정량 추론과 정성 추론의 통합 메카니즘 : 주가예측의 적용 (A Mechanism for Combining Quantitative and Qualitative Reasoning)

  • The paper proposes a quantitative causal ordering map (QCOM) to combine qualitative and quantitative methods in a framework. The procedures for developing QCOM consist of three phases. The first phase is to collect partially known causal dependencies from experts and to convert them into relations and causal nodes of a model graph. The second phase is to find the global causal structure by tracing causality among relation and causal nodes and to represent it in causal ordering graph with signed coefficient. Causal ordering graph is converted into QCOM by assigning regression coefficient estimated from path analysis in the third phase. Experiments with the prediction model of Korea stock price show results as following; First, the QCOM can support the design of qualitative and quantitative model by finding the global causal structure from partially known causal dependencies. Second, the QCOM can be used as an integration tool of qualitative and quantitative model to offerhigher explanatory capability and quantitative measurability. The QCOM with static and dynamic analysis is applied to investigate the changes in factors involved in the model at present as well discrete times in the future.

원자로 노심으로 인한 노심지지동체의 동특성 변화에 관한 연구 (The Effect of the reactor core to the dynamic characteristic of core support barrel)

  • The Core Support Barrel (CSB) is a major component of Reactor Internals, and is designed to support and protect the Reactor Core. In this study, Reactor Core, Core Shroud and CSB were simplified to coaxial cylinders and then the offset of Reactor Core & Core Shroud to the dynamic characteristic of CSB was analyzed. For the beam modes, natural frequencies of the cantilevered cylinder are compared with those of the cantilevered beam. And it was found out that shear modulus must be used correctly to convert the shell model to the equivalent beam model. From the dynamic characteristics of the beam model, it was found out that natural frequencies are proportional to the length of Reactor Core & Core Shroud and inversely proportional to the mass. From the comparison with the dynamic characteristics of a beam model and a lumped-mass model it was found out that the size of lumped-mass must be determined considering both the length and the mass of Reactor Core & Core Shroud.

  • PEAT(Procedure/airspace Efficiency Assessment Tool)는 비행절차 및 공역 설계 프로그램을 이용하여 설계된 비행절차에 대해, 연료소모, 비행시간, 비행적합성, 소음분석 등의 효율성을 평가한다. 이 중 본 연구에서는 소음 분포 해석을 위한 INM(Integrate Noise Model)의 입력 자료를 생성하는 모듈을 설계하였다. 소음 분포 해석을 위한 INM 입력 파일은 항공기 기종, 소음 모델, 공항 환경, 활주로 트랙, 항공기 운항 횟수, 비행로 등에 관한 데이터를 담고 있어야 하며, 본래 파일 형태의 입력으로 구동하도록 설계되어 있지 않은 INM의 특성상 적절한 파일 형식을 만족시켜야 하는 구속조건 또한 뒤따른다. 따라서 입력될 데이터는 원래 주어진 확장성 마크업 언어(XML)에서 데이터베이스파일(DBF) 변환되도록 설계하였으며, 본 논문에서는 INM의 입력 자료를 제공하고 INM의 소음 분석 결과를 변환하여 저장하는 기능을 갖는 모듈의 설계 결과를 제시한다.

Relations among Security Models for Authenticated Key Exchange

  • Usually, key-establishment protocols are suggested in a security model. However, there exist several different security models in the literature defined by their respective security notions. In this paper, we study the relations between the security models of key establishment. For the chosen security models, we first show that some proven key-establishment protocols are not secure in the more restricted security models. We then suggest two compilers by which we can convert a key-establishment protocol that is secure in a specific security model into a key-establishment protocol that is still secure in a more restricted security model.

