Objectives : The quotation of Seongyeong found in the chapter of danjeonyusam in Donguibogam uses a type of allocation of Gi(氣), Sin(神), and Jeong(精) each in Upper, Middle and Lower, three Danjeon, that is different from the type was widely accepted at the time. The paper attempts to interpret this in a new way. Methods : The paper collected the understanding of Jeong-Gi-Sin found in the Korean medicine based on Naedan Theory of Taoism, and tried to approach and structurally analyze the contents of Seongyeong, Ojinpyeonju, and Hwanggeuggyeongseseo found in Donguibogam's danjeonyusam. Results : The control of the body by Gi stored in Upper Danjeon is related to brain function, control of Gi at Lower Danjeon which preserves Jeong in Kidney is related to proliferation of Original Qi from kidney region throughout the body by triple energizers. Sin located at Middle Danjeon is contrasted with Jeong in Lower Danjeon, and Sin controls activity of life in the part between body and Gi. Conclusions : A new understanding on the assignment of Jeong-Gi-Sin in Seongyeong is possible, and it is expected to contribute to the future study of Korean Medicine and Taoism.

Objectives : The purpose of this report is to inform readers of the important aspects of about acupuncture and the process of Hwangjenaegyeong Yongchu. Methods : We researched the word 'acupuncture' through Hwangjenaegyeong Youngchu. We formed three categories according to the meanings of the key aspects of acupuncture in each sentence. Results : In Hwangjenaegyeong Youngchu, the meanings of the key aspects of acupuncture (刺鍼之要) are follows : 1. The key aspect of acupuncture(刺鍼之要) is to control Gi & Sin(調氣治神). 2. Before administering acupuncture, a doctor must know Meridian, acu-points, contraindication of nature, Bo-sa acupuncture(補瀉), Deug Gi(得氣), the role of the acupuncture needle(官鍼), the number of the needle, Gi & condition of patients, and pulse diagnosis. 3. For acupuncture, there are several things to be aware of : contraindication of acupuncture, deleteriousness of acupuncture, acu-points, and Bo-sa acupuncture(補瀉).

Conventional multilayer feedforward artificial neural networks are very effective in dealing with spatial problems. To deal with problems with time dependency, some kinds of memory have to be built in the processing algorithm. In this paper we show how the newly proposed Serial Input Neuron (SIN) convolutional decoders can be derived. As an example, we derive the SIN decoder for \ulcornerrate code with constraint length 3. The SIN is tested in Gaussian channel and the results are compared to the results of the optimal Viterbi decoder. A SIN approach to decode convolutional codes is presented. It is indispensable to control the service traffic for maximizing the advantages of ATM. This paper introduces the scheme of the an ATM traffic control and investigates the UPC(Usage Parameter Control) algorithms of the ATM-traffic. We have extracted the considerations on UPC algorithms and described the definition of the performance. We also have searched the way to choose the most appropriate UPC method considering the UPC's environments. As a result, we proposed the reliable UPC method that is applicable to B-ISDN, based on the comparison of the performance and the implementation of each.

NAND flash 메모리의 집적도를 높이기 위한 주요 기술로, 데이터가 저장되는 cell 자체의 크기를 줄여주는 미세 공정화와 cell 당 저장되는 정보량을 늘려주는 멀티-레벨(multi-level)화가 사용되고 있다. 이러한 기술의 적용은 NAND flash 메모리 자체의 오류를 증가시키게 되므로, NAND flash 메모리 기반 데이터 저장 장치의 신뢰성을 높은 수준으로 유지하기 위해서는 우수한 정정 능력을 갖는 ECC(error control code) 를 사용하는 것이 필수적이다. 본고에서는 NAND flash 메모리의 신뢰성 특성과 함께 NAND flash 메모리를 사용하는 데이터 저장 장치에서의 ECC의 응용에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

A real-time HVAC system is proposed which implements real-time control of thermal environment for virtual reality. It consists of a pair of hot and cold loops that serve as thermal reservoirs, and a mixing box to mix hot and cold air streams flowing if from loops. Their flow rates are controlled in real-time to meet a set temperature and flow rate. A cascade control algorithm along with gain scheduling is applied to the system and test results shows that the closed-loop response approached set values within 3 to 4 seconds.
