  • The electric and magnetic properties of Mg1.9-2xMn0.05Fe4xO4+${\gamma}$+2wt% Al2O3, and its microstructure have been investigated as a function of ferrite composition (x=0.45, 0.5, 0.55). The microstructure turned out to be independent on the ferrite composition. The resistivity was decreased with increasing Fe contents, whereas the Curie temperature decreased. Saturation magnetization was varied from 1741 to 2022 G with composition, and squareness ratio (SR), coercive force (BHc) were decreased and increased with increasing Fe contents respectively, so the sample which SR and BHc were 0.97 Oe and 1.49 Oe can be attainable at x=0.45.

흑염소 소주의 무기질 함량과 지방산 조성 (Mineral Contents and Fatty Acid Composition of Jemsosojoo)

  • This study was undertaken to analyze proximate comosition, mineral contents and fatty acid composition of pure jemsosojoo(PJ) and jemsosojoo added medicinal herb(JMH). Mositure, ash, crude protein and crude fat of pure jemsosojoo were higher than those of the JMH, but carbohydrate content was higher in the JMH. Among minerals, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn content of the JMH were higher than those of the PJ, while P and Na were higher in the PJ and those difference were significant between the PJ and the JMH(p<0.05). U/S (unsaturaed fatty acid/saturated fatty acid) ratio was higher in the JMH than those of the PJ, the ratio o fglycolipid was 1.75 in the PJ and that of neutral lipid was 3.07 in the JMH. Octadecenoic acid, hexadecanoic acid, octadecenoic acid and hexadecenoic acid were major fatty acids in the total lipids, neutral lipids glycolipids and phospolipids of the PJ and the JMH. Especially, octadecadienoic acid and octadecatrienoic acid were higher in the JMH than those of the PJ.

Sunflower Seed Sprout의 성분조성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Composition of Sunflower Seed Sprout)

  • The proximate composition, pH, vitamins and minerals in sunflower seed sprout were investigated to furnish basic data for utilization in health food or processed food. The pH of sunflower seed sprout was 5.70. The contents of moisture, crude protein, crude fat, crude ash and crude fiber of sunflower seed sprout were 94.7%, 1.3%, 0.3%, 1.3% and 1.6%, respectively. The vitamin A, vitamin B$_1$, vitamin B$_2$, vitamin C and niacin contents in sunflower seed sprout were 114.411. U%, 0.06mg%, 0.05mg%. 5.90mg% and 0.80mg%, respectively. The contents of Ca, P, Fe, Na, K, Mn, Cu, Zn and Mg in sunflower seed sprout per 100g were 80.00mg, 4.85mg, 3.63mg, 8.25mg, 180.90mg, 1.35mg, 0.43mg, 1.85mgand 66.35mg, respectively. The crude ash and crude fiber content of sunflower seed sprout were 3 or 4 times higher than those in the sprout of radish seed, mung bean, soybean or alfalfa, respectively.

전시시나리오구조 유형별 관람행동특성에 관한 연구 - 자연과학계박물관을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Characteristics of Viewing Behaviors by the Composition Type Exhibition Scenarios - Focused on Natural Science Museums -)

