시스템다이내믹스를 활용한 중환자실 환자의 비계획적 자가 발관 모델 (Model for Unplanned Self Extubation of ICU Patients Using System Dynamics Approach)

  • Purpose: In this study a system dynamics methodology was used to identify correlation and nonlinear feedback structure among factors affecting unplanned extubation (UE) of ICU patients and to construct and verify a simulation model. Methods: Factors affecting UE were identified through a theoretical background established by reviewing literature and preceding studies and referencing various statistical data. Related variables were decided through verification of content validity by an expert group. A causal loop diagram (CLD) was made based on the variables. Stock & Flow modeling using Vensim PLE Plus Version 6.0b was performed to establish a model for UE. Results: Based on the literature review and expert verification, 18 variables associated with UE were identified and CLD was prepared. From the prepared CLD, a model was developed by converting to the Stock & Flow Diagram. Results of the simulation showed that patient stress, patient in an agitated state, restraint application, patient movability, and individual intensive nursing were variables giving the greatest effect to UE probability. To verify agreement of the UE model with real situations, simulation with 5 cases was performed. Equation check and sensitivity analysis on TIME STEP were executed to validate model integrity. Conclusion: Results show that identification of a proper model enables prediction of UE probability. This prediction allows for adjustment of related factors, and provides basic data do develop nursing interventions to decrease UE.

Determination of the linear elastic stiffness and hygroexpansion of softwood by a multilayered unit cell using poromechanics

  • Hygroexpansion of wood is a known and undesired characteristic in civil engineering. When wood is exposed to changing environmental humidity, it adsorbs or desorbs moisture and warps. The resulting distortions or - at restrained conditions - cracks are a major concern in timber engineering. We herein present a multiscale model for prediction of the macroscopic hygroexpansion behavior of individual pieces of softwood from their microstructure, demonstrated for spruce. By applying poromicromechanics, we establish a link between the swelling pressure, driving the hygroexpansion of wood at the nanoscale, and the resulting macroscopic dimensional changes. The model comprises six homogenization steps, which are performed by means of continuum micromechanics, the unit cell method and laminate theory, all formulated in a poromechanical framework. Model predictions for elastic properties of wood as functions of the moisture content closely approach corresponding experimental data. As for the hygroexpansion behavior, the swelling pressure has to be back-calculated from macroscopic hygroexpansion data. The good reproduction of the anisotropy of wood hygroexpansion, based on only a single scalar calibration parameter, underlines the suitability of the model. The multiscale model constitutes a valuable tool for studying the effect of microstructural features on the macroscopic behavior and for assessing the hygroexpansion behavior at smaller length scales, which are inaccessible to experiments. The model predictions deliver input parameters for the analysis of timber at the structural scale, therewith enabling to optimize the use of timber and to prevent moisture-induced damage or failure.

청소년의 비행또래에 대한 구조와 본질에 관한 현상학적 연구 (Phenomenological study on the Structure and Essence of Deviant Peer Experiences of the Teenagers)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 비행또래에 대한 체험을 현상학적으로 탐구함으로써 비행또래의 근원적인 구조와 본질을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 청소년의 비행또래에 대한 체험을 심층적으로 파악하기 위해 연구자는 인간의 생활세계를 구성하고 있는 네 실존체를 중심으로 비행또래의 본질의미를 탐구하였다. 자료 수집은 심층면담, 참여관찰, 내용분석 등을 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 vanManen의 연구방법을 적용하여 네 실존체로 구조화시키고 그 흐름에 맞추어 비행또래에 대한 구조와 본질을 분석하고 글쓰기를 시도하였다. 청소년의 비행또래에 대한 구조를 해석학적 현상학적으로 분석하여 28개의 구성의미와 30개의 현상, 18개의 경험의 구조로 본질적 주제를 산출해 내었다. 참여자들이 경험한 비행또래의 의미는 '경계(境界), 경계(經界), 경계(警戒)'의 경험이다.

