Digital State Feedback Current Control using the Pole Placement Technique

  • A digital state feedback control method for the current mode control of DC-DC converters is proposed in this paper. This approach can precisely achieve interleaved current sharing among the converter modules. As the controller design and system analysis are performed in the time domain, the proposed method can easily satisfy the required converter specification by using the pole placement technique. The digital state feedback controller in the continuous and discrete time domain is derived for the robust tracking control. For the verification of the proposed control scheme, a parallel module bi-directional converter in a prototype 42V/14V hybrid automotive power system, which is a design example in the continuous time domain, and a parallel module buck converter, which is a design example in the discrete time domain, are implemented using a TMS320F2812 digital signal processor (DSP).

  • A data base design framework for predictive a preventive-maintenance system is presented in this paper in order to effectively control machines and reduce accident rates in the workplace. The data base is designed to meet general management requirements to evaluate different maintenance strategies. There are seven data files: the equipment list maintenace pesonnel, maintenance history, maintenance specification, spare part, maintenance equipment, and maintenance schedules. Each data base file has several record based upon data acquisition.

  • A Markov Chain Monte Carlo method with data augmentation is developed to compute the features of the posterior distribution. This data augmentation approach facilitates the specification of the transitional measure in the Markov Chain. Bayesian analysis of the mixture exponential model discusses using the Gibbs sampler. Parameter and reliability estimators are obtained. A numerical study is provided.

  • In this paper, a design method of controller which incorporates pole restriction into implicit self tuning algorithm is proposed. The idea behind pole restriction is that the closed loop poles of the system are restricted to a user-chosen circle in the region to meet maximum percentage overshoot and settling time specification. Most algorithm based on pole restriction are explicit schemes involving a parameter estimation and synthesis stage to obtain controller parameters. The object of this paper is to have an algorithm that has the idea of pole restriction and the simplicity of the implicit approach.

  • This paper present the brief generation process of system requirements or mart UAV from a development obejective. The current Snart UAV requirements deal with the restricted life cycle from development to test and verification exclusive of full life cycle beacuse of the new technology demonstration research program funded by goverments. The Smart UAV system consists of flight vechicle, avionics, communication link, payload, ground control stationand ground supporting system. In thus paper, top-down flown requirememts are intoduced how to allocate to each sub-system.

  • In a SDH network, one of the most important issues is the realization of network synchronization. In this paper, we presented the relationship between parameters and control algorithm of DP-PLL for design in a SDH based time, SSM processing time, PJE counter and reference switching time, and analyzed phase transients for one node and mutiple nodes through our simulation results with a standard specification. We suggested suitable design method of SDH-DP-PLL.

  • 시스템의 안전성을 평가하기 위해 프롤로그 기반의 명세 언어인 SPSL을 사용하여 보안 모델을 정형적으로 설계하였다. 보안 모델은 시스템의 3가지 컴포넌트, 시스템 보안 상태(system security states), 접근 통제 규칙(access control rules), 그리고 보안 기준(security criteria)으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 NTFS의 다중 사용 권한에 대한 보안 모델을 만들어서 3가지 컴포넌트를 명세하고 안전성 문제 해결 도구인 SPR[1]을 이용하여 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, we have designed a home network system based on WIPI. WIPI (Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) is the standard specification for the mobile platform made by the Mobile Platform Special subcommittee of the Korea Wireless Internet Standardization Forum(KWISP). The system consists of three parts - a server, client, and simulator, and all parts are developed with JAVA. People can control household appliances anytime, anywhere by using cell phones which can use the wireless Internet, so the system offers convenience to people.

  • The previous results on LTR methods for time delay systems need the solution of the operator-type Riccati equation. In addition, it can be difficult to make the target loop shape representing the design specification. This paper proposes a new LTR method for input-delayed systems using well-established LTR method for non-delay systems. For doing this, a time delay margin is derived and the time delay of the input-delayed systems is assumed less than equal to the time delay margin. A simple example is presented for illustrations.

  • AC to DC single phase PWM converter for traction application requires rated high power and voltage. Therefor, series or parallel operation converters are necessary with considering the limitation of the power device specification. This paper compares the characteristic between two parallel operation of conventional PWM converter and Single phase three level converter about comparison of power circuit, cooling system control method and harmonic current by computer simulation.