  • The purposes of natural science museums are to educate the general public on the principles and application of science, and help them understand various aspects of science technology. Data should be analyzed by considering these educational aspects of exhibition, and the methods of presenting exhibits should be decided. Accordingly, the composition of exhibition contents with various exhibition elements has an important role at natural science museums. The relation and structure of exhibition themes are significant factors in helping visitors understand the principles of science and a system of viewing circulation can be used as an important tool for understanding the flow of exhibition. In other words, at the planning stage for the composition of exhibition contents, the relation of exhibition themes as well as the circulation patterns of viewers can induce active viewing behaviors. Therefore, centering on the patterns of viewing circulation as well as on the connectivity of exhibition themes at natural science museums, the purposes of this research are: 1) to conceptualize the composition of exhibition contents; and 2) to find elements that can induce active viewing behaviors by analyzing visitors' viewing behaviors. This research was establishing an analytical indicator of contact for viewing behaviors observed from the composition of exhibition scenarios, the active viewing patterns of engagement, first contact, and repeated contact were analyzed. First, a composition pattern with a high participation rate, in contact with exhibits, was found to induce an overall-viewing circulation and have a big ring of the composition of exhibition themes. Second, by inducing a partial-viewing circulation pattern, a high rate of first contacts was observed from a ring pattern of theme connection. Even for the structure with theme connection with depth, a high frequency of contacts with various exhibits was found when exhibition themes have a ring pattern. Third, the repeated contacts were mostly found in the form of scenarios, which has a successive structure of ring and cross patterns.

올리브기름, 카놀라기름 및 정어리기름의 급여가 계란의 지방산 조성 및 콜레스테롤 함량에 미치는 영향 (Dietary Olive Oil, Canola Oil, and Sardine Oil on Fatty Acids Composition and Cholesterol Contents in Eggs)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the influence of dietary olive oil, canola oil, or sardine oil on the fatty acids composition and cholesterol contents in eggs The experimental layers, 62~65 weeks of age, were randomly allotted to one of the four treatments; a) Control (commercial feed), b) T1 (commercial feed plus 10% olive oil), c) T2 (commercial feed plus 10% sardine oil), d) m (commercial feed plus 10% sardine oil) for 3 weeks. The egg samples were stored at 4${\pm}$1˚C for a certain period (1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 days) and analyzed for the fatty acids composition and cholesterol contents. The unsaturated fatty acid contents in the egg yolk were slightly decreased as the storage periods extended. The oleic acid content in T1 was the highest in all treatments. The linoleic and linolenic acid contents in T2 were higher than in the other treatments. The eicosahexaenoic acid (EPA), docosapentaenoic acid (DPA), and docosasahexaenoic acid ( DH A) contents in eggs from m were higher than the other treatments. The ratio of egg yolk n-6 /n-3 fatty acids contents in all treatments were slightly increased as the storage periods extended. The n-3 fatty acid contents of the egg yolk from T3 was the highest in all treatments. The cholesterol contents of the eggs were significantly decreased as the storage period extended(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in egg cholesterol content among all treatments.

Botanical Composition, Herbage Production and Plant Mineral Contents as Affected by Application of Chemical Fertilizer and Fermented Sawdust Pig Manure on Cheju Brown Volcanic Ash Pasture Soil

  • This experiment was carried out during the period from September, 1997 to October, 1998 to determine the effect of fermented saw-dust pig manure (FSP) application on the herbage production on a mixed pasture in the Cheju brown volcanic ash soil. Split plot design (main plot: 3 nitrogen application levels of 0, 150 and 300 kgiha; sub plot: 4 pig sawdust manure levels of 0, 3, 6 and 12 tonha) was used. Plant height and dry matter yield increased significantly with an increase of nitrogen and FSP level. There was no difference in the botanical composition of grasses as affected by FSP application level, but herbage yields of grass species were increased by nitrogen application compared to that without nitrogen application. Botanical composition of white clover decreased with an increase of nitrogen application, but increased with an increase of FSP application level. Percentages of weeds were not affected by application rates of chemical nitrogen fertilizer and swine manure in the mixed species pasture. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium contents of species in the pasture significantly increased with increasing application rates of nitrogen fertilizer. In conclusion, it would be an optimum to apply 150 kgha of inorganic chemical fertilizer and plus either 3 or 6 toniha of fermented swine manure with sawdust for optimum production of mixed pasture on Cheju Island.   • Chemical composition, free amino acid and fatty acid composition of wild and cultured cockle clam were studied. 1. The content of crude protein was higher in Anadara suberenata thanthat ini Anadara granosa. The contents of crude protein and ash increased after boiling. 2 Free amino acid composition of Anadara granosa was similar to that of Anadara suberenata. Both glutamic acid and aspartic acid among free amino acid were the most abundant in cockle clam. Next, leucine, arginine and lysine were abundant in order. They all composed of approximately 50%^ of total amino acid content. Whereas the contents of cystine and methionine were poor. 3. In cockle clam the major fatty acids consisted of C16 :0, C18: 0, C18 ;1 and C18:3 in order. The level of C16 :0 was the highest in lipids. The levels of C18 : 0 and C14 :0 were higher in Anadara granosa than those in Anadara suberenata, while the levels of C16 :0, C18 :3 and C16 : 1 were higher in Amadara suberenata than those in Anadara granosa.

