  • It is common that the process capability fluctuates as time passes, but concentrates to the mean value. To keep up process capability with given limits is vital to stability of process. Various control charts, especially ${\sigma}-chart$, have been used for analyzing process capability, but It sometimes can not give distinct answer. So this paper introduces another analyzing method by ARMA (autoregressive moving average) which is originally developed for forecasting, and demonstrates the analyzing methodology through a case study.

  • RAON은 우라늄과 같은 무거운 이온을 가속시키는 한국형 중이온 가속기로서 현재 양산에 필요한 실험 시설이 구축되고 있다. 이온원을 생성하고 생성된 중이온 빔을 손실 없이 가속시키기 위해서는 빔의 경로인 입사기장치, 가속장치, 실험장치에서 요구하는 최적의 진공 설계가 이루어져야 하며, 이를 제어하기 위해 진공 기기들과의 데이터 통신 및 기기를 보호하기 위한 인터록 로직을 구성하여야 한다. RAON의 진공부 인터록 로직 및 제어 시퀀스는 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)으로 구성되며, Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) 환경에 통합되어 중앙 제어 시스템에서 관리됨과 동시에 Control System Studio (CSS)를 통해 모니터링 될 것이다. 이를 위해서는 CSS 및 PLC 와 데이터를 송수신할 수 있는 EPICS IOC를 구성하여야 한다. 본 문서에서는 진공 기기들의 정보를 로컬 PLC에서 수집하고, 진공 상태 및 진공 기기들의 작동을 위한 User Interface (UI) 및 EPICS IOC를 구성하는 방법에 대해 논의할 것이다. 진공부 제어 사전 테스트를 위해 프로토 타입 진공 제어 시스템을 구성하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 추후 최적화 된 RAON의 진공 제어 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • In the phase-shift measurement method, the distance light travels can be obtained based on the phase difference between the reference signal and the measured signal. When the object having various colors is measured, the intensity of the measured signal much varies even at the same distance, and it causes different phase delay due to wide dynamic range input to a signal processing circuit. In this work, an measured intensity control method is proposed to solve this phase delay problem.

  • The purpose of this study is to bring out the optimal design factors which effect on dynamic characteristics in the design of proportional flow control valve with high response characteristics, and to verify the validity of the design factors. In this study, force feedback type flow control valve with nozzle-flapper is studied. And, the influences which fixed orifice, nozzle diameter, and maximum displacement between nozzle and flapper effect on dynamic characteristics are analyzed. We have done simulations using the optimal design factors and simulink(Matlab) as a simulation tool, and verified the validity of our simulations by means of comparison our simulation results with an experimental results of another similar valve.

  • 본 논문은 차량 간 통신을 이용해 차량 간 거리를 줄임으로써 도로의 용량을 증가시키기 위한 효과적인 방법을 제공한다. 차량 간 거리는 차량의 제동능력에 의해 결정된다. 편대운항시스템의 차량 간 통신을 이용해 제동능력에 관련된 계수를 공유함으로써 서로간의 제동거리를 알 수 있다. 따라서 서로의 제동능력을 확인 후 차량 간 최소 거리를 측정하여 도로의 용량을 증가시킬 수 있다.

  • As XML is more proliferate as a data type between internet programs, automatic generation methods of user input form interfaces get more attention. Recently, generating user interfaces for web application or web service clients become very popular. In this paper, we study the method of automatic generation for XForms-based user interface codes based on XML structure definitions in DTD. With the repetitive edit action model, we present a formal generation method of Input form codes and the overall user interface pages. For the generated code is using XForms as a target language, the result is clear and efficient with the MVC structure. Also, we have developed XFormsGen system which implements the proposed method over the Orbeon presentation server.

  • This paper describes an study electric injection system for diesel engines. It is needed effective fuel injection which controls the solenoid valve of fuel pump. To solve this, this paper proposes DCC-PWM method which can realize fast reply and low holding current for solenoid valve on/off. For the proposed design method, simulation tools of ACSL are used to analyze the system. And the single-chip microcomputer is used to reduce the size of controller and to improve flexibility. And the systems validity can be verified through the experimental results.

A Clock and Data Recovery Circuit with Adaptive Loop Bandwidth Calibration and Idle Power Saved Frequency Acquisition

  • This paper presents a clock and data recovery circuit with an adaptive loop bandwidth calibration scheme and the idle power saved frequency acquisition. The loop bandwidth calibration adaptively controls injection currents of the main loop with a trimmable bandgap reference circuit and trains the VCO to operate in the linear frequency control range. For stand-by power reduction of the phase detector, a clock gating circuit blocks 8-phase clock signals from the VCO and cuts off the current paths of current mode D-flip flops and latches during the frequency acquisition. 77.96% reduction has been accomplished in idle power consumption of the phase detector. In the jitter experiment, the proposed scheme reduces the jitter tolerance variation from 0.45-UI to 0.2-UI at 1-MHz as compared with the conventional circuit.

The Development and Evaluation of an Incontinence Intervention Program for the Elderly Women at Elderly Welfare Center

  • Purpose. The elderly with UI experienced urine leakage for a long time. The prevalence of UI has increased and it makes costly. Particularly, the elderly were reluctant to visit a hospital or a clinic for the reasons of modesty and poverty. To solve this problem, incontinence intervention programs should be provided at the elderly welfare center. The purpose of this research was to develop Incontinence Intervention Program for the Elderly Women (IIPE) and evaluate in its effect. Methods. The study design was quasi-experimental with pre and post-test. The study was performed for ten weeks at one elderly welfare center, Seoul, Korea. The subjects were gathered through an official announcement and informed consent was obtained. IIPE, in this study, was consisted of diagnosis, education, exercise and evaluation. The study variables were PFM exercise adherence, pelvic muscle strength, Continence self-efficacy, geriatric depression and incontinence stress. The effects of the IIPE on PFM exercise adherence, pelvic muscle strength, Continence self-efficacy, geriatric depression and incontinence stress were also evaluated. Results. The mean age of the subjects was 75.2 years. The average attendance was 6.2 times. The IIPE improved PFM exercise adherence, intra-vaginal contraction power and CSE significantly. But it was not significant in incontinence stress and geriatric depression. Other important results were that the two-finger test and urine stream interruption were more useful for elderly women with rigid vaginas in teaching and evaluating. Conclusion. The Findings suggest that IIPE is effective to the community-residing elderly. Further investigation is needed on a long-term basis with control group.
