  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 지도 데이터베이스를 모바일 폰에 사용할 수 있도록 래스터 이미지로 변환시켜 전송할 수 있는 무선 지도의 동적 생성 기법을 제안하였다. 무선 지도의 동적 생성을 위해서 좌표변환, 데이터 압축과 해독 등 클라이언트 모들의 기능을 서버로 이전시키고, 제한된 자인을 가진 모바일 폰에서 JAVA 브라우저를 구동할 수 있게 하였다. 지도의 일반화 작업은 서버에서 수행하도록 하여, 모바일 폰 전용의 지도 데이터베이스가 없어도 무선 전자지도서비스가 가능하도록 구현하였다. 또한 서버에서 지도의 필터링작업을 병행하게 함으로써 한계 이내의 클라이언트 대기시간을 보장하였다. 실험을 목적으로 설계하고 구현한 사용자 인터페이스 상에서 사용자가 원하는 지역 또는 시설물을 찾기 위한 키워드를 입력한 후, 모바일 폰에서 사용 가능한 래스터 전자 지도를 목적한 바와 같이 동적으로 생성할 수 있는 지를 확인하여 제안된 방법의 성능을 검증하였다.

Diversification Strategy through Market Creation: The Case of CJ Group

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate upon a diversification strategy through market creation of CJ Group, which has contributed in positioning of the firm as one of the leading conglomerates in South Korea. With such objective, the background of CJ Group, followed by its business diversification strategies were explored, with reference to several case studies. The history of CJ Group began with establishment of CheilJedang Industrial Corporation in 1953, as the first domestic sugar producer and exporter of South Korea. The corporation gradually expanded its business ever since at both national and global level, to include the fields of food production, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life chemicals. Later, CheilJedang (CJ) Group was established as an affiliate of CheilJedang Industrial Corporation. With such independence, extension of business has been witnessed across the industries of media, entertainment, finance, information technology and distribution. Thus, the current CJ Group pursues to define itself as a progressive global living culture company with four major business categories from food and food service, biotechnology, entertainment and media, and logistics. Despite its success in today's market, CJ Group underwent hardships in its business diversification in 1990s due to indiscreet management, along with the Asian financial crisis. Here, many firms overcame the financial difficulties by taking advantage of the exchange rate for overseas expansion. Though, CJ Group tried to differentiate itself by focusing on the domestic market by creating something out of nothing. Hence, CJ Group takes a unique position among many cases of business diversification and their categorization. In an effort to identify and classify the types of growth experienced by the top 30 companies in South Korea, the firms were categorized into four groups according to their diversification strategies adapted after the Asian financial crisis. Based on the mode and time of entry, corporations were identified either as the 'Explorer', 'Invader', 'Venture Capitalist', or 'Assimilator'. Here, the majority of the firms showed the qualities of Invader, entering mature markets through large-scaled mergers and acquisitions. However, CJ Group was the only firm that was categorized as an Explorer, for its focus on the newly emerging service sector in culture-contents industry. This diversification strategy through market creation is worth examining, due to its contribution in generating simultaneous growth between the market and the company itself. Diverse brands of CJ Group have been referred to as case studies in this regard, from 'Hatban', 'Cine de Chef', 'VIPS' to 'CJ GLS'. These four businesses, each to represent processed food, film, restaurant service, and logistics industries respectively, show CJ Group's effectiveness in creating a whole new category of goods and services that are innovative. In fact, such businesses not only contributed in advancement of consumers' wellbeing, but toward generating additional value and employment. It is true that the diversification strategy of CJ Group requires long-term capital investment with high risk, compared to the other strategies mentioned in the paper. However, this model does create high employment and additional values that are positive to both the society and the firm itself. Therefore, the paper comes to a conclusion that the diversification strategy through market creation conveys the most positive impact relative to the others.

  • 상황인지 환경의 유헬스 서비스는 환자가 실생활에 접촉할 수 있는 여러 상황에 대해 컴퓨터가 인지하여 건강 서비스를 제공하는 것이다. 상황인지 환경의 서비스를 추천하기 위해서는 상황 데이터의 정의와 서비스 추천 요인과 관련이 있는지를 식별해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 상황인지 환경의 유헬스 서비스를 제공하기 위해 상황 데이터에 대한 추천 요인들을 다변량 분석기법을 이용하여 식별하며, 의사결정 트리 및 연관성 규칙 기반의 의사결정 모델을 생성한다. 추천 요인의 식별을 통해서 건강 서비스 제공에 유의한 상황 데이터를 판별할 수 있다. 또한 선호도 의사결정 모델을 통해 환자의 상황 데이터에 따라 선호 요인을 알 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 혁신에 관한 이론적 논의를 검토하고, 위탁집행형 준정부기관의 특징을 바탕으로 혁신을 위한 방향을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 또한 지식창출을 위한 혁신의 주요 내용과 방향성을 탐색함으로서, 위탁집행형 준정부기관 혁신을 위한 방향을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 혁신과제란 하나의 사업이자 공적 서비스이므로, 서비스의 혁신의 논의를 활용해 혁신과제 유형화를 위한 이론적 검토를 실시하고자 한다. 이론적 틀에 따르면 공공부문 혁신의 시작은 환경 및 사회적 가치의 변화를 탐색하는데서 시작한다. 이 과정을 통해 혁신의 목표와 방향은 물론이고 기관별 핵심역량과 연계된 혁신 과제를 설정하게 된다. 이때 주의할 점은 제도적 조건과 해당 위탁집행형 준정부기관의 특성을 고려해야 한다는 점이다. 결론적으로 이러한 특성을 고려하여, 위탁집행형 준정부기관들은 자신들의 혁신과제 달성을 위한 노력을 확인하고, 자신이 어느 유형에 속하는지 혁신의 추진여건을 진단할 필요가 있다.

