칫솔질 교육 후 치면세균막 지수와 수행도의 변화 (Variation in the Index of Dental Plaque Removal and Practice Assessment after Instruction on Toothbrushing)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내에서 권장하고 있는 회전법이 실천 용이하고 치면세균막 제거에 효과적인지 다른 칫솔질 방법과 비교해 보고, 집단칫솔질교육 후 시간흐름에 따른 효과추이를 확인하고자 임의 추출한 20대 대학생을 대상으로 O'leary 지수와 PHP 지수를 구하고 칫솔질 수행도를 조사하였다. 분석은 STATA 11.0을 이용하였다. 회전법과 바스법, 와타나베법의 칫솔질 방법에 따라 O'leary 지수와 PHP 지수 및 칫솔질 수행도가 차이가 있는지에 대해 조사하기 위해 1차부터 3차까지 평균을 비교한 결과 차이가 없었다. 칫솔질 교육 전인 1차, 칫솔질 교육 2주 후인 2차, 칫솔질 교육 4주 후인 3차의 O'leary 지수, PHP 지수 및 칫솔질 수행도의 차이를 확인하기 위해 비모수 표본자료에 사용하는 Kruskal-Wallis test를 수행한 결과 O'leary 지수의 경우 칫솔질 교육 전 측정 시 가장 낮은 점수를 기록하였고, 2차시기 측정치가 가장 높게 나타났다(p=0.0001). PHP 지수는 1차시기 가장 높게 나타났고, 2차시기 감소하였다가 3차시기 다시 증가하는 것으로 나타났다(p=0.0001). 칫솔질 수행도 역시 PHP 지수와 유사한 경향을 보였다(p=0.0001). 이상의 결과로 회전법이 모든 사람에게 획일적으로 권장할 만한 방법인지 좀 더 다각적인 고찰이 필요하고, 칫솔질 교육효과는 시간이 지나면서 감소되므로 지속적인 교육이 실행될 수 있도록 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 함을 알 수 있었다.

웹기반 건강사정 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 학습효과 (The Effect of Web-based Multimedia Contents for a Course of Physical Examination and Health Assessment)

  • Purpose: This study was to test the effectiveness of Web-based multimedia contents for Physical Examination and Health Assessment on learning achievement. Method: Multimedia contents based on Jung's teaching and learning structure model were used to enhance learning achievement. Learning achievement was measured by the knowledge of Physical Examination and Health Assessment. The participants of this study were students in a BSN and RN-BSN program in a university located in Seoul. 59 students in the experimental group received lectures using web-based multimedia contents and 75 students in the control group received regular lectures. Results: The mean score of the degree of educational achievement in the experimental group(mean=31.09) was significantly higher than in the control group(mean=25.55)(t=-3.883, p=.000). Conclusion: These web-based multimedia contents were found to maximizethe effectiveness of the teaching process when used as a teaching aid, and yet kept the strength of a face to face teaching learning method. This program is recommended as part of a main text, vital teaching aid or cyber lecture materials in nursing schools and in health care educational institutions.

Analysis of dental hygiene assessment data of recall patients (mainly 20s age)

  • 연령이 증가함에 따라 구강 즉, 치아와 치주도 노화가 시작되어 그에 따른 준비 과정이 필요하다. 그 준비과정은 20대부터 지식, 태도, 행동으로 이루어지는 구강보건교육이 이루어져 구강건강관리가 계속적으로 시작되어야 하는 중요한 시기이다. 이에 경기도에는 있는 한 치과의원에 내원하여 치료 후 구강건강관리실에서 계속관리를 받고 있는 환자들을 연구대상으로 임상치위생과정을 설계하기 위하여 치위생사정의 데이터 분석을 하고자 하였다. 치위생사정 도구로는 인적사항 및 전신병력을 기본으로 하여 치과방문경험, 치주검사(bleeding on probing; BOP), 구취검사, 위상차현미경으로 구강 세균 관찰, 치면세균막 검사(O'Leary index)를 시행하였다. 대상자의 치과방문 경험이 있는 대상자는 75.4%이고, 경험이 없는 경우는 24.6%로 나타났고, 치주검사 결과는 전반적으로 출혈이 있는 경우가 76.3%로 나타났다. 예방적 구강관리에서 20대의 치위생사정 단계는 중요한 첫 단추이다. 이 때 부터 본인의 구강상태를 스스로 책임질 수 있도록 체계적으로 습관화되어야 하는 중요한 연령이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 20대 대상자의 구강검사를 통해 치위생사정 결과를 도출해 보고 그에 따른 구강보건교육 및 구강건강 관리에 있어서 임상치위생과정 중 치과위생사의 치위생수행 능력 역량 개발에 대한 기초자료로 제시하고자 한다.

