레이저 절단공정에서의 토지경로 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Torch Path Generation for Laser Cutting Process)

  • This paper addresses the problem of a torch path generation for the 2D laser cutting of a stock plate nested with resular or irregular parts. Under the constaint of the relative positions of parts enforced by nesting, the developed torch path algorithm generate feasible cutting path. In this paper, the basic object is a polygon( a many-slide figure) with holes. A part may be represented as a number of line segments connected end-to-end in counterclockwise order, and formed a closed contour as requied for cutting paths. The objective is to tranverse this cutting contours with a minimum path length. This paper proposes a simulated annealing based dtorch path algorithm, that is an improved version of previously suggested TSP models. Since everypiercing point of parts is not fixed in advance, the algorithm solves as relazed optimization problem for the constraint, thich is one of the main features of the proposed algorithm. For aolving the torch path optimization problem, an efficient generation mechanism of neighborhood structure and as annealing shedule were introduced. In this way, a global solution can be obtained in a reasonable time. Seveeral examples are represented to ilustrate the method.

A Three-dimensional Magnetic Field Mapping System for Deflection Yoke of Cathode-Ray Tube

  • In this paper, we introduce an efficient three-dimensional magnetic field mapping system for a Deflection Yoke (DY) in Cathode-Ray Tube (CRT). A three-axis Hall probe mounted in a small cylindrical bar and three-stepping motors placed in a non-magnetic frame were utilized for the mapping. Prior to the mapping starts, the inner contour of DY was measured by a laser sensor to make a look-up table for inner shape of DY. Three-axis magnetic fields are then digitized by a three-dimensional Hall probe. The results of the mapping can be transformed into various output formats such as multi pole harmonics of magnetic fields. Field shape in one, two and three- dimensional spaces can also be displayed. In this paper, we present the features of this mapping device and some analysis results.

자폐 범주성 장애아동과 정상아동의 평서문 읽기에서의 운율구 특성 비교 (A Comparative Study on the Characteristics of the Prosodic Phrases between Autism Spectrum Disorder and Normal Children in the Reading of Korean Read Sentences)

  • The aim of this study is to compare ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) children with normal children in terms of the prosodic features. Materials are collected by the reading of Korean read sentences. They are composed of 10 declarative sentences, each of which was consisted of 5-6 words. Subjects are consisted of 10 ASD and 10 normal male children with a receptive vocabulary age of 5;0-6;5 years. We found out that both groups showed the differences not only in the tonal patterns at the end of the prosodic phrases, but also in both the degree of rising and falling slope related to pitch contour. While HL% and HLH% were highly emerged in sentence final position in normal group, HL% and HLH% were prominent in ASD group in the same position. LH% and LHL% IP types were observed only in ASD group in sentence medial position. The slope showing the variation in the fundamental frequency at the end of the prosodic phrase was twice as steep in the group of ASD children as in the group of normal children.

삼각 메쉬를 위한 기하학 스네이크 (Geometric Snakes for Triangular Meshes)

  • 삼각 메쉬의 특징점을 찾는 것은 메쉬 편집, 메쉬 몰핑, 메쉬 압축, 메쉬 신호처리 등 여러 가지 응용 분야에서 중요하게 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 삼각 메쉬의 특징점을 찾기 위한 방법으로 기하학 스네이크를 제시하였다. 기하학 스네이크는 영상 스네이크를 확장한 것으로, 사용자가 초기 위치를 정하면 에너지 함수를 최소화함으로써 가까이에 있는 특징점을 찾는다. 기하학 스네이크는 항상 메쉬 표면 위에서만 이동하여야 하므로 메쉬를 매개 변수화하여 스네이크를 이차원 상에 매핑된 메쉬상에서 이동시켰다. 스네이크를 특징점으로 이동시키기 위한 외부 에너지는 메쉬 표면의 노말 변화를 이용하여 계산하였다.

돼지 냄새물질 결합 단백질 (pOBP 및 pPBP)에 대한 Tetrahydrofuran-2-yl 유도체의 분자도킹과 결합 상호작용 (Molecular Docking of Tetrahydrofuran-2-yl Analogues to Porcine Odorant Binding Proteins (pOBP & pPBP) and Binding Interactions)

  • The binding affinity constants ($p(Od)_{50}$) and molecular docking scores (OS) between porcine odorant binding proteins pOBP (1HQP) and pPBP (1GM6) as receptor and a series of tetrahydrofuran-2-yl (A & B) analogues as substrate, and their interactions were discussed quantitatively using three-dimensional quantitative structure-activity relationship (30-QSAR) models. The statistical qualities of the optimized CoMF A models for pOBP were better than those of the CoMSIA models. The binding affinity constants and OS between substrate and receptor molecules were dependent upon steric and hydrophobic interaction. The DS constants of the substrates into the binding site of OBP (1HQP) were bigger than those of PBP (1GM6). The resulting contour maps produced by the optimized CoMFA model were used to identify the structural features relevant to the binding affinity in binding site of pOBP.

