수출비용절감을 위한 3PL업체의 통합조직능력에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Integrated Organization Abilities in Third Party Logistics Korean Company for Reduction of Export Expense)

  • Third party logistics research is searching for increasing its logistics efficiency of organization. Perspective of resource-based theory, this study is to reveal the exploratory relation between integrated capabilities, organzaiton knowledge, and service performance. To develop the relational model, this study conducted a theoretical survey on Shang(2009)'s 3PL service providers research model and Synder & Cumming(1998)'s learning of organization knowledge. According to the result of correlation analysis, Integrated organization knowledge is positively correlated with service diversity advantage (correlation coefficient= .670, p-value= .000) and service quality advantage (correlation coefficient= .575, p-value= .000). The thesis argued that Korean companies try to apply integrated organization abilities and service performance for cutting their export expense.

  • In this paper we present the simple updating formulas for a sum of product and a sum of cross product when a new value is added on or a specific value is eliminated from the original data. The sample variance and correlation for the new data set are derived by new computing formulas. Any statistic which is a function of the sum of product and a sum of cross product also can be updated by proposed method even though the original data is not available.

NIR을 이용한 쇠고기의 신선도 센서 개발 (Development of Beef Freshness Sensor Using NIR Spectroscopy)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a real-time sensor for beef freshness. Contents of biogenic amines (BA), saccharides and proteins were highly related with freshness on the beef meats. Relations of those chemical contents and NIR spectra were studied. Tyramine showed the best correlation coefficient at 1250nm. Correlation between VBN (volatile basic nitrogen) and K value, which were both freshness measurement method, was determined by the PCR (principle component regression). The correlation model had the values of $R^2=0.989$ and SEC=1.78, respectively. The model was validated at $R^2=0.963$ and SEP=2.285, respectively.

표면 EMG신호의 상관함수를 이용한 손의 움직임 검출 (Detection of Hand Motions using Cross-correlation of Surface EMG)

  • A method of detecting the specific patterns related to hand motions using the surface EMG(electromyogram) on an arm is proposed and tested. To do this, we obtain separately modeling parameters based on the LP, Prony estimator, and calculate the latency shift value between channels by cross-correlation function. Then, the coefficients and latency shift value are applied to the detection method to classify the EMG signals related to hand motions. Compared with the conventional methods, the present method are more useful to detect the motion intention of the user as an input device in the mobile and wearable computing environments. And, We expect that the results of this study are helpful in the development of rehabilitation devices for the handicapped.

평판구조의 추계론적 유한요소해석 (Stochastic FE Analysis of Plate Structure)

  • 본 연구는 가중적분법을 이용한 추계론적 유한요소해석에 관한 것으로 구조계 내에 존재하는 재료상수와 기하학적 상수의 임의성을 해석에 고려하여 추계론적 해석을 수행하였으며 대상 구조로는 평판구조를 택하였다. 재료와 기하학적 해석인자의 임의성을 포함한 요소강성행렬의 유도를 위해서 임의장을 가장하였으며 임의장의 평균은 0이고 표준편차 값은 0.1을 사용하였다. 이러한 임의장의 특성은 auto-correlation 함수에 의해서 표현되었으며 이 함수는 반응변화도를 얻는 과정에 사용되었다. 본 연구에서는 평판의 두께에 대한 임의성을 고려하기 위해서 새로운 auto-correlation 함수가 유도되었다. 유도된 새로운 auto-correlation 함수는 재료탄성계수의 임의장 특성을 나타내는 기존의 함수와 임의장 분산 계수의 함수로 나타났다. 수치해석결과는 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교되었으며 상호 잘 일치하는 좋은 결과를 나타내었고 이들 결과는 제시된 이론적인 수렴치와도 잘 일치하였다. 평판두께에 대한 해석의 경우 역시 Lawrence의 결과는 물론 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션과 제시된 이론치와도 잘 일치하였다.

비동기식 DS/SS-CSK 통신의 개선된 초기동기 (An Improved Acquisition of the Noncoherent DS/SS-CSK)

  • 이 논문에서는 DS/SS(Direct Sequence Spread/Spectrum) 시스템에서 초기동기(aquisition)를 위해, 정합 필터의 출력중 부정합된 최대 상관값을 임계값(threshold)으로 결정하는 TDMMC(Threshold Decision from the Maximum Mismatching Correlation value) 알고리듬을 제안한다. PN코드는 주기성과 정합됐을 때의 상관값이 정합되지 않을 때의 상관값보다 크다는 성질을 가지고 있다. 기존의 방식은 위의 2가지 성질 중에서 후자에 기반을 두고 있는 반면, TDMMC는 위의 성질 둘 모두에 기반을 두고 있다. TDMMC의 궁극적인 목적은 수신기에서 신호 검파확률를 1에 가깝게 하는데 있다(Pd$\longrightarrow$1). TDMMC는 임계값 블록(threshold block)을 이용하여 S/N이 변함에 따라 적절한 임계값을 설정할 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 비동기식 DS/SS-CSK 시스템에 적용된 TDMMC는 기존의 방식에 비해 성능이 향상됨을 보여준다.