정보보호 관점의 기업 유형 분류 프레임워크 개발에 관한 연구 (Study on Development of Framework of Company Classification in Information Security Perspective)

  • For most organizations, a security infrastructure to protect company's core information and their technology is becoming increasingly important. So various approaches to information security have been made but many security accidents are still taking place. In fact, for many Korean companies, information security is perceived as an expense, not an asset. In order to change this perception, it is very important to recognize the need for information security and to find a rational approach for information security. The purpose of this study is to present a framework for information security strategies of companies. The framework classifies companies into eight types so company can receive help in making decisions for the development of information security strategy depending on the type of company it belongs to. To develope measures to classify the types of companies, 12 information security professionals have done brainstorming, and based on previous studies, among the factors that have been demonstrated to be able to influence the information security of the enterprise, three factors have been selected. Delphi method was applied to 29 security experts in order to determine sub items for each factor, and then final items for evaluation was determined by verifying the content validity and reliability of the components through the SPSS analysis. Then, this study identified characteristics of each type of eight companies from a security perspective by utilizing the developed sub items, and summarized what kind of actual security accidents happened in the past.

표준화 환자 시뮬레이션 실습교육에서 동영상을 활용한 동료학습의 효과: 수술 전후 간호를 중심으로 (The Effects of Video-based Peer assisted Learning in Standardized Patients Simulation: Pre and Post Operative Care)

  • Purpose: This study examined the effects of peer assisted learning (PAL) using video recordings in standardized patients (SP) simulation. Methods: A mixed-method approach was adopted, in which quantitative data were supplemented with qualitative data. Research participants consisted of 49 nursing students, 24 of whom were assigned to the experimental group, and 25 to the control group. The 12 item instrument was used to measure perioperative care knowledge, while performance confidence was assessed with the 10 item questionnaire, and clinical critical thinking skills with the Clinical Critical Thinking Skill Test (CCTS). Qualitative data were collected using a reflective journaling and in-depth interviews. Results: Participants in the experimental group exhibited significantly higher levels of knowledge than those in the control group (t=5.43, p<.001), and were significantly more confident in their performances (F=52.33, p<.001). However, no significant differences were found between the experimental and the control groups with regard to CCTS (t=0.72, p=.477). A qualitative content analysis was conducted using the interview and reflective journaling data, in which six major themes were elicited from three codes. Conclusion: PAL employing video recordings is expected to be utilized as a teaching and learning strategy in simulation-based nursing practicum with greater frequency and longer period, given the positive effects observed in this study.

환경교육적 탐구를 통한 유역 중심의 물 환경교육 교재화 연구 - 무심천 유역을 중심으로 - (A Study on Realization of Teaching Material of Watershed Water Environmental Education by Inquiry with the Perspective of Environmental Education - Focusing on the Watershed Musim Cheon (Stream) -)

  • The purpose of this study is to realize the teaching material, which develops the Model of Watershed Water Environment Education(EE) Textbook, by seeking for a method of the Inquiry with the Perspective of EE and by questing for the contents of watershed water environment necessary for Water EE with the Perspective of EE. First, the value of watershed EE was reilluminated through the literature analysis on the watershed. And 'Inquiry with the Perspective of EE' methodology was newly presented that quests for the contents necessary and proper for EE from the viewpoint of EE. Also, with suggesting it as concept and methodology of 'Inquiry with the Perspective of Watershed EE' by considering the value of EE in Water EE, it presented the content approach direction in the inquiry and the contents of the specific inquiry. Second, through the Inquiry with the Perspective of EE into water environment of the watershed Musim cheon (stream), which is a case region, it allowed the watershed water environment to be able to be synthetically understood. As for a sphere of the inquiry, 5 spheres were sought by taking into account a relation to a human being, as well as the water environment itself of the watershed Musim cheon (stream). Third, Based on the contents of the Inquiry with the Perspective of EE into the watershed Mlisim cheon (stream), 'the Model of Watershed Water EE Textbook' for middle-school students was developed. This model of textbook was selected largely four parts, and was organized with 10 learning objectives and 11 activities.

Proteomic Characterization of the 'Agakong', a Small-seeded Recombinant Inbred Line Derived from 'Eunhakong' (Glycine max) $\times$ 'KLG10084' (Glycine soja)

  • This study was conducted to identify the differences in proteomic characteristics of 'Agakong', recombinant inbred line, and its parental genotypes 'Eunhakong' (Glycine max) and 'KLG10084' (G. soja). The isoflavone content of 'Agakong' was 3 times higher than that of its parental lines. A combined high-throughput proteomic approach was employed to determine the expression profile and identity of proteins using 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis and matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry. The overall distribution patterns of proteins are quite similar, but lots of protein spot intensities varied among the genotypes. A total of 41 proteins, representing significant difference in the quantities of protein among the lines, were successfully identified. Among them, more than 50% of the proteins identified were subunits of glycinin and $\beta$-conglycinin, 2 major storage proteins. This study showed that the proteomic analysis could help to define specific changes in protein level and composition, which can occur in the generation of new soybean varieties.

