This paper describes a preliminary investigation of contracts with a view towards automating the process of contract match-making. A novel approach based on exploiting Standard Form Contracts(SFC) is described. The approach is shown to be implementable with current technology. A second approach based on Standard Contract Clauses(SCC) which overcomes some of the limitations of Standard Form Contracts, is briefly outlined. The flexibility offered by this approach however, is accompanied by a considerable increase in the complexity of contract match-making. Both Standard Form Contracts and Standard Contract Clauses based match-making point towards an exciting area of future research.

This study simulated the effect of the quantity flexibility contract(QFC) on the Korean military inventory system. The results shows that the QFC make the inventory system more efficient. For validity of this study, we assume the basic four demand patterns (increase, decrease, high variation and long seasonality) which are the exogenous variables of these simulation systems. We measured the difference of the traditional military inventory system's and new QFC system's performances. Under the all demand patterns, QFC models have little inventory than the traditional systems. We suggest, therefore, the military change the supply contract into QFC for decrease inventory and expect the results of this study applied to the company level.

Existing real estate markets are monopolized because they are capital intensive and have information asymmetry. However, with the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, technology is converging in various industries based on information technology (IT), and the real estate market is also developing a new field called "PropTech". According to this trend, new PropTech technologies are emerging in various real estate services sectors in Korea, but the electronic contract system, which accounts for the largest portion of the real estate industry, is still cited as a complex identification process and long processing time. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an improvement plan for the current electronic contract system through the introduction of blockchain technology, which is drawing attention with the development of PropTech, and explore the possibility of introduction by producing an experimental model of blockchain-applied electronic contract system in a programming language.

Recently, much attention has been increasingly paid to the efficiency of the delivery system in order to manage construction project in a smooth and effective way. The integrated plan in consideration of the life cycle of building is required for the effective and integrated management of information in a huge amount. To this end, collaboration between each field is indispensable from the beginning of project. But there is a limitation that the designer and the constructor sign the contract separately in the conventional delivery system. In the US, the recent trend is that the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) has been introduced to improve the effectiveness of project management in an increasing number of the cases where project is implemented by utilizing the IPD. In Korea, there is also an increasing need to introduce the IPD for the integrated project management. Consequently, the purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the laws and the contracts that are applied to domestic cases of placing order and signing contract based on the concept and principle of the IPD before the actual introduction of the IPD. Based on such examination and analysis, this study intends to figure out the constraints to the introduction of the IPD. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as basic data for IPD-related study in the future.

Scientific and technical development, as well as the emergence of new types of contracts, which do not have their expression in current legislation, force us to explore the issues of contract law to adapt to change. In this context, the principle of freedom of contract is fundamental, which states that each person has the right to enter into a contractual relationship at his discretion. However, such freedom is not absolute, because the freedom of one person should not violate the freedom of another. Together with the conflict of private and public interests, these phenomena are a field for the study of topical issues of theory and application of the principle of freedom of contract in practice. Research methods are philosophical, general scientific, and special scientific methods, in particular, system-structural, formal-legal, hermeneutic; methods of analysis, synthesis, etc. As a result of the research, the main characteristics of the principle of freedom of contract, its role for private law regulation of contract law are given; approaches to understanding the restriction of contract freedom are analyzed; typical examples and means of such restrictions are identified; demonstrated how contract freedom is embodied in the use of IT tools, which types of contracts are most common in the digital environment.

Smart contract based on the blockchain technology can be applied to the real estate registry including transactions. The Ethereum coin using multi layered protocol is widely accepted as the token for the smart contract. Block chain smart contract using SOLIDITY or PYTHON can mediate transactions auch as sale or lease, creating various scenarios in the property market. Those smart contract can construct the basis for the blockchain real estate registry, which is expected to overcome conventional transaction costs concerning the national law system, the asymmetric information and the currency exchange. The advantages of blockchain technology, namely security, decentralization, global transparency and openness can be applied to the smart contract system on the property registry. Several countries have advanced such blockchain real estate registry project recently, but no actual implementation has been reported for years, owing to institutional and technological impasses.

This study is planned to investigate the attitude toward the safety and health management of contractor company. Under the contract based production system, all of activities including safety and health management in the contractor company are depended upon the contract. How to make contract influence the worker's health of contractor company. Worker's health of contractor company can be protected by efforts of company of contract-out and contractor company, especially their safety managers. The modelling of the effective safety and health management system for contractor company should consider the need of safety manager of each company and employer of contractor company. Data is collected from safety managers of 3 contract out compaines as electronic and electrical manufacturing industry and 55 safety manager, 57 employers of their contractor compaines using self administered survey with structured questionnaire. The most of all respondents want to support from the contract out compaines. The most important items supported from contract out company is the information based on the safety information network between each company. Safety manager and employer of contactor company also itemized safety education and training in the supporting system from contract out company. These results can be generalized to survey on the other industries.

Most of the construction works in domestic are not direct undertaking work, but by a contract method including subcontracting. Therefore, a general contractor for each project jointly carry out construction work with a specialty contractor for each engineering type. However, in terms of contract, this method is not a joint venture contract, but a subcontract. Accordingly, this system can cause various problems between the prime contractor and the subcontractor. Therefore, this study aims to extract and present the actual obstacle factors in terms of specialty contract company performing specialty construction work for construction project. The presented contents are expected to present the standard for the cooperation system that the prime contractor and the subcontractor can win-win.

This practical study is to propose a model for efficiently implementing franchise management by Franchise Enterprise in franchise industry. Franchise system is established and mutual relationship is also fulfilled based on bilateral contract between franchisor and franchisee. After contract and opening the franchisee store, franchisees are continually supervised and administered according to mutually agreed process and procedures. In this regard, franchisor should have well-managed system for supervising and assisting franchisee efficiently and effectively. The purpose of this study is to set-up the concept of enterprise contract management(ECM) in Franchise Enterprise and to promote the systemization of franchise management, and also to present and propose the development tool for franchise-specific IT program which is called " Franchise Contract Management'Supervising System".

The purpose of this study was to develop field-centered educational system in contract based department using DACUM for occupational group in software development and materialization area. Job model for contract based department was developed and both educational need and appropriate educational method was investigated and analyzed. Then, knowledge, skill and attitude were elicited and categorized. Subjects for S-OJT were organized and hierarchy of subjects was constructed according to career path set by job experts. Then, educational system in contract based department for software development and materialization was developed by connecting developed subjects with former curriculum. Based on this result the directions for the future studies was discussed.