Delphi를 활용한 융합 서비스 설계에 관한 연구 : 은행지점 도입용 금융 서비스 로봇 사례 (Convergence Service Design Using Delphi Technique : Financial Service Robot for Introduction to Bank Branches)

  • This study applies the Delphi method to design services with convergence characteristics in the financial sector. In designing a service robot for practical deployment that can support and replace bank teller, the opinions and judgments of various expert groups were extracted and a consensus process was made through feedback. A total of six dimensions and thirty service elements were derived over three rounds. Coefficient of Variation and content validity were used to verify the suitability and reliability of the selected service elements. As a result, the essential service element of robots was interaction with customers, followed by basic and professional financial services. Based on these service factors, we proposed two types of service models. support mode to assist employees during business hours and alternative mode on behalf of employees outside business hours. It is hoped that this study will use the Delphi technique in the design of IT convergence services.

  • 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 사회적 네트워크 개념을 적용한 온라인 인맥, 혹은 관계 기반의 소통 서비스로 정의된다. 소셜 협업 서비스는 소셜 네트워크 서비스에 포함되는 것으로서, 구성원간의 공동창작을 통해, 콘텐츠를 재가공, 재생산함으로써 새로운 가치를 창출해내는 특징을 지닌다. 이는 공유 및 협업이라는 뛰어난 장점을 지니지만 그와는 반대로, 콘텐츠 무단 재활용, 무단 복사 등 저작권에 따른 문제들을 내포한다. 대표적 소셜 콘텐츠인 UCC는 제작 단계와 배포 단계에서 모두 저작권 문제가 대두되어 왔으며 이를 해결하기 위한 수단으로 CCLCreative Commons Licence) 등에 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에선 이에 대한 문제점을 인식하고 UCC의 특성을 반영한 메타데이터와 이를 관리할 수 있는 UCC 메타데이터 매니저를 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 이를 위해 콘텐츠 제작시 활용한 외부 콘텐츠를 식별하기 위한 레퍼런스 메타데이터 요소를 도출하고 유스 케이스를 기반으로 레퍼런스 메타데이터 로더R.Metadata Loader) 모듈을 정의하였다. 제안된 UCC 메타데이터 매니저는 참조된 콘텐츠에 관한 정보를 제공하고, 참조 콘텐츠간의 연관 관계를 식별할 수 있도록 함으로써, 소셜 협업 서비스 환경 내에서 실질적인 활용이 가능하다. 프로토타입 구현을 위해 오픈 소스 기반의 CMS인 칼투라를 활용하였으며 오픈 API를 사용함으로써 메타데이터 매니저의 기능적 확장 가능성을 확보하였다.

  • Value Creation issue for customers is emerging from the college education. Most colleges are facing to cope with over-supplied education facility problems against reducing population to apply to enter universities/colleges. The best way to overcome those problems might be to implement the Customer Satisfaction Management Strategy as if they were private firms for making profit. The main purpose in this study is to provide guidelines for CS strategy with a private college. It is focused on designing research plans and searching CS index. The process of this study is as follows; - Introduced the value creation strategy for customers with private colleges. - Proposed the CS management which is very important for enhancing competitive power - Evaluate various models to measure service quality and CSI for college service. - Provided some guidelines to research design of CS according to 6 customer categories. - Proposed some methodologies to apply a service quality measurement model. - Suggested a revised model from SERVPERF to adapt with college customers satisfaction. The result from this study showed that Customer Satisfaction Management would be the most important strategy to cope with confronting difficulties for private college and the revised model from SERVPERF would be an alternative solution. Further study is essential to assure the suggested model is valuable for private colleges because empirical test has not completed yet.

우리나라 바다숲의 경제적 가치 (Economic Value of Marine Forests in Korea)

  • This study is to evaluate economic value of the ecosystem service benefits of the marine forests provided to our society on the basis of the global standard valuation manual. The main results of this study are summarized as follows: First, the ecosystem service benefits of marine forests are worth 771,121,551 won per hectare for a year in Korea. Second, when evaluating value based on the services benefits of the marine forests, as resource provisioning service, the annual value of the fishery potential production amounts to 58,512,271 won per hectare. The annual value of the environmental and regulatory services is estimated to total 29,574,000 won per hectare including 546,488 won per hectare for climate regulation, 85,342 won per hectare for pollution purification, and 28,942,170 won per hectare for erosion protection. The annual value of the culture and tourinsm services is estimated to total 15,317,647 won per hectare including 5,011,765 won per hectare for skin scuba service and 10,305,882 won per hectare for sea fishing. Also, the aunnual non-use value is estimate to 637,800,000 won per hectare. Third, assuming that the value of the sea forests increases proportionally to the unit area, the marine forests can be valued at 12.7 trillion won per year based on 12,208.2 hectares of marine forests creation area and 4,272.6 hectares of natural seaweed beds. Fourth, the total economic value of the marine forests can be estimated at 244 trillion won in 2016, if the value of the marine forests permanently continues in the future by applying 5.5% of the social discount rate. The results of this study are expected to serve as a valuable information for improving awareness of the value of marine forests ecosystem and ensuring the validity of the marine forests creation policy by converting the value of the marine forests's ecosystem service into monetary units.
