서 높은 점수를 보였다. 이에 따라 짝 프로그래밍의 적용은 4Cs에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

대학입학사정관제에 대한 고등학교 교사의 인식에 대한 연구: 면접전형을 중심으로 (A Study of High School Teachers' Perceptions on the Admissions Officer Interview System for College Admission: Focusing on the interview screening)

  • 본 연구는 고등학교 교사들의 인식을 통해 입학사정관제의 면접영역에 대한 평가와 입학사정관제도 전반의 개선방안에 대해 검토하였다. 대전지역 인문계 고교 교사들의 응답을 대상으로 기술통계분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들은 잠재력 평가와 관련하여 학생들의 가치관과 도전정신, 적극성 등을 중요한 요소로 평가하였고, 인성 평가와 관련하여 책임감과 공동체 의식, 갈등극복의 유연성을 중요하게 평가하였다. 이외에 입학사정관 전형에서 보강되어야 할 면접문항은 학생들의 의욕과 인생관, 창의성 등이었다. 둘째, 입학사정관제에 대한 만족도는 총 15점 중 9.34점으로 다소 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 입학사정관제의 운영 개선을 위한 방안으로는 선발과정의 공정성 확보를 가장 중요하게 인식하고 있었다. 이에 본 연구를 통해 입학사정관의 전문성을 보장하고, 입학사정관제도의 개선방안을 위한 정책적 대안을 제시하였다.

이공계 여대생과 기업의 NCS 기반 직업기초능력 중요도 인식 및 평가에 의한 R-WeSET 프로그램 운영의 시사점 (Operational Implication of R-WeSET Program through Women Students and Companies' Perception and Assessment on the Basis of NCS Key Competency)

  • This study aims to deduce operational implication of R-WeSET program through women students in science & engineering and companies's perception and assessment on the basis of NCS key competency. The significant results are as follows. Firstly, companies and women students in science & engineering share a similar perception on importance of NCS key competencies. The programs should be reviewed and improved for women students who are truly aware of companies' needs. Secondly, the main areas of NCS key competency that are poor in companies' perception are 'positive thinking & drive', 'creativity & challenge spirit', 'communication skills' and 'problem-solving skills'. To enhance these weak skills, activating the actual programs such as "Convergence Design Camp", "Field Adaptability Improvement" and developing the new communication program are required. Lastly, most of women students have attained the satisfying result from "Field Competency Reinforcement Program". Especially, "Industry Field Training" shared the great progresses on all skills of key competency, hence why the progressive model should be developed in the future. This study figures out who's the right person for the 4th Industrial Revolution era, producing a meaningful result in order to change in the higher education system of women students and to grow human resources who will contribute to the community and company.

2015 개정 초등학교 수학과 교육과정 역량, 기능, 성취기준 연계성 분석을 통한 교육과정 개선 방안 탐색 (Exploring improvement of curriculum on analysis of the connectivity between competencies, skills and achievement standards in 2015 revised mathematics curriculum for elementary school)

  • 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정에서 교과 역량이 '기능'과 '성취기준'으로 구체화되어 제시됨에 따라, 본 연구에서는 2015 개정 초등학교 수학과 교육과정에서 역량, 기능, 성취기준의 연계 양상을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 여섯 가지의 수학과 역량은 '기능'으로 고르게 제시되었으나, '기능' 중 일부는 성취기준으로 제시되지 않았으며, '이해하기'와 같은 기능에 치중되는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로 차기 수학과 교육과정의 역량 구현을 개선하기 위한 몇 가지의 시사점을 도출하였다.

오케스트라 동아리 참여 대학생의 성취도 및 만족도 조사 - 통계적 방법과 오피니언 마이닝의 융합적 측면 (Achievement and satisfaction research of the undergraduate orchestra club activities - A convergent aspects of statistical method and opinion mining)

  • 일반적으로 학생 오케스트라 활동은 창의력과 감수성을 개발시켜 청소년기의 학생들에게 올바른 취미생활을 제공함으로써 사회적 정서적 불안감을 해소시켜 주고 소속감을 갖는 등 안정감을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학생들에게도 오케스트라 동아리 활동이 비슷한 결과를 야기하는지에 대하여 알아보았다. 그 결과 청소년기의 학생들과는 달리, 오케스트라 동아리 활동 자체에 대한 성취도는 높으나, 사회성이나 자신감 향상에는 크게 도움이 되지는 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러함에도 불구하고 긍정적인 요소들도 있고 또한 빅데이터를 활용한 인식분석(오피니언 마이닝) 등을 통해 보았을 때 분명히 긍정적인 요소가 있는 만큼, 대학생 오케스트라 활동에 대해서도 국가차원의 지원이 있어야 하겠다.

뇌기반 진화적 접근법을 적용한 초등학생 수준별 자유탐구 안내자료 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effect of Differentiated Open Inquiry Guide Materials for Elementary Students Applying a Brain-based Evolutionary Approach)

  • Since open inquiry of science was formally introduced at the 2007 Revised Science Curriculum Course, the purpose and effect of it has been positively evaluated, and it is underlined continuously until the revised science education course in 2015. However, through many previous studies, there is still a lack of awareness of open inquiry of both students and teachers in the field, and it was revealed they are continually appealing confusion and difficulties. Therefore, in this research, we analyzed the causes that make it difficult to execute open inquiry, and developed differentiated open inquiry guide materials that can contribute to the realization of teachers and students. They were developed by the brain-based evolutionary approach to provide students with authentic science. The brain-based evolutionary approach is reflecting the evolutionary attributes and the brain functions associated activities of scientists. It was revealed that, in the same way as the pilot test results, the usefulness of the differentiated guide materials were very high, and there was a statistically significant difference in the science attitude. It was found that the application of the brain-based evolutionary approach had positively influenced the stage of determining the inquiry themes, and self-confidence that could be able to do as a scientist. Analysis of top and sub group types on the basis of inquiry ability showed that both groups are improved at science attitude by the differentiated guide materials. There was a positive effect on change in the self-perception of scientific creativity. We were able to see a positive change in the post survey for open inquiry-efficacy. The developed differentiated open inquiry guide materials contributed to the improvement of open inquiry-efficacy for both the teacher and student.
