Recently, the frequency of unexpecting heavy rains has been increased due to abnormal climate and extreme rainfall. There was a limit to analyze one dimension or two dimension stream flow of domestic rivers that was applied simple momentum equation and fixed energy conservation. Therefore, hydrodynamics flow analysis in rivers has been needed three dimensional numerical analysis for correct stream flow interpolation. In this study, CFD model on FLOW-3D was applied to stream flow analysis, which solves three dimension RANS(Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes Equation) control equation to find out physical behavior and the effect of hydraulic structures. Numerical simulation accomplished those results was compared by using turbulence models such as $k-{\backepsilon}$, RNG $k-{\backepsilon}$ and LES. Those numerical analysis results have been illustrated to bends and junctions by the turbulence energy effects, velocity of flow distributions, water level pressure distributions and eddy flows.
In this paper, our main issue is that establishing the control procedure of continuous gas flow rate according to combustion fan RPM. For this, first, we decide the optimum operating condition of gas swirl burner through analysis of combustion characteristics - thermal efficiency, combustion efficiency and exhaust gases such as CO, $CO_{2}$, $O_{2}$, $NO_{x}$ and THC. Second, fuel gas flow rate of gas valve is decided with considering excess air ratio and combustion fan RPM is decided by the target of combustion air flow rate. Finally, experimental operating equation is acquired by regression for gas valve and combustion fan. This equation is the control equation of continuous gas flow rate and always gas flow rate is decided by combustion fan operating RPM.

This paper presents some examples of active control of flow-induced vibration using piezoelectric actuators. The flutter phenomenon, which is the dynamic instability of structure due to mutual interaction among inertia, stiffness, and aerodynamic forces, may cause catastrophic structural failure, and therefore the active flutter suppression is one of the main objectives of the aeroelastic control. Active flutter control has been numerically and experimentally studied for swept-back lifting surfaces using piezoelectric actuation. A finite element method, a panel aerodynamic method, and the minimum state space realization are involved in the development of the governing equation, which is efficiently used for the analysis of the system and design of control laws with modern control framework. The active control suppressed flow-induced vibrations and extended the flutter speed around by 10%. Another representative flow-induced vibration phenomenon is the oscillation of blunt bodies due to the vortex shedding. In general, it is quite difficult to set up the numerical model because of the strong non-linearity of the vortex shedding structure. Therefore, we applied adaptive positive position feedback controller, which requires no pre-determined model of the plant, and successfully suppressed the flow-induced vibration.
The HANARO, a multi-purpose research reactor of 30 MWth open-tank-in-pool type, has been under normal operation since its initial criticality In February, 1995. Many experiments should be safely performed to activate the utilization of the HANARO. A flow simulation facility is being developed for the endurance test of reactivity control units for extended life times and the verification of structural integrity of those experimental facilities prior to loading in the HANARO. This test facility is composed of three major parts; a half-core structure assembly, flow circulation system and support system. The flow circulation system is composed of a circulation pump, a core flow pipe, a core bypass flow pipe and instruments. The system is to be filled with de-mineralized water and the flow should be met the design flow to simulate similar flow characteristics in the core channel of the half-core test facility to the HANARO. This paper, therefore, describes an analytical analysis to study the flow behavior of the system. The computational flow analysis has been performed for the verification of system pressure variation through the three-dimensional analysis program with standard k-$\epsilon$ turbulence model and for the verification of the structural piping integrity through the finite element method. The results of the analysis are satisfied the design requirements and structural piping integrity of flow circulation system.

Electromagnetic control valves have been used for almost 20 years. As the solenoid modulating technology advances, its applications are extending to various industrial fields such as nuclear and fossil fuel power plants, chemical plants and refineries. Proportional solenoid valve for large flow control is designed with two-stage configuration to meet the required actuating force on the main disc and its position is stabilized by the self-controlled system. In this research, main disc dynamics is analyzed with linearized system model which is derived from the mathematical equations describing its nonlinear behavior. Major design parameters of the valve control system that affect the response and stability are also studied with root locus method. The linear dynamic analysis results are verified with simulations in time-domain.

The HPM (High-speed Power Matching) system is an electro-hydraulic control system. It directly controls the swash plate of the pump by selecting four-loop logic based on joystick signals, pump flow, and pressure signal to improve the efficiency and controllability of construction machines. In the NFC (Negative Flow Control) system, a typical pump control system using conventional open center type MCV, the loss is continuously generated by flow through the center bypass line even when the excavator is not in operation. Also, due to the slow response of the pump that indirectly controls the flow rate using the pressure regulator, peak pressure occurs at the start or stop of the operation. Conversely, the HPM system uses an MCV without center-by-pass flow path and the swash plate of a pump for the HPM is controlled by a high-speed proportional flow control valve. As a result, the HPM system minimizes energy loss in standby state of the excavator and enables peak pressure control through rapid electro-hydraulic control of a pump. In this paper, the concept of the HPM system algorithm is introduced and the hydraulic system efficiency is compared with the NFC system using the excavator SAT (System Analysis Tool).
We perform static program analysis for the binary code. The reason you want to analyze at the level of binary code, installed on your local computer, run the executable file without source code. And the reason we want to perform static analysis, static program analysis is to understand what actions to perform on your local computer. In this paper, execution flow graph representing information such as the execution order among functions and the flow of control is generated. Using graph, User can find execution flow of binary file and calls of insecure functions at the same time, and the graph should facilitate the analysis of binary files. In addition, program to be run is ensured the safety by providing an automated way to search the flow of execution, and program to be downloaded and installed from outside is determined whether safe before running.
This paper deals with dynamic analysis of Pipeline Inspection Gauge (PIG) flow control in natural gas pipelines. The dynamic behaviour of PIG depends on the pressure differential generated by injected gas flow behind the tail of the PIG and expelled gas flow in front of its nose. To analyze dynamic behaviour characteristics (e.g. gas flow, the PIG position and velocity) mathematical models are derived. Tow types of nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equations are developed for unsteady flow analysis of the PIG driving and expelled gas. Also, a non-homogeneous differential equation for dynamic analysis of the PIG is given. The nonlinear equations are solved by method of characteristics (MOC) with a regular rectangular grid under appropriate initial and boundary conditions. Runge-Kutta method is used for solving the steady flow equations to get the initial flow values and for solving the dynamic equation of the PIG. The upstream and downstream regions are divided into a number of elements of equal length. The sampling time and distance are chosen under Courant-Friedrich-Lewy (CFL) restriction. Simulation is performed with a pipeline segment in the Korea gas corporation (KOGAS) low pressure system. Ueijungboo-Sangye line. The simulation results show that the derived mathematical models and the proposed computational scheme are effective for estimating the position and velocity of the PIG with a given operational condition of pipeline.

Code optimization phase in a compiler are very important because the phase reduces the running time and the storage size of machine codes. I developed flow analyzers and optimizers on intermediate codes. The flow analyzers generate control-flow and data-flow information. The optimizers transform the intermediate codes into the improved codes using this information. This paper describes the development of flow analyzers and optimizers. I also examined the execution performance, the cost and the dependency of each optimization.