특징 기반 다중 물체 추적 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Feature-based Multiple Objects Tracking System)

  • 본 논문은 연속 영상에서 윤곽선과 특징을 이용하여 주위 환경 변화에 적응가능한 다중 물체 추적 방법을 제안한다. 적응 배경 모델을 사용하여 주위 환경 변화에 적응케 했으며, 물체 분할 모델은 배경 영상과 현재 영상의 차영상에서 국부 영상의 임계값 이상의 화소를 찾아 연결한 영역을 추출한다. 특징 추출과 물체인식모델은 탐색 창 내에서 발견된 다중 물체의 데이터 연상 문제를 해결하기 우해 사용되며, 실시간 추적을 위해 칼만 필터를 사용하였다. 제안된 방법을 도로 영상에 적용한 결과 다중 차량 추적이 정확히 이루어짐을 실험을 통해 보였다.

  • 영상을 이용한 이동체의 확인과 추출은 용이하지 않다. 어떠한 이동체인지, 어떠한 주위환경인가에 따라 그 추출방식이 다양하고 특수화 될 수밖에 없기 때문에 좀 더 환경적 요소의 영향을 적게 받을 수 있는 방법이 요구 되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 CCD 카메라의 촬영방식인 인터레이스 방식의 원리와 CCD의 노출 시간 동안 이동한 이동체 영상의 특징등 을 이용 촬영된 동영상중 이동체가 발견된 한 장의 정지영상에서 이동체를 추출할 수 있는 이동체 추출 알고리즘을 제안한다.

NATURAL INTERACTION WITH VIRTUAL PET ON YOUR PALM

  • We present an augmented reality (AR) application for cell phone where users put a virtual pet on their palms and play/interact with the pet by moving their hands and fingers naturally. The application is fundamentally based on hand/palm pose recognition and finger motion estimation, which is the main concern in this paper. We propose a fast and efficient hand/palm pose recognition method which uses natural features (e.g. direction, width, contour shape of hand region) extracted from a hand image with prior knowledge for hand shape or geometry (e.g. its approximated shape when a palm is open, length ratio between palm width and pal height). We also propose a natural interaction method which recognizes natural motion of fingers such as opening/closing palm based on fingertip tracking. Based on the proposed methods, we developed and tested the AR application on an ultra-mobile PC (UMPC).

우세특징파라미터를 이용한 갑상선 암세포의 식별 (Discrimination of Cancer Cells by Dominant Feature Parameters Method in Thyroid Gland Cells)

  • 본 연구는 인간의 갑상선 세포를 대상으로 암세포의 식별을 위하여 새로운 디지털 영상기술을 적용하여 해석한 것으로 이를 위하여 세포영상해석에 필요한 개선된 처리방법들을 제안하였다. 실험대상으로 정상세포와 암세포로 확진된 갑상선세포의 현미경 영상을 사용하였다. 세포영상으로부터 세포핵을 구분하기 위하여 기존의 방법을 개선한 방향각을 갖는 Contour Following법을 시도하여 세포핵의 영상을 매우 효과적으로 얻을 수 있음을 입증하였고, 세포핵의 특징추출을 위하여 16개의 특징파라미터들을 사용하였고 식별율을 높이기 위하여 우세특징파라미터를 선택하여 식별을 향상을 꾀하였다. 실험 결과 평균 91.11%의 식별률을 얻음으로서 효과적으로 갑상선의 암세포를 식별할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

iOS 플랫폼에서 Active Shape Model 개선을 통한 얼굴 특징 검출 (Improvement of Active Shape Model for Detecting Face Features in iOS Platform)

  • Facial feature detection is a fundamental function in the field of computer vision such as security, bio-metrics, 3D modeling, and face recognition. There are many algorithms for the function, active shape model is one of the most popular local texture models. This paper addresses issues related to face detection, and implements an efficient extraction algorithm for extracting the facial feature points to use on iOS platform. In this paper, we extend the original ASM algorithm to improve its performance by four modifications. First, to detect a face and to initialize the shape model, we apply a face detection API provided from iOS CoreImage framework. Second, we construct a weighted local structure model for landmarks to utilize the edge points of the face contour. Third, we build a modified model definition and fitting more landmarks than the classical ASM. And last, we extend and build two-dimensional profile model for detecting faces within input images. The proposed algorithm is evaluated on experimental test set containing over 500 face images, and found to successfully extract facial feature points, clearly outperforming the original ASM.