  • 불규칙파중의 선박의 운동을 해석하는 방법으로 주파수 영역해석법과 시영역해석법이 있다. 주파수영역해석법은 스펙트럴해석기법에 의해 불규칙파중 선박의 운동특성을 구하는 방법이고, 시영역해석법은 불규칙파를 생성하여 이 파를 실제의 입력으로 하여 선박의 운동을 직접 계산하는 방법이다. 보통 취급이 간편한 주파수 영역해석법이 선박의 자동조타 시스템 평가에 자주 사용되고 있으나, 본 연구에서는 주파수 영역해석법과 시영역해석법에 의한 불규칙파중의 선박의 보침운동 및 자동조타 시스템 평가를 수행하고 두 방법을 비교 검토하였다.

Pavement condition assessment through jointly estimated road roughness and vehicle parameters

  • Performance assessment of pavements proves useful, in terms of handling the ride quality, controlling the travel time of vehicles and adequate maintenance of pavements. Roughness profiles provide a good measure of the deteriorating condition of the pavement. For the accurate estimates of pavement roughness from dynamic vehicle responses, vehicle parameters should be known accurately. Information on vehicle parameters is uncertain, due to the wear and tear over time. Hence, condition monitoring of pavement requires the identification of pavement roughness along with vehicle parameters. The present study proposes a scheme which estimates the roughness profile of the pavement with the use of accurate estimates of vehicle parameters computed in parallel. Pavement model used in this study is a two-layer Euler-Bernoulli beam resting on a nonlinear Pasternak foundation. The asphalt topping of the pavement in the top layer is modeled as viscoelastic, and the base course bottom layer is modeled as elastic. The viscoelastic response of the top layer is modeled with the help of the Burgers model. The vehicle model considered in this study is a half car model, fitted with accelerometers at specified points. The identification of the coupled system of vehicle-pavement interaction employs a coupled scheme of an unbiased minimum variance estimator and an optimization scheme. The partitioning of observed noisy quantities to be used in the two schemes is investigated in detail before the analysis. The unbiased minimum variance estimator (MVE) make use of a linear state-space formulation including roughness, to overcome the linearization difficulties as in conventional nonlinear filters. MVE gives estimates for the unknown input and fed into the optimization scheme to yield estimates of vehicle parameters. The issue of ill-posedness of the problem is dealt with by introducing a regularization equivalent term in the objective function, specifically where a large number of parameters are to be estimated. Effect of different objective functions is also studied. The outcome of this research is an overall measure of pavement condition.

덕유산 국립공원내 무주리조트 골프장예정지 식물군집구조 (Plant Community Structure of Muju Resort Golf Course in T$\v{o}$kyusan National Park)

  • 본 연구는 덕유산 국립공원 설천지구내에 건설되고 있는 무주리조트 골프장예정지의 식물군집구조를 밝히고 환경영향평가서의 식물생태계부분 재평가를 위해 실시하였다. 현존식생은 소나무-신갈나무-졸참나무군집이 33.2%, 참나무류군집이 27.3%, 소나무군집이 20.7%, 고산습지가 4.9%이었으며 본 조사지 삼림은 독특한 환경조건을 이루고 있었다. 녹지 자연도는 등급 8, 9가 전체의 93%를 차지하는 안정된 생태계를 구성하고 있었으며 환경영향평가서상의 녹지자연도등급 산정과 본 조사결과와는 많은 차이를 보였다. 54개 조사구에 대한 DCA 분석에서 분리된 군집은 6개로써 소나무군집, 소나무-신갈나무군집, 소나무-졸참나무-들메나무-물박달나무군집, 신갈나무-졸참나무-소나무군집, 신갈나무-굴참나무군집, 버드나무-물박달나무군집이었고 소나무군집을 제외한 기타의 군집은 소나무$\longrightarrow$참나무류로의 생태적 천이단계에 있는 것으로 예측되었다.

조류 흐름을 고려한 해양지반 수리저항성능 실험기 개발 (Development of Apparatus for Measuring Hydraulic Resistance of Sea Ground Considering Tidal Current Flow)

  • Along with the increasing need of sea development, the hydraulic stability of seabed structure on a soft seafloor ground is becoming an issue in the course of seaside development recently. However, the movement and hydraulic resistance or hydraulic stability of seafloor ground are mutually coupled with various phenomena, and there has been no clear proof for the issue, which makes it difficult to forecast. Furthermore, most researches are focused on hydraulic variables and the conditions of marine external force, while there have been few researches into the assessment in consideration of the type of a seafloor ground and the geotechnical characteristics. In addition, according to the periodic change of the flow direction, possible changes in hydraulic resistance performance of the seafloor deserves all the recognition. But there is no way to measure the hydraulic unstability of the sea ground due to tidal flow quantitatively. In this study, conventional hydraulic resistance measurement apparatus was improved to consider direction change of the current flow. Various artificial clayey soil specimens were made from Kaolinite and Jumunjin standard sand and hydraulic resistance tests were performed by changing the flow direction to validate the effect of the direction change on the scour of the seafloor.