2D 이미지에서 3D 모델링 데이터 변환 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (Study on the 3D Modeling Data Conversion Algorithm from 2D Images)

  • In this paper, the algorithm which can convert a 2D image into a 3D Model will be discussed. The 2D picture drawn by a user is scanned for image processing. The Canny algorithm is employed to find the contour. The waterfront algorithm is proposed to find foreground image area. The foreground area is segmented to decompose the complex shapes into simple shapes. Then, simple segmented foreground image is converted into 3D model to become a complex 3D model. The 3D conversion formular used in this paper is also discussed. The generated 3D model data will be useful for 3D animation and other 3D contents creation.

정면밀링가공에서 쟁기력을 고려한 3차원 절삭력 모델링 (A Mechanistic Model for 3 Dimensional Cutting Force Prediction Considering Ploughing Force in Face Milling)

  • Cutting force is obtained as a sum of chip removing force and ploughing force. Chip removing force is estimated by multiplying specific cutting pressure by cutting area. Since ploughing force is caused from dullness of a tool, its magnitude is constant if depth of cut is bigger than a certain value. Using the linearity of chip removing force to cutting area and the constancy of ploughing force regardless of depth of cut which is over a certain limit each force is separated from measured cutting force and used to establish cutting force model. New rotation matrix to convert the measured cutting force in reference axes into the forces in cutter axes is obtained by considering that tool angles are projected angles from cutter axes to reference axes.. Spindle tilt is also considered far the model. The predicted cutting force estimated from the model is in good agreement with the measured force.

  • We derive discrete time model of the geometric fractional Brownian motion. It provides numerical pricing scheme of financial derivatives when the market is driven by geometric fractional Brownian motion. With the convergence analysis, we guarantee the convergence of Monte Carlo simulations. The strong convergence rate of our scheme has order H which is Hurst parameter. To obtain our model we need to convert Wick product term of stochastic differential equation into Wick free discrete equation through Malliavin calculus but ours does not include Malliavin derivative term. Finally, we include several numerical experiments for the option pricing.

  • This paper presents an extended EMQ model which determines an optimal production quantity for a single stage production system when defective items are stochastically produced in the production process and they are re-processed in the rework process to convert them into non-defectives. Through the mathematical modeling, an optimal solution minimizing the average cost per unit time and minimum average cost as well as some properties are derived. It can be shown that each of the existing models is a special case of the proposed model under some conditions. Numerical experiment is carried out to examine the behavior of the proposed model and support properties derived.

STEP을 근거로 한 선체화물창부 구조 데이터 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ship Cargo Hold Structure Data Model Based on STEP)

  • In this study, a pseudo ship structure data model for the :.hip cargo hold structure based on STEP is proposed. The proposed data model is based on Application Reference Model of AP218 Ship Structure which is the model that specifies conceptual structures and constraints used to describe the information requirements of an application. And the proposeddata model refers the Ship Common Model framework for the model architecture which is the basis for ongoing ship AP development within the ISO ship-building group and the ship product definition information model of CSDP research project for analyzing the relationship between ship structure model entities. The proposed data model includes Space, Compartment. Ship Structural System, Structural Part and Structural Feature of cargo hold. To generate this data model schema in EXPRESS format, ‘GX-Converter’was used which enables user to edit a model in EXPRESS format and convert schema file in EXPRESS format. Using this model schema, STEP physical file containing design data for ship cargo hold data structure was generated through SDAI programming. The another STEP physical file was also generated containing geometry data of ship cargo hold which was extracted and calculated by SDAI and external surface/surface intersection program. The geometry information of ship cargo hold can be then transferred to commercial CAD system, for example, Pro/Engineer. Examples of the modification of the design information are also Presented.

  • 최근 들어 3D데이터의 필요성이 대두되면서 여러 콘텐츠가 개발되고 있다. 2D image를 3D로 변환하기 위해 Canny 에지 검출알고리즘을 이용하였다. 이와 같은 3D 모델로 제작한 데이터는 3D 애니메이션이 가능하므로 과학관 등의 전시실에 활용 할 수 있다.