Optimization for Scenedesmus obliquus Cultivation: the Effects of Temperature, Light Intensity and pH on Growth and Biochemical Composition

  • Microalgae have been explored as potential host species for biofuel production. Environmental factors affect algal growth and cellular composition. The effects of several key environmental factors, such as temperature, light, and pH of the medium on the growth and biochemical composition of Scenedesmus obliquus were investigated in this study. The highest growth rate of microalgae was observed at an optimal temperature of 25℃, 150 μmol/(m2·s) light intensity, and pH 10.0. The biochemical composition analysis revealed that the carbohydrate content decreased at lower (20℃) or higher temperature (35℃), whereas the protein and lipid contents increase at these temperatures. The fluctuation of light intensity significantly affected the contents of protein, carbohydrate, and lipid. The protein levels varied greatly when the pH of the medium was below 7.0. The carbohydrate and lipid contents significantly increased at pH above 7.0.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of Meles moles application as an edible functional food resource. This study was conducted to estimate the general nutrition composition, amino acid and minerals contents, fatty acid composition of Meles meles oil and the added fermented medicinal herbs liquid, and examine the cell toxicity effects in normal liver and kidney cells. The approximate composition of Meles moles oil was crude fat, 97.64%, crude ash, 1.99% and crude protein, 0.37%. In the fermented liquid, the approximate composition was moisture, 96.08%, Carbohydrate, 1.53%, crude ash, 0.92%, dietary fiber, 0.65%, crude protein, 0.54% and crude fat, 0.28%. The amino acid contents were 2.67 and 80.9mg% in the oil and liquid, respectively. The singularity of the unsaturated fatty acid contents attracted our attention. Especially, the polyunsaturated fatty acid compositions were 32.28 and 54.98% in oil and liquid, respectively. Negative effects were not found form the results of the cell toxicity respection. These results imply that Meles effects oil and the added fermented medicinal herbs liquid can be used as possible food resources and functional food materials.

중국인을 위한 비즈니스 한국어 교재 분석 연구 (An Analysis Study of Business Korean Textbook for Chinese)

  • Recently, Chinese universities have been putting their priority on cultivating industry-academia linked talents, catching up with social change and industrial demand. Accordingly, vocational purpose education is being emphasized even in Korean language education. When facing active trade between Korea and China, the importance of business Korean language education will be magnified, and therefore, the demand for business Korean textbooks will grow accordingly. To strengthen the basis for the development of future business Korean textbooks, this study conducted a general analysis of a business Korean textbook for Chinese learners. Specifically, the textbook was examined by largely dividing it into external and internal structures. After dividing the internal structure into "purpose of compilation", "composition of the textbook", "learning contents", and "learning activity", the composition of the textbook was once again divided into "overall composition" and "unit composition", and the learning contents was further divided into "subject", "language content", and "supplementary knowledge." Furthermore, an analysis was conducted. The status and directions for future development of business Korean textbooks for Chinese learners are delineated and suggestions for improvement are provided. This study has its significant in that a general analysis was conducted on a business Korean textbook for Chinese learners, and is expected to be used as basic research material for the future development of business Korean textbooks.
