IC카드를 위한 비접촉 프로토콜(Type-B) 처리 모듈의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of hardware module to process contactless protocol(Type-B) for IC card)

  • In recent, the contactless IC card is widely used in traffic, access control system and so forth. And its use becomes a general tendency more and more because of the development of RF technology and improvement of requirement for user convenience. This paper describes the hardware module to process contactless protocol for implementation contactless IC card. And the hardware module consists of specific digital logic circuits that analyze digital signal from analog circuit and then generate data & status signal for CPU, and that convert the data from CPU into digital signal for analog circuit.

Contactless Smart Card as a Cache for Geocaching

  • In this paper, the possibility of using a contactless smart card as a cache for geocaching is analyzed. Geocaching is an outdoor game in which players search for hidden boxes, or caches based on geographical coordinates. The problems with this game are the possibility of players cheating and the need to maintain the caches. And then there is the problem of the ignorant public accidentally discovering a cache and considering it an explosive device. This paper proposes a concept for a possible solution to the above problems by replacing the boxes with conventional contactless smart cards. Also, this concept makes geocaching more attractive by using various games. This paper proposes a system architecture as well as the cryptographic protocol required for secure communication between the player's smartphone and the card.

선외기 선박용 비접촉 러더센서 및 자동조향장치 개발 (Development of Outboard Type Contactless Rudder Sensor and Automatic Steering System)

  • In this paper, we developed a core module of the steering system to control and operate the outboard ship with the automatic steering system, and implemented it as a complete integrated system. In particular, this paper presents the problem of the rudder sensor used in the existing system and implements the contactless rudder sensor as an improvement. In the case of existing rudder sensors, there is a problem that safety operation and economic loss of the ship operation is caused by malfunction due to immersion during use in outboard vessels. However, the proposed rudder sensor is separated from the rotary shaft to constitute a contactless type, and a circular magnet is fixed so that the rotating value can be detected and used by the Hall sensor to completely solve the flooding problem. As a result of the characteristic test, the voltage value from 1.8V to 3.2V was obtained between $-35^{\circ}$ and $+35^{\circ}$ degrees and satisfied the reference value. The proposed rudder sensor was mounted on the outboard ship, and all the performance of controller system were checked. According to the system proposed in this paper, it satisfies the Korean Standard Specification, which defines the speed of convergence in 30 seconds by switching from left to right in 7 seconds. We also confirmed that automatic steering was performed by comparing the compass sensor with the destination in the integrated controller at the start-up.

  • 최근, LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) 산업에서 클린룸의 규모가 커짐에 따라 물류 이송 시스템인 Stocker 시스템의 사이즈가 커지고 길이가 장거리화 되고 있다. 이에 제조 업체는 생산 수율을 높이기 위해 Stocker 시스템의 전체 택타임을 줄이기 위한 방안으로 차세대 Stocker 시스템의 속도를 증가하도록 요구되어 지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 차세대 Stocker 시스템의 속도 증가에 대한 비접촉 전원 시스템을 제안하고 Stocker 시스템을 부하로 선정하여 장거리 및 직선구간에 동작 가능한 비접촉 전원 시스템을 제작하여 부하의 여러 운전 패턴에 따른 비접촉 전원시스템의 실증시험, 입/출력 특성 및 효율을 분석하였다.

  • The existing contactless inductive coupler has many problems because of its large volume and high level of exciting current, so a new contactless inductive coupler is being required under the circumstances and the load requirement. For a contactless inductive coupler in the manufacturing equipment of semiconductor, the coupler's efficiency is low because of its small magnetic inductance and large leakage inductance. Moreover, the high frequency switching to increase energy density per unit volume increases the iron loss and the eddy current loss, so it must be considered deeply when selecting core materials. Therefore, this paper presents core materials and shape to improve the performance of the contactless inductive coupler according to the coil positions.

  • 기존의 제조업 기반의 현장에서 적용되고 있는 로봇 및 이송시스템의 선형 전동기 활용에 있어서, 케이블을 통한 전력공급으로 인해 작업 환경 개선 및 기술적 고도화에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점의 해결을 위해 적용될 수 있는 비접촉 전력전송 시스템에 대해서 FEM 기반의 물리해석 프로그램을 활용하여, 2D와 3D의 자계 해석을 바탕으로 비접촉 전력전송 시스템용 고주파 코일 형상 및 전력변환 시스템에 관한 특성을 연구하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 국내 ETCS(Electrical Toll Collection System)에 적용될 예정에 있는 후불식 지불 방식에 있어서 수행해야할 전자 신용카드(EMV) 처리절차를 제안한다. 현재 국내에서는 한국도로공사의 하이패스, 터치패스 시스템이 비접촉식 ETCS로 운영되고 있으며, 현재의 운영 방식은 일종의 전자화폐 개념의 선불(pre-paid)식이다. 이에 반해 후불(credit)식은 신용카드 기반의 지불을 수행함으로써 미리 지불할 필요가 없다는 장점이 있다. 현재 국내의 ETCS에 후불식의 도입이 준비 중에 있으며, 본 논문에서는 이러한 후불식 지불에서 고려해야 할 EMV 처리 방식을 제안한다.

  • Contactless systems use electromagnetic fields to transport power from railway substation to the traction system. In Korea Railroad Research Institute, KRRI, the RIPS (Railway Inductive Power Supply), has been developed. The RIPS is based on a contactless transformer with a fixed coreless primary and a moving core, compared with E shape and U shape, in the secondary. The primary coil is supply with 20 kHz current which produces a magnetic flux in the secondary core. Further this flux induces a current in the secondary coil.

  • This paper describes tile design and implementation of contact and contactless If card OS(Operating System) for Java Card, namely JCOS(Java Card 05). The JCOS complies with ISO/IEC 7816 and IS0/1EC 14443 standards. The JCOS conforms to Java Card 2.1.2 specifications. The JCOS is running on 32-bit ARMTTDMI with public key crypto-coprocssor. This paper describes only the dual-interface protocol of the JCOS which supports contact and contactless applications in a single chip. The JCOS has been completed with our sample banking service and access control service in ETRI up to now.

  • In this paper, the contactless power transfer using inductive power collector in order to apply to the vehicle such as the electric railway vehicle system is suggested and some ideas for power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. This paper was presented for the transfer characteristic of power from input to output by resonance converter.
