  • Data is the core of AI technology. With the development of technology, AI technology is also accelerating as the amount of data increases explosively than before. However, compared to the interest in AI education, research on data education with AI is still insufficient. According to the case analysis of exsisting AI data education, there were cases of educating the process and part of data science, but it was hard to find studies related to data collection. Cause physical computing tools have a positive effect on AI education for elementary school students, data collection cases using tools were studied, but researches related to data collection were rare. Therefore, in this study, an efficient data collection method using physical tools was designed. A structural diagram of a data collection program was created using COBL S, a modular physical computing teaching tool, and examples of program screens from the service side and the user side were configured. This study has limitations in that the establishment of an AI education platform that can be used in conjunction with future program production and programs should be prioritized as a proposal in terms of design.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the color characteristics of menswear in different cities, focusing on the Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, and London collections. To answer the research question, the sampled colors were classified according to their hues and tones for frequency analysis and cross-analysis. The results are as follows: 'Red', which appeared frequently in the S/S and F/W seasons, was a core color in menswear design, and regardless of the season, 'blackish tones' were most commonly used. The cross-analysis uncovered a significant difference in the trends of hues in the F/W season between the cities. The colors that were more frequently used among the cities were as follows: 'blue-green' in the Paris collection, 'blue' and 'purple' in the Milan collection, 'purple' and 'purple-blue' in the London collection, 'yellow' in the New York collection, and 'red' and 'green' in the Tokyo collection. This study illustrates the significance of the F/W season's use of colors in menswear design and discovered through analysis that hues, rather than tones, were used to express individuality. These results are expected to be used as basic data for the analysis of menswear design trends.

  • Genome selection is a promising tool for plant and animal breeding, which uses genome-wide molecular marker data to capture large and small effect quantitative trait loci and predict the genetic value of selection candidates. Genomic selection has been shown previously to have higher prediction accuracies than conventional marker-assisted selection (MAS) for quantitative traits. In this study, the prediction accuracy of 10 agricultural traits in the wheat core group with 567 points was compared. We used a cross-validation approach to train and validate prediction accuracy to evaluate the effects of training population size and training model. As for the prediction accuracy according to the model, the prediction accuracy of 0.4 or more was evaluated except for the SVN model among the 6 models (GBLUP, LASSO, BayseA, RKHS, SVN, RF) used in most all traits. For traits such as days to heading and days to maturity, the prediction accuracy was very high, over 0.8. As for the prediction accuracy according to the training group, the prediction accuracy increased as the number of training groups increased in all traits. It was confirmed that the prediction accuracy was different in the training population according to the genetic composition regardless of the number. All training models were verified through 5-fold cross-validation. To verify the prediction ability of the training population of the wheat core collection, we compared the actual phenotype and genomic estimated breeding value using 35 breeding population. In fact, out of 10 individuals with the fastest days to heading, 5 individuals were selected through genomic selection, and 6 individuals were selected through genomic selection out of the 10 individuals with the slowest days to heading. Therefore, we confirmed the possibility of selecting individuals according to traits with only the genotype for a shorter period of time through genomic selection.

  • The internal core baffle structure of a French Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) consists of a collection of baffles and formers that are attached to the barrel. The connections are done thanks to a large number of bolts (about 1500). After inspection, some of the bolts have been found cracked. This has been attributed to the Irradiation Assisted Stress Corrosion Cracking (IASCC). The $Electricit\acute{e}$ De France (EDF) has set up a research program to gain better knowledge of the temperature distribution, which may affect the bolts and the whole structure. The temperature distribution in the structure was calculated thanks to the thermal code SYRTHES that used a finite element approach. The heat transfer between the by-pass flow inside the cavities of the core baffle and the structure was accounted for thanks to a strong thermal coupling between the thermal code SYRTHES and the CFD code named Code_Saturne. The results for the CP0 plant design show that both the high temperature and strong temperature gradients could potentially induce mechanical stresses. The CPY design, where each bolt is individually cooled, had led to a reduction of temperatures inside the structures. A new parallel version of SYRTHES, for calculations on very large meshes and based on MPI, has been developed. A demonstration test on the complete structure that has led to about 1.1 billion linear tetraedra has been calculated on 2048 processors of the EDF Blue Gene computer.

  • Due to the rapid changes of information environment, the libraries are needed to consider not only analog resources but also digital resources for collection development policy to fit the digital age. However, the libraries have difficulties to build digital collection development policy for collecting and archiving the digital resources because different from the analog resources, characteristics of digital information resources are not contained in physical medium and not allowed ownership but remote access by licensing. Especially, national libraries that have the mission to collect, preserve and transmit knowledge and cultural heritage to the next generation face even more serious challenges. This study intends to figure out the core elements of digital collection development policy through comparison of domestic and overseas national library policies tried to overcome the difficulties.