빈도 분석을 활용한 한·영 사망기사 특징 비교 (A Corpus-driven Approach to Korean and English Newspaper Obituaries)

  • 사망기사는 각 언어 문화의 특성이 반영된 귀중한 자료임에도 불구하고, 한국 학계의 관심을 받지 못했다. 특히 언어학적 관점에서 사망기사를 조명한 최근의 연구는 찾아보기 어렵다. 이에 본 연구는 코퍼스 분석기법을 적용하여 한국 및 영미권의 사망기사를 비교 연구하였다. 코퍼스 분석 프로그램 워드스미스(WordSmith)의 어휘목록(wordlist), 클러스터(cluster) 분석과 용례색인(concordance)을 활용하여 한국어와 영어 사망기사에 등장하는 고(高)빈도어를 찾고, 이로부터 각 언어 사망기사의 의미 있는 패턴을 포착하여 각각의 특징을 정리하였다. 본 연구에서 수집 분석한 코퍼스에서 한국과 영미권 사망기사는 뚜렷이 구별되는 특징을 보였다.

유아용 서사 창작 어플리케이션의 스토리-리텔링 구조 분석 (Analysis of Story-Retelling Structure in Digital Storytelling Applications for Infants)

  • 본 연구는 태블릿 pc 기반 유아용 어플리케이션 중 이야기 창작을 주로 지원하는 콘텐츠의 스토리-리텔링 구조를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 과거 단순히 콘텐츠의 수동적 소비자로 존재했던 유아도, 유아용 서사 창작 어플리케이션을 통해서, 소비한 이야기의 구조를 토대로 자신만의 이야기를 창조적으로 재구성 및 리텔링하는 생산자로 변화해가는 중이다. 기존과 달리 주체적으로 이야기 창작에 참여하고 그 결과물을 도출하는 과정을 통해서 유아는 이야기 텍스트의 의미 지평을 확장하는 유의미한 경험을 하게 된다. 이처럼 스토리-리텔링은 유아의 창의성과 표현력, 리터러시 능력을 배양하는 측면에 있어서 적합한 방법론이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다양한 유아용 서사창작 어플리케이션을 양상별로 유형화하고, 그 중에서 각 유형을 대표할 만한 , , 를 통해서 스토리-리텔링의 구성요소 및 구성방식을 통합적 관점에서 조망한다. '창조적인 틈'을 제공하는 스토리-리텔링 어플리케이션은 유아로 하여금 스스로 빈 칸을 채우게 하고 그 과정을 통해서 상상력을 발휘하는 동시에 이야기의 법칙성을 깨닫게 한다는 점에서 교육적으로 유의미하며, 나아가 차세대 어플리케이션의 발전 방향을 제시한다.

Sphingobacterium composti sp. nov., a Novel DNase-Producing Bacterium Isolated from Compost

  • A Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, nonmotile, and nonspore-forming bacterial strain, designated $T5-12^T$, was isolated from compost and characterized using a polyphasic taxonomical approach. The isolate was positive for catalase and oxidase tests. It could degrade DNA, but was negative for degradation of macromolecules such as casein, collagen, starch, chitin, cellulose, and xylan. The DNA G+C content was 36.0 mol%. The predominant isoprenoid quinone was menaquinone 7 (MK-7). The major fatty acids were $iso-C_{15:0}$ (45.6%), $iso-C_{17:0}$ 3OH (17.2%), and summed feature 4 ($C_{16:0}\;{\omega}7c$ and/or $iso-C_{15:0}$ 2OH, 14.9%). Comparative 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that strain $T5-12^T$ fell within the radiation of the cluster comprising members of the genus Sphingobacterium. Strain $T5-12^T$ exhibited lower than 94% of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity with respect to the type strains of recognized Sphingobacterium species. On the basis of its phenotypic properties and phylogenetic distinctiveness, strain $T5-12^T$ ($=KCTC\;12578^T=LMG\;23401^T=CCUG\;52467^T$) should be classified in the genus Sphingobacterium as the type strain of a novel species, for which the name Sphingobacterium composti sp. novo is proposed.
