Asian countries have been striving for economic integration for decades. This effort may lead to the convergence of income level through externalities across countries. This paper investigates whether the convergence phenomenon holds for income levels in Asian countries for the periods between 1975-2015 applying the traditional methodology of ${\sigma}-$ and ${\beta}-convergence$. Although the absolute ${\beta}-convergence$ of income levels in Asian and ASEAN+3 countries do hold, ${\sigma}-convergence$ and conditional ${\beta}-convergence$ of income level generally do not exist. This suggests that the benefits of economic integration in Asian countries were not yet realized to be significant. A plausible explanation is that the economies of Asian countries are largely based on low trade openness and a high level of informal economy.

Ultimately, this research will focus on the activity traits of future customers in the convergence age. To accomplish that, firstly, researcher develop measures for assessing the convergence level of digital devices and digital services. Next, this will investigate the behavioral traits of people who use specific devices or services on the internet or mobile networks. This study proposed five convergence measures each for devices and services. For digital devices, measures such as converged functions, accessibility to network, portability, immediate communicability, and expandibility of functions were utilized. For digital measures such as scope of users, newness, social network level, ease-of use on mobile networks, and expandibility of information were used. We believe that the research results can provide insights for those wishing to explore the convergence level of devices and services and those developing high-level converged devices and digital services.

Many control schemes have been proposed for flow-level traffic control. However, flow-level traffic control is implemented only in limited areas such as traffic monitoring and traffic control at edge nodes. No clear solution for end-to-end architecture has been proposed. Scalability and the lack of a business model are major problems for deploying end-to-end flow-level control architecture. This paper introduces an end-to-end transport architecture and a scalable control mechanism to support the various flow-level QoS requests from applications.

The purpose of this study are as follows. First, to analyze digital convergence level of convergence generation to demographic variables. This research focus on the economic activity as consumer and producer traits of future customers in the convergence age. We assess level of convergence for digital devices and services respectively by questionnaire survey and interview for 14 professions. And then, for evaluating convergence level and usage of digital services of each respondents, we conducted the questionnaire survey for 343 samples. Findings of our research hold that the group who showed higher level of convergence tends to use the socialized digital services more. Convergence generation were heavy users in appstore on smart-phone and wireless game and more participating. In digital service area, facebook/cyworld, twitter, UCC, portal, internet community in digital service. Convergence generation are global network communication, buying decision making activity, actively opinion expression, prosumer attitude, dependency on digital device, experience based purchase behavior, enthusiastic information sharing.

Industry convergence is the inexorable trend, which has become a fundamental concept to understand the industrial dynamics and to develop business strategies. However, most of the previous studies on convergence have dealt with the issues at the macro-level (technology- or industry-level), little attention has been paid to the analysis of convergence at the micro level (firm-level). Recognizing that firms are the principal agents that develop fusion technologies, it is encouraged to help firms to work together for technology convergence. Therefore, this research proposes a collaboration model for SMEs, since SMEs tend to have novel ideas and are flexible enough to make fusion-technology. To do this, we conducted a survey for Korean SMEs and analyzed their successful cases of collaboration, which was used as a basis to develop the model. The research results will help develop strategy or policy to promote the collaboration between SMEs and ultimately to make a fusion-technology.

In this paper, we propose 'a self - conformance system of convergence security provider' to provide basic data for security and reliability of convergence industrial technology, system and service. It is difficult to evaluate convergence security systems, limited to information and communication service providers, unable to check convergence security items, burden of submission documents, difficulty in measuring convergence security service level and we will summarize product and service-based requirements that can be integrated and systematically measure the level of convergence security and define renewed life cycle-based convergence security information and content security and assurance requirements. On the basis of this, each convergence security company declares conformity with the standard itself without the certification of the certification body, and introduces the provider conformity certification system which can manufacture and sell. This will enable the company to strengthen its competitiveness through timely launch and implementation of products and services and cost reduction.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational safety and health management activities on safety and health performance by using the results of safety activity level evaluation of public organizations. To this end, a research model was established by using three fields as independent variables among the four areas of the safety activity level evaluation index: safety and health system, safety and health activity plan, and safety and health activity level, and the safety and health activity performance field as a dependent variable. Correlation analysis and regression analysis between major variables were performed. As a result of the correlation analysis, the safety and health activity performance had a significant positive (+) correlation with all of the safety and health system, safety and health activity plan, and safety and health activity level. The safety and health system had a significant positive (+) correlation with the safety and health activity plan and safety and health activity level, and the safety and health activity plan had a significant positive (+) correlation with the safety and health activity level. And as a result of the regression analysis, it was found that the organization's safety and health system, safety and health activity plan, and safety and health activity level all had a significant positive (+) effect on safety and health activity performance.

In this paper, we have studied a dimming level control method to satisfy both lighting and communication performance in visible light communication system. In the case of the most commonly used OOK and RZ-OOK modulation schemes, continuous Burst Zero Duration will seriously degrade the lighting function. This causes not only the illumination but also the performance of the entire system to deteriorate. Through this study, we analyzed the dimming level characteristics of the existing system and proposed the Illegal Pulse Insertion (IPI) algorithm as a technique to increase the dimming level. Through this, it is possible to effectively control the dimming level and improve the QoS of both lighting and communication by resolving the flicker phenomenon and dimming level reduction in the existing modulation and demodulation system.
