In this paper, a shape-based block layout (SBL) approach is presented to solve the facility layout problem with unequal-area and fixed shapes. The SBL approach employs hybrid genetic algorithm (Hybrid-GA) to find a good solution and the concept of bay structure is used. In the typical facility layout problem with unequal area and fixed shapes, the given geometric constraints of unequal-area and fixed shapes are mostly approximated to original shape by aspect ratio. Thus, the layout results require extensive manual revision to create practical layouts and it produces irregular building shapes and too much unusable spaces. Experimental results show that a SBL model is able to produce better solution and to create more practical layouts than those of existing approaches.

We need to have a universal system for the landscape architectural profession at the national level which focuses on public facilities from an aesthetic point of view and emphasizes the landscape architectural identity and traditional idiosyncrasy in Korea society. There should be established independent official positions in governmental systems in order to work practically in the field of landscape architecture concerned with ecological and environmental stability. Professionals should be acquired and diversity maintained for administrative efficiency, so that the governmental official position could create practical need and a theoretical approach to the human needs for environmental quality and ecological stability. In order to pursue the public good, we need to establish a new community and promote a global spirit, which include an ecologically stable environment developed through professional landscape architectural harmonization. The landscape architectural profession requires a new community spirit suitable to modern society, so that the Korean people continue a tradition of cooperative control of the common wealth and the labor market.

The purposes of this study are to investigate the relationship between the Piaget’s cognitive developmental theory and the practical course subject in elementary school which have the characteristics of skillful subject and living subject, and to discriminate the suitability of contents of the practical course subject for the childrens’level of cognitive development. This work could serve the theoretical background that the practical course subject presents practical experiences which lead the development of logicomathematical thinking abilities. The results of the content analysis shows that create activities develop the logicomathematical thinking abilities such as projective geometry, topology geometry, area conservation, length & distance conservation, and volume & mass conservation. And the most contents of the practical course subject are suitable for the childrens’level of cognitive development.

Using carefully assembled sets of IDs based on the cryptographic principle of secret shares, we can create RFID tags that yield virtually no information to casual "hit-and-run" attackers, but only reveal their true ID after continuous and undisturbed reading from up-close something that can hardly go unnoticed by an item's owner. In this paper, we analyses the practical issues of cryptography for RFID privacy with lightweight method.

This research presented an extraction method of a logical database to create a design form of stream-nose. The practical use of logical database is important for the expansion of thinking area with investigation of Form to create a stream nose. Firstly, We presented apply course with the method to draw the image database as a first step of a stream-nose design. secondly, extraction method of a character-line applied the image-layered technique was an objectified. Such course is for establishing a design process to create the original form of the stream nose.

The Aesthetics of Kwanbok and Hyungbae and their Modern Applications Starting from practical purpose, kwanbok worn by government officers were developed in original and unique fashion over long time. In particular, as hyungbae (embroidered patches for kwanbok) that had been used for kwanbok has remained in existence even today, providing inspiration for a variety of design, it is bringing attention to the aesthetic value and importance of kwanbok. Under the circumstances, this study has elicited aesthetics from kwanbok and hyungbae as follows: First, they imply the wish of long life and happiness as a symbol of favorable omen and distinguish one's status according to the shape, color, and pattern. Second, kwanbok and hyungbae reveal our ancestors' naturalistic perspective in art. Third, pleats, slits and shapes in robes reveal practical aesthetics in composition. Fourth, slits in kwanbok create the aesthetics of contrast and harmony of lining and outer cloth. Modern applications of kwanbok is of value as they represent traditions and maintain the original forms, showing the image of Korea in the 21st century. Such efforts mean that they do not only make more beautiful clothes, but also create overall philosophies in life, including personal values.

