A Study on Efficient Animated Character Based on the Hunlock Effect

  • Combined with expert interviews and questionnaire investigations, this paper aims at analyzing the different characteristics of the animated characters Spider-Man from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse based on Hunlock Effect, in order to provide appropriate guidance for animation characters designers and limited inspiration for creative practices. First, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is chosen as the case to analyze 6 Spider-Man with different personalities, who appear at the same time. Then, Spider-Man's characteristics are analyzed through interviews with experts. At last, the key study focuses on the influence of environmental factors on the formation of Spider-Man's roles in the theory of Hunlock Effect, in light of the principle of personality formation in psychology. From the perspective of psychology, interdisciplinary study on animated characters provides scientific and effective support for animation character design, and increases the fascination of animation characters' personalities.

  • 본 논문은 긍정탐구리더십(Appreciative Leadership)이 종업원 인게이지먼트에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검토하고자 하였다. 긍정탐구리더십에서는 리더를 '서로 다른 스타일의 리더십들의 통합된 혼합물을 효과적으로 다룰 수 있으며, 자문과 방향 제시가 가능한 사람들'이라고 설명하고 있다(Withney & Trosten-Bloom, 2010). 또한 긍정탐구리더십은 '전체를 위한 조직의 목표를 가진 공유가치시스템과 개인의 강점에 기초한 성장을 통해 미래의 건설적인 공동창조작업을 가능하게 하는 긍정적 리더십 행동의 한 방식'으로도 설명하고 있다(Withney & Trosten-Bloom, 2010). 긍정 질문과 개방적인 대화를 통해 구성원들을 몰입시키며, 긍정적 리더는 구성원들에게 동기를 부여하고, 영감을 불어넣으며, 스스로 소중하다고 느끼도록 한다. 연구결과, 긍정탐구리더십의 하위 요인 중 Inspiration(영감불어넣기)는 종업원 인게이지먼트의 직무몰입과 조직몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 Inquiry(질문하기)는 조직몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다.

현대패션에 나타난 데 스틸(De Stijl)의 조형성 연구 (A Study on Formativeness of De Stijl in Contemporary Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how fine art is received in fashion, and to contribute to the development of a creative fashion culture. In order to do this examination, this study focuses on the formative ideas of De Stijl which appeared in the early 20th century. In addition, this study presents examples of today's fashion that still reflects the formative ideas of De Stijl. The De stijl movement did not last for a long time, but it has had significant influence on modern art, and has been a source of inspiration to fashion designers since the Mondrian look was presented by Yves Saint Laurent in 1965. The study on the basis of De Stijl such as Neo-Plasticism of Piet Mondrian and Elementalism of Theo van Doesburg, has been conducted in this study. As a result, this study presents formative characteristics of the De Stijl group in fashion as follows: First, contemporary fashion designers have searched for proportion and thickness of lines and the side split using lines, a stylistic trait of an artist in the De Stijl group. Second, color scheme defined by the De Stijl group has been applied with modification to contemporary fashion. Modification and selective choice of the limited colors are for a contemporaneous style. Third, formative ideas of De Stijl, which strives to achieve the vision of Utopia, has turned up in contemporary fashion as a simple and minimal silhouette. Contemporary fashion has enhanced their aesthetic value by deriving not only a superficial expression but also plastic principle and philosophy from De stijl. It can be regarded as the fashion's ideal way to embrace style of art and it might be so described as a key to edifying artistic and creative attributes of fashion.

패션일러스트레이션에서의 데페이즈망 표현기법에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Expressive Characteristics of Dépaysement in Fashion Illustration)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a creative technique in fashion illustration through analyzing expressive characteristics of $d{\acute{e}}paysement$. This study is analyzed by examining the general theories of $d{\acute{e}}paysement$ and investigating the expressive technique related to the method of $d{\acute{e}}paysement$ in surrealism art and the expressive characteristics which is applied to fashion illustration. In this study, the researcher examines cases of the application of $d{\acute{e}}paysement$ to the fashion illustration through reviewing fashion illustrators' art works created since 2000. $D{\acute{e}}paysement$ is unfamiliar impression with lexical meaning in french that is translated by transposition or displacement technique, or country and one's home leave or person put in strange living environment. The characteristics of $d{\acute{e}}paysement$ in fashion illustration include spatial distortion, combination of heterogeneous objects located anywhere odd and modification and conversion of objects such as material change, change-over of scale in usual objects and conversion of inanimate objects into organism. As a result of reviewing the expressive characteristics of Depaysement from fashion illustration artworks, it is found that the fashion illustration with $d{\acute{e}}paysement$ fortified the individuality in fashion illustration and helps produce a creative inspiration which results in a distinctive ideas. This also has a greate possibilities to produce a tremendous ideas in fashion illustration.

