The hydraulic loading system real-time simulator using a PC and I/O interface board is developed to simulate the dynamic characteristics of hydraulic loading system in real time. The simulator receives the digital on-off control signals generated by the operator through the D/I channels, updates the state and output variables of the hydraulic loading system responding to the input signals and draw the moving pictuters of the lift cylinder, lift arm and loading box on the PC monitor in real time. Also, the operator can observe the displacement and pressure of cylinder, the rotatinal angle, reaction force, and safety factors of lift arm representing the operation of hydraulic loading system through the PC monitor in real time. The real-time simulator can be a very useful tool to design industrial dynamic systems and feel the goodness of the system operation since the operator can observe the moving pictures of the operating system in real time as he operates the real time simulator.

When a force impulse acting on a massive and plex object is measured with a dynamometer, be resonant vibration of the measurement system often leads to serious inaccuracies. A more accurate measurement is obtained when the transfer function ,of the object-dynamometer system is used to compensate for the error in the dynamometer's output signal. The natural frequency and the damping coefficient of the transfer function are estimated by analyzing the waveform of the free damped vibration period after the loading of the force has ended. The residue of the system is determined such that the compensated force spectrum becomes smooth within a neighborhood of the natural frequency. The effectiveness of this signal processing method is experimentally tested on a hammer impulse, under the assumption that the hammer's high resonant frequency accurately models the problems encountered in force impact measurement. The compensation method is used to derive a improved estimate of the hammer impulse.
This study was carried using the new approach method to design appropriately the Loading Arm length and the alarm setting according to ship movements on Loading and Unloading marine Berth. The quasi-static mooring analysis was performed to estimate 110,000DWT ship's movements based on environmental conditions such as wind, current and wave. The mooring motion of the ship is very important to determine the loading arm scope, and in this case, the operation condition is performed on the ship without considering the damaged condition of the mooring line because the ship movement in case of damage is larger than intact, and all operations are stopped, the loading arm being released due to control system. From the result of mooring analysis, motion displacements, velocities and accelerations were simulated. They were used to simulate the maximum drifting speeds and distances. The maximum drifting speeds were checked to be satisfied within drifting speed limits. The total maximum drifting distances were simulated with alarm steps of the new approach method. Finally, the loading arm envelopes using the total maximum drifting distances were completed. Therefore, it was confirmed that the new approach method for loading arm envelopes and alarm settings was appropriate from the above results. In the future, it will be necessary to perform the further advanced dynamic mooring analysis instead of the quasi-static mooring analysis and to use the precise computer program analysis for various environments and ship movement conditions.
In this study, a restoring viscous damper is introduced for X-type damper system which is designed for the seismic response control of large spatial structures. A nonlinear numerical model for its behavior is developed using the result of dynamic loading tests. The X-type damper system is composed of restoring viscous dampers and connecting devices such as adjustable wire bracing, where the damping capacity of the system is controllable by changing the number of the dampers. The restoring viscous damper is devised to exert main damping force in tension direction, which is effective to prevent the buckling of bracing subjected to compressive axial force. To evaluate the performance of the proposed damper, dynamic cyclic loading tests are performed by using manufactured dampers at full scale. In order to construct the numerical model of the damper system, its model parameters are first identified using a nonlinear curve fitting method with the test data. The numerical simulations are then performed to validate the accuracy of the numerical model in comparison with the experimental test results. It is expected that the proposed system is effectively applicable to various building structures for seismic performance enhancement.
In the maritime container terminal, LMTT (Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology) is horizontal transfer system for the yard automation, which has been proposed to take the place of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle). The system is based on PMLSM (Permanent Magnetic Linear Synchronous Motor) that is consists of stator modules on the rail and shuttle car (mover). Because of large variant of mover's weight by loading and unloading containers, the difference of each characteristic of stator modules, and a stator module's trouble etc., LMCPS (Linear Motor Conveyance Positioning System) is considered as that the system is changed its model suddenly and variously. In this paper, we will introduce the soft-computing method of a multi-step prediction control for LMCPS using DR-FNN (Dynamically-constructed Recurrent Fuzzy Neural Network). The proposed control system is used two networks for multi-step prediction. Consequently, the system has an ability to adapt for external disturbance, cogging force, force ripple, and sudden changes of itself.

Recently, consumers who prefer contactless consumption are increasing due to pandemic trends such as Corona 19. This is the driving force for developing the last mile-based logistics ecosystem centered on the online e-commerce market. Lastmile led to the continued development of the logistics industry, but increased the amount of cargo in urban area, and caused social problems such as overcrowding of logistics. The courier service in the logistics base area utilizes the process of visiting the delivery site directly because the courier must precede the loading work of the cargo in the truck for the delivery of the ordered product. Currently, it's carried out as automated logistics equipment such as conveyor belt in unloading or classification stage, but the automation system isn't applied, so the work efficiency is decreasing and the intensity of the courier worker's labor is increased. In particular, small-scale courier workers belonging to the sub-terminal unload at night at underdeveloped facilities outside the city center. Therefore, the productivity of the work is lowered and the risk of safety accidents is exposed, so robot-based loading technology is needed. In this paper, we have derived the top-level concept and requirements of robot-based loading system to increase the flexibility of logistics processing and to ensure the safety of courier drivers. We defined algorithms and motion concepts to increase the cargo loading efficiency of logistics sub-terminals through the requirements of end effector technology, which is important among concepts. Finally, the control technique was proposed to determine and position the load for design input development of the automatic conveyor system.

In this paper, we will introduce the soft-computing method of a multi-step prediction control for LMCS using DR-FNN(Dynamically Constructed Recurrent Fuzzy Neural Network). The Mobile Harbor(MH) is a new transportation platform that can load and unload containers to and from very large container ships in the sea. This loading and unloading by crane can be performed with only very small movements of the MH in waves because MH is operated outside of the harbor. For this reason, an anti-rolling tank(ART) and an active mass driving system(AMD) were designed to reduce MH's roll motion, especially at the natural frequency of MH. In the conceptual design stage, it is difficult to confirm the design result of theses anti-rolling devices without modeling and simulation tools. Therefore, the coupled MH and anti-rolling devices' dynamic equations in waves were derived and a simulation program that can analyze the roll reduction performance in various conditions, such as sea state, wave direction, and so on, was developed. The coupled equations are constructed as an eight degrees of freedom (DOF) motion that consists of MH's six DOF dynamics and the ART's and AMD's control variables. In order to conveniently include the ART's and AMD's control dynamics in the time domain, MH's radiated wave force was described by an impulse response function derived by the damping coefficient obtained in the frequency domain, and wave exciting forces such as Froude-Krylov force and diffraction force and nonlinear buoyancy were calculated at every simulation time interval. Finally, the roll reduction performances of the designed anti-rolling devices were successfully assessed in the various loading and wave conditions by using a developed simulation program.
In this paper, we examine the displacement characteristics of the parallel leaf spring mechanism with large-deflective elastic hinges, and the validity of this mechanism as a translational and rotational mechanism is confirmed with multi-input system. This study is focused on the linear driving force as an input force, which is applied to the large-deflective elastic mechanism, and the displacement characteristics are discussed with theoretically and experimentally. The motions of this mechanism due to large-deflective hinges are changed by the position of loading force regardless of a single driving force. The numbers of degree of freedom are increased with the hinges, and we can be used to a multiple driving force in order to obtain many types of Output.