시계열 분석을 이용한 부산지역 계절식물의 개화시기 변화 (Changes of Flowering Time in the Weather Flora in Susan Using the Time Series Analysis)

  • To examine the trend on the flowering time in some weather flora including Prunus serrulata var. spontanea, Cosmos bipinnatus, and Robinia pseudo-acacia in Busan, the changes in time series and rate of flowering time of plants were analyzed using the method of time series analysis. According to the correlation between the flowering time and the temperature, changing pattern of flowering time was very similar to the pattern of the temperature, and change rate was gradually risen up as time goes on. Especially, the change rate of flowering time in C. bipinnatus was 0.487 day/year and showed the highest value. In flowering date in 2007, the difference was one day between measurement value and prediction value in C. bipinnatus and R. pseudo-acacia, whereas the difference was 8 days in P. mume showing great difference compared to other plants. Flowering time was highly related with temperature of February and March in the weather flora except for P. mume, R. pseudo-acacia and C. bipinnatus. In most plants, flowering time was highly related with a daily average temperature. However, the correlation between flowering time and a daily minimum temperature was the highest in Rhododendron mucronulatum and P. persica, otherwise the correlation between flowering time and a daily maximum temperature was the highest in Pyrus sp.

Physicochemical and Sensory Properties of Baikseolgi Incorporated with Strawberry Powders

  • Strawberry powder was incorporated into Baikseolgi by substituting the non-glutinous rice flour in the range of 0-8% based on the total weight of the non-glutinous rice flour and the effects on physicochemical and sensory properties were investigated. pH decreased significantly with the higher amount of strawberry powder in the formulation whereas titratable acidity showed a reverse trend (p<0.05). Moisture content also decreased significantly with the increasing amount of strawberry. Lightness ($L^{*}$-value) decreased significantly with higher strawberry powder concentration, indicating that the color of Baikseolgi became dark as also indicated by the visual observation. Redness ($a^{*}$-value) and yellowness ($b^{*}$-value), on the other hand, increased significantly with the substitution of strawberry powders up to 8% (p<0.05). Increases in strawberry powder concentration up to 8% in the Baikseolgi formulation significantly increased the intensities of sensory color, flavor, and taste attributes; on the other hand, the intensities of sensory moistness and chewiness decreased significantly (p<0.05). Results from the consumer test revealed that control received the highest acceptability scores in all attributes but 4% sample also obtained the competitive scores. Finally, Pearson correlation analysis revealed several very highly significant linear correlation between the means used to access physicochemical, sensory properties, and consumer preferences.

Evaluation of Thromboelastography Analysis for Treatment of Heartworm Disease in Dogs over Time: a Pilot Study

  • Thromboelastography (TEG) analysis consists of ${\alpha}$, G, K, MA, and R types of values and tests the effectiveness of blood clotting, which can be assessed for platelet function, clotting strength, and fibrinolysis. Canine heartworm diseases caused by Dirofilaria immitis, a vascular nematode, can lead to hyperfibrinolysis and hypercoagulation. In this study, G and MA values showed a statistically significant decrease over time after treatment of heartworm disease. Additionally, the ${\alpha}-value$ showed a high correlation with G, K, MA, and R values. The G value showed a high correlation with K and MA values, while The K value showed a high correlation with MA and R values. This study clearly found a gradual decrease in G and MA values in dogs with heartworm disease over time, both before and after treatment. This suggests that the clot formation time is longer and that the intensity of clot formation is lowered and may improve the risk of thromboembolism in dogs with heartworm disease.

Comparison of machine learning algorithms to evaluate strength of concrete with marble powder

  • In this paper, functionality of soft computing algorithms such as Group method of data handling (GMDH), Random forest (RF), Random tree (RT), Linear regression (LR), M5P, and artificial neural network (ANN) have been looked out to predict the compressive strength of concrete mixed with marble powder. Assessment of result suggests that, the overall performance of ANN based model gives preferable results over the different applied algorithms for the estimate of compressive strength of concrete. The results of coefficient of correlation were maximum in ANN model (0.9139) accompanied through RT with coefficient of correlation (CC) value 0.8241 and minimum root mean square error (RMSE) value of ANN (4.5611) followed by RT with RMSE (5.4246). Similarly, other evaluating parameters like, Willmott's index and Nash-sutcliffe coefficient value of ANN was 0.9458 and 0.7502 followed by RT model (0.8763 and 0.6628). The end result showed that, for both subsets i.e., training and testing subset, ANN has the potential to estimate the compressive strength of concrete. Also, the results of sensitivity suggest that the water-cement ratio has a massive impact in estimating the compressive strength of concrete with marble powder with ANN based model in evaluation with the different parameters for this data set.
