  • The purpose of this paper is to develop planning of individual house in Gangwon Provinces. Above all important two conditions, such as changes of life style and building trends are to analyze for landscape. Thus the major analysis is to take basic data about planning. For the feasiblity of these condition, roof type, color, context can be checked and design of landscape may be possible to work out optimum housing for the environments. This study suggests that house of future is to be environmental landscape design. The result of this study, proposal of guideline will be useful to make out design data individual house for the form programming phase of schematic designing in landscape Housing.

  • Zoning data such as national land use planning map, urban land use planning map, agricultural promotion zoning ap, forest land zoning map has a relationship each other in law and spatial context. But difficulties in data share and the lack of accuracy of manual work makes serious inconsistence son zoning data relationship. This causes many trial and error in land use. For resolving this problem the data modellingmethod is presented as a technical solution.

  • The evolution of mobile communications is inducting several new issues belonging to the system engineering disciplines. this paper tires to underline some of the most important problems staring room the novel requirements and the application characteristics expected for Third Generation Mobile System. Based on these new service peculiarities. the radio resource control and the architectural solutions to be chosen for the Mobile core network are becoming key issues to be investigated for the forthcoming configurations. Particularly. the service acceptance control and the perspective of integration with the IP (internet Protocol) context are of great importance for the definition of the radio control functions and the specification of the switching and nobility control features respectively. The paper presents some basic considerations on the cellular planning issues arising in W-CDMA ( wideband -code division Multiple access) systems. by underlying the most significant innovative elements that are to be introduced in the planning process form the mobile operator viewpoint..

  • This study examines a normative model of project management systems, PPMS, to provide information for directing R&D activity in order to increase R&D productivity. The PPMS (Project Process Management System) is a disciplined and systematic framework to manage R&D projects effectively and efficiently under the assumption of a strategic decision making and long-range planning. The purpose of PPMS is to provide for the management of research organization at different levels an effective management tool; first, for the planning system which deals with rational selection and authorization of R&D projects, second, for the control system which concerns monitoring and controlling the execution of R&D projects, and finally, for the evaluation system which attains evaluation of the performance results of R&D projects and determination of the necessary follow-up. A view for the future development of project management within the context of a project-performing organization is also elaborated to exhibit the progress and phase description of the project management system.

  • This study focus on the revitalization of green tourism by the agricultural landscape conservation policy. Today, agricultural landuse for food production is restricted by agricultural products import. In this context, agricultural land use policy should be paradigm shift to the consumers needs which accelerates the green tourism in the rural areas. This research screen the agricultural landscape conservation policy of Japan' system and construct the new policy implementation for agricultural landscape conservation in Korea. For this purpose, agricultural landscape guideline and support system should be established in line with the revitalization of green tourism and agricultural income diversification in the rural areas.

  • This paper presents a network capacity model that can be used as an analytical tool for strategic planning and resource allocation for multimodal transportation systems. In the context of freight transportation, the multimodal network capacity problem (MNCP) is formulated as a mathematical model of nonlinear bi-level optimization problem. Given network configuration and freight demand for multiple origin-destination pairs, the MNCP model is designed to determine the maximum flow that the network can accommodate. To solve the MNCP, a heuristic solution algorithm is developed on the basis of a linear approximation method. A hypothetical exercise shows that the MNCP model and solution algorithm can be successfully implemented and applied to not only estimate the capacity of multimodal network, but also to identify the capacity gaps over all individual facilities in the network, including intermodal facilities. Transportation agencies and planners would benefit from the MNCP model in identifying investment priorities and thus developing sustainable transportation systems in a manner that considers all feasible modes as well as low-cost capacity improvements.

  • Today the Seoul metro has become the most important public transportation since opening in 1974. However, planning and design of stations, transfer systems and facilities are discorded by different companies and subway lines. Therefore, there is lack of objective design guidelines to secure legibility and safety in subway space. In this context, we aim to investigate the objective design and planing guidelines in terms of people's cognition and space use pattern. Space syntax method which enables scientific analysis is utilized to examine spatial layout considering passenger's spatial behavior. The research resulted in providing objective design and planning standards.

  • Main theme of this paper is to evaluate the degree of risk due to the uncertainly of the future, especially for the long-term integrated resource planning (IRP) in electric utility. The measures of uncertainty for dealing with planning risk in the IRP context include robustness and flexibility of each candidate resource plan. The uncertainty indices are treated as decision criteria, or attributes, same as economic efficiency or reliability criteria in the multi-attribute decision-making (MCDM) procedure of IRP.

  • This study discusses that the US zoning system came from "progressive movement" in the early 20th century. The US progressive movement was closely related with the scientific management movement in terms of efficiency. In that context, the ontological significance of zoning is found in realizing public interests by blocking external effects based on the value-neutral expertise. Another aspect of the US zoning system is the political one. It is closely related to progressive movement in common with efficiency. The zoning system was introduced as a measure to prevent the racial and class mixture resulting from the influx of immigrants. Today, the racial aspect of zoning is succeeded to exclusionary zoning. This study examines the fact that exclusive interests of US mainstream society have served as more important background than the fundamental aspect preventing external effects in the introduction and evolution of the zoning system.

  • Currently, China's urban landscape is undergoing a gradual shift from incremental development to stock renovation. Furthermore, the planning and development objectives of urban communities have evolved from solely focusing on physical space construction to promoting sustainable development within a humanistic society. The current approach to community planning and construction, which emphasizes a singular dimension of residential life, overlooks the multifaceted aspects of community life and production. This oversight leads to a lack of attention to interpersonal relationships within the community, difficulties in establishing a connection between people and their environment, and numerous other issues. Consequently, this paper seeks to redefine the concept of sociality within community spaces by considering the continuum of time and space within communities. It aims to delineate the roles of "power" and "rights" within the community context, with a particular focus on everyday life, in order to reevaluate strategies and methods for fostering dynamic community development.