대학에서 문화콘텐츠 연계전공 강의와 관리에 대한 만족도 분석 (Satisfaction Analysis about Courses and Management of a Culture Content Interdisciplinary Program in a University)

  • 문화콘텐츠산업은 고부가 가치 창출 산업으로 최근 여러 대학들에서는 독립학과 신설 또는 학제간 공동과정으로 문화콘텐츠 인력양성을 추진하고 있다. 국내 J 대학 또한 2006년부터 6개 학과가 공동으로 문화콘텐츠 연계전공을 신설하여 운영하고 있다. 연계전공의 중요성에도 불구하고 지금까지 연계전공 강의나 관리에 대한 진단이나 연구가 드물다. 본 논문에서는 현재 J 대학에서 운영되고 있는 문화콘텐츠 연계전공 학생을 대상으로 연계전공 강의와 관리에 대한 만족도를 조사·분석한다. 또한, 연계전공 과목에 대한 학생들의 이해도 조사 및 교육효과성 분석을 통해 연계전공 진행에 대한 바람직한 방향을 제언한다. 이를 위해 연계전공 강의와 관리에 대한 설문을 실시하며 이를 이용하여 연계전공 과목과 진행에 대한 통계적 분석을 실시하여 문제점 진단 후, 향후 연계전공 진행방향을 제안한다.

Assessment of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Medicine Clinical Practice Using the Objective Structured Clinical Examination

  • Background: The objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) is a widely used method to assess the clinical performance of students in clinical practice. Although OSCE has been used for undergraduate students of Korean medicine, this has not been widely reported. Methods: In 2020, the practical course for acupuncture and moxibustion medicine (acupuncture, electroacupuncture, pharmacopuncture, auricular acupuncture, and burning acupuncture) was taught using flipped learning, according to clinical practice guidelines, and assessed by the OSCE. The appropriateness of this model of education and its evaluation using OSCE were evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale, and the results were analyzed. Results: Of the respondents, 67% reported that the OSCE accurately reflected their competency, and 82% reported that online video lectures helped them to improve their clinical skills. The average adequacy score of the model was > 3.7/5, and the average adequacy score of the checklist used in the OSCE was > 4.1/5 for all 5 clinical application skills. The difference in the mean self-efficacy score between students who had taken the OSCE and those students who had not taken the OSCE, was highest in the burning acupuncture group (0.923). Conclusion: This study showed that students' satisfaction with the OSCE was high and flipped learning was an effective education model. In the future, models representing the human body or simulated patients should be used to evaluate students' skills and attitude.

기본 간호학 실습교육의 현황 (A study on the Practical Education in Fundamentals of Nursing)

  • This study analyzed the practical education in fundamentals of nursing, for the 36 nursing schools including 12 4-year nursing schools and 24 junior college nursing schools. This survey was done from september 5th to october 5th in 1995. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Required credit in fundamentals of nursing. 1) The highest incidence of the total required credit was 7 in 4-year nursing school and 9 in junior college. 2) For the lecture course credit, the large number of 4-year nursing school gave 5 credit lessons and 6 credits provided in junior nursing colleges. 3) For the credit of practical education the major portion of 4-year nursing school gave 2 credits instruction, however junior nursing school provided 3 credits. 2. Laboratory practice in fundamentals of nursing. In laboratory practice, the ratio of instructor and student was 1 : 20 in 83.4% of the 4-year nursing school and in 66.7% of the junior nursing school. 3. Contents and hours of fundamental nursing practice. 1) In the area of health assessment and nursing process, the large number of schools allocated following hours : 6 hours for vital signs, 4 hours for nursing process, 2 hours for recording but practice for physical examination and communication was done in few schools. 2) In the area of functional health pattern, the large number of schools allocated practice hours like followings : 2 hours for I/O, 2 hours for gavage feeding, 2 hours for elimination, 6 hours for catheterization, 6 hours for bed making, 2 hours for positioning, 6 hours for personal hygiene, 2 hours for R.O.M, 4 hours for moving turning lifting, 2 hours for inhalation and suction. But C.P.R and terminally ill patient care were taught in smaller number of schools. 3) In the area of special nursing measures, the major portion of nursing schools allocated hours like followings. It consisted of 6 hours for asepsis, 16-18 hours for medication, 2 hours for heat and cold application, 2 hours for wound care. 4) 22.2% of the nursing schools had total review practice time and 36.1% of the nursing schools had the students clinical practice. Based on above mentioned results, 4-year nursing school had faithful practical education of fundamental nursing than junior nursing school. But for the contents and allocated hours for practice education, junior nursing schools were much more contents and hours than 4 year school.