대만애니메이션의 발전과 그 동향 분석 (An Activated Analysis of the Development of Animation in Taiwan)

  • 대만 초기애니메이션은 미국과 일본의 영향아래 발전하였으며, 대부분 하청위주의 위탁가공이었다. 1970-80년대 이후 애니메이션 산업의 기술적 정착과 체계적 관리는 현재 대만애니메이션 산업의 발전과 디지털화를 가능하게 하였다. 1990년대 이후 정부의 장려금지원정책도 있었지만 기업투자의 열망과 창작자의 실험적 창의성이 산업경제구조와 잘 조화되면서 애니메이션의 급속한 성장을 가져왔다. 2000년에 이르러 인터넷과 영상매체의 발전으로 애니메이션 산업은 새로운 영역으로 확대되었지만 여러 문제점도 함께 나타났다. 이는 대만정부의 소극적인 애니메이션 보조금 지원정책과 전문적인 인재양성 계획 부재, 전문교육기관과 교육인력 미비, 창의적인 스토리텔링 고갈과 해외작품의 형식위주 모방 그리고 문화산업간 국제교류 부족 등에 기인한다.

실험실과 창의성 : 책임자와 실험실 문화의 역할을 중심으로 (Laboratory and Creativity: The Role of the Leader and Laboratory Culture)

  • 과학적 창의성은 새롭고 중요한 과학적 사실, 방법, 이론, 설명, 측정기구와 이를 낳는 활동이다. 지금까지 창의성에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어졌지만, 대학의 실험실에서 팀단위의 협동 연구에서 발현되는 과학적 창의성에 대한 이해는 부족하다. 본 논문은 우리나라에서 대표적으로 창의적인 실험실로 간주되는 서울대학교 RNA 유전체학 연구실에 대한 미시적, 경험적 참여관찰과 이론적 분석을 통해 실험실의 창의성을 구성하는 요소를 찾아내는 것을 목표로 한다. 창의적인 업적은 순간적인 영감에 의해서 이루어지는 것이 아니라 복잡하고 지속적인 진화의 과정을 필요로 하며, 이 과정에서 다양한 지식과 능력을 지닌 연구자들에게 맞는 분업과 협동 체계가 중요하게 요구된다. 또한 이러한 구조를 활성화 하는 실험실 문화와 실험실 책임자의 리더십이 중요하게 작용함을 관찰할 수 있었다.

나선형(螺旋形) 모티브를 응용(應用)한 복식(服飾) 디자인 연구(硏究) (A Study on Dress Design with Application of Spiral Form)

  • The spiral form, which comes from the organic form of natural phenomenon such as growth of creatures, has been used as a factor of formative shape in various fields of art until now. In conjunction herewith, this study intends to discover and express the life force and the formative beauty of natural substances with the organic spiral forms into clothing design, using various creating methods and materials such as Korean traditional paper. The natural substances with the spiral structure, such as seashells, land snails, passion flower, curled flower, growing chart of plants, Impatiens textori was used as subjects of the designs. The seven pieces of work were completed with attempts to develop aesthetic forms through the presentation techniques and methods via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation. Through such process the conclusion of this study is as follows: First, the nature, with unlimited possibilities, could be subject of human formative activities, leading to the creative world of formative art for designers. Second, adaptation of the spiral organic forms of nature into the contemporary clothing designs proved the motif as a source of inspiration of diverse subject, in recognition with its innate formative beauty as well as external shape. Third, design expressions via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation with designer's subjective point of view were adequate for the creations of contemporary fashion designs. Fourth, the Korean traditional paper, as a fine material for various shape according to the handling method, could be used appropriately in the contemporary clothing designs, expressing our aesthetic senses. Fifth and finally, expansion of the realm of formative expression of clothing through the development of possibilities of expression in contemporary clothing would enhance the creative possibilities of clothing design as formative art. In conclusion, the expression of clothing design as formative art was developed on the emphasis of re-creation of natural objects of the organic spiral form. For the future study, the applications of spiral form into everyday clothing designs, consolidating artistic senses and practical senses, are expected as opportunity of proposing developmental possibilities of the contemporary clothing designs.