If the interim disposition of the Arbitration Tribunal is not immediately enforceable, it will only give pressure to the other party concerned and the arbitration could work against him if the other party fails to implement it. If enforcement is impossible, the disposition will have no practical effect or practical benefit. In addition, if a system is contrary to its unique characteristics or nature, it will not function as a system or it will become an unnecessary decoration. There is no room for argument that the above provisions are wrong or misinterpreted if the temporary disposition in arbitration cannot be characterized by its characteristics, such as its provisionality, urgency, incidentality, or invasibility. As attracting international arbitration cases can create enormous added value for the national economy, countries are scrambling to create a mediating-friendly legal environment in their countries, and Korea has been more active in arbitration than in the past. Despite various efforts, however, attracting international arbitration cases is still a long way off. Therefore, Korea should create a mediating-friendly, legal environment to attract arbitration cases. There are many reasons why arbitration is activated internationally, but the most important of them is that it is easier to approve and execute. The use of the approval and execution of heavy court is, in turn, the most important requirement of a mediating-friendly environment. It is natural that temporary dispositions made in arbitration should be as easy to approve and enforce as in the case of arbitration. In addition, it is natural for the parties to consider the use of approval and execution when deciding where to mediate or when applying for arbitration; thus, the degree of ease of execution, along with the procedural use of arbitration or provisional disposition, will be a measure of the likelihood of hosting international arbitration cases, as well as the activation of arbitration.

The purpose of this study is to provide preliminary data on strategies to create a domestic prestige brand based on Korean traditional designs. This study also deals with how to promote this brand around the world. The two points mentioned above will be accomplished by examining the characteristics of the brand '3.1 Phillip Lim' which succeeded in both design and marketing during a short period of time. The method of the study will be followed. Firstly, the basic design and philosophical background of Phillip Lim was investigated, after reviewing the global luxury market and current status of overseas expansion of Korean designers through paper study and antecedent workups. Secondly, for the practical stage, design characteristics and marketing strategies were reviewed with the collections of '3.1 Phillip Lim'. Three factors found in '3.1 Phillip Lim's design success are as follows: First, practical and simple designs using fabrics of high quality. Second, handcraft elements and interesting details that differentiates his design identity. Third, femininity expressed in the feminine silhouette and color. The marketing elements that made '3.1 Phillip Lim' as a successful brand are: First, differentiated positioning as a luxurious contemporary brand. Second, brand promotion through various collaborations. Third, the gradual expansion of women's, men's, kids' apparel to accessory, lingerie and the stable flagship stores. Thus, '3.1 Phillip Lim' has combined modern and classic styles using high quality fabrics and practical designs with unique details. Through it's differentiated marketing strategy targeting New York's market, which prefers popular 'luxury contemporary brand's rather than high-end luxury brands, this brand's creativity and commercial aspects contributed to make '3.1 Phillip Lim' into a luxury brand that represents New York fashion. Korean designers who seek to enter the global fashion industry should consider applying Korean traditional designs on global designs to make favorable products and localize these products according to regional characteristics.

This paper presents a fast and practical motion synthesis algorithm for massive number of quadruped animals. The algorithm constructs so called speed maps that contain a set of same style motions but different speed from a single cyclic motion by using IK(Inverse Kinematics) solver. Then, those speed maps are connected each other to form a motion graph. At run time, given a point trajectory that obtained from user specification or simulators, the algorithm retrieves proper speed motions from the graph, and modifies and stitches them together to create a long seamless motion in real time. Since our algorithm mainly targets on the massive quadruped animal motions, the motion graph create wide variety of different size of characters for each trajectory and automatically adjusted synthesized motions without causing artifact such as foot skating. The performance of algorithm is verified through several experiments

Various artificial intelligence neural network models that have emerged since 2014 enable the creation of new content beyond the existing level of information discrimination and withdrawal, and the recent generative artificial intelligences such as ChatGPT and Gall-E2 create and present new information similar to actual data, enabling natural interaction because they create and provide verbal expressions similar to humans, unlike existing chatbots that simply present input content or search results. This study aims to present a model that can improve the ChatGPT communication skills of university students through curriculum research on ChatGPT, which can be participated by students from all departments, including engineering, humanities, society, health, welfare, art, tourism, management, and liberal arts. It is intended to design a way to strengthen competitiveness to embody the practical ability to solve problems through ethical attitudes, AI-related technologies, data management, and composition processes as knowledge necessary to perform tasks in the artificial intelligence era, away from simple use capabilities. It is believed that through creative education methods, it is possible to improve university awareness in companies and to seek industry-academia self-reliant courses.