E.Paul Torrance 의 디자인 기준에 의하여 선택된 연화문(蓮花紋)을 응용한 스크린 프린팅 디자인 연구 (Screen Printing Designs using the Lotus as a Source of Inspiration and Selected Design Criteria by E. Paul Torrance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 「Guiding Crieative Talent」의 저자이자 교수인 E.Pual Torrance에 의하여 제시된 디자인 기준(design criteria) 중에 3가지 디자인 기준을 선택하여, 스크린 프린팅기법에 의거, 일련의 디자인을 제작하는 것이다. 이 디자인 기준은 1958년, Torrance에 의하여 수행된 \"The Minnesota Tests of Creative Thinking\" 중 일부이다. 그는 \"창의적인 발상전개에 있어서 보다 더 주의를 요하는 것은 마지막 생산물(the products)이 아니라 그것의 과정(the process)인 것이다.\"라고 강조해 왔으며, 창의적 사고에 관한 개념을 제시해 왔다. 본 연구의 디자인은 그 창작의 착상의 모티브(motif)로써 연화문(蓮花紋)을 선택하여 다양한 디자인의 스크린 프린팅을 창작하였다. 12개의 디자인이 제작되었데, 그것은 Torrance에 의하여 제안된 약 20개의 기준(criteria) 가운데 저자가 디자인 착상에 있어서 최소한의 기본요소라 생각되어, 임의로 선택한 3가지 기준에 의하여 만들어졌다. :3가지 기준이란 1) 모티브(motif)의 수적증가(multiplication) 2) 모티브(motif)의 위치변화 3) 모티브(motif)의 모양변화이다. 전체적인 디자인과 테두리 디자인(border design)이 선택적으로 디자인 과정에 포함되었으며, 최종적으로 12개의 디자인이 선택, 1가지의 색채를 이용하여 스크린 프린팅에 의하여 제작되었다. 디자인 제작과정으로, Torrance의 각각의 디자인 기준에 의한 여러 장의 스케치를 그린 후, 그중 12개의 스케치를 임의로 선택하여 옷감위에 프린팅하였다. 디자인 제작 결과, 저자가 선택한 3개의 디자인 기준만으로도 다양한 수의 서로 다른 디자인 창작이 가능하였으며 본 연구에서는 1개의 디자인 기준을 선택 응용하였으나 보다 많은 디자인 기준을 선택하여 동시에 비교 연구하는 것도 필요하다고 본다. 그리고 1개 이상의 디자인 모티브(motif)를 함께 디자인 착상에 이용하는 것도 가능하다고 본다.

The Perceptions of Apparel Design and Merchandising Students on Creativity and Apparel Design Copyright

  • The purpose of this study was to explore fashion design and merchandising students' perception of creativity and the copyright protection of apparel design. A survey with open-ended questions was developed and distributed to a total of 100 fashion major students with specializations in apparel design and merchandising from three different universities located in a northwestern state of the United States. A majority of respondents showed their awareness that copying apparel design is ethically wrong and counterfeiting is legally wrong. They were able to distinguish between copying and interpreting and were aware that incorporating limited elements from inspirations was ethically acceptable. However, many of the students look for design inspiration from secondary sources, such as existing designers' works which they observe over the Internet, magazines, fashion shows, and store shopping, which may pose them to the temptation to copy such ideas. Although fashion copyright protection law has yet to become enacted, a majority of respondents support passage of fashion copyright protection law. The results give support to the needs for addressing the creative problem-solving processes and ethical decision-making jointly within apparel design and merchandising curriculum.

아르누보 양식의 유기적인 선을 모티브로 한 업스타일 디자인 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study about Style-Up Design Development as a Motive of Organic Line in Art Nouveau Style)

  • Hair style takes a large part in emphasizing to the appearance and the effect of image transformation with fashion to the modern people whose competition is appearance in 21 century. According to the development of mass media and the exchange of the life style. Image creation which correspond to T.P.O is needed and style-up is also required in modern costume, as the coordination for special day is routinized. In this study, the expression of a fine and organic line shown as a motive in Art Nouveau style's works is applied to style-up design and a new view sight to the style-up design through the art history is suggested with developing style-up design to satisfy the upgraded customer's requirements. The feminine beauty is appeared as a various image by applying style-up design from Art Nouveau style through this study. and the infinite possibility to the design development can be found with activated motive of Art Nouveau. These Art Nouveau trend will be a foundation to the inspiration of high artistic design and will be helpful to the aesthetic satisfaction of the elegance modern people. Therefore, I hope this study will be a fundamental data for creative development of hair design through the art history which may be forgetting.
