해양심층수를 활용하여 제조한 식육가공품의 안전성 및 이화학적 품질평가 (Safety and Physicochemical Quality Evaluation of Processed Meat Products Using Deep Sea Water)

  • 해양심층수는 수심 200 m보다 깊은 심층(深層)에 위치하고 있어 차가운 온도를 유지하고 있으며, 대장균 및 일반세균 등에 의해서도 오염 되지 않은 깨끗한 해수이다. 해양심층수는 산업적 가치가 높은 재생순환형 자원이기 때문에 이를 상업적으로 이용하기 위한 활동이 활발히 전개되고 있다. 해양심층수를 기존 식육가공품의 염지제 대체제로서, 최적인 해양심층수 처리수를 적용한 시제품을 일반 식육가공품 소세지와 비교하여 안전성과 품질특성, 미네랄 함량차이를 알아보았다. 이를 통하여 해양심층수의 염지액 대체제로서의 가능성을 검토하고 이를 이용하여 제작한 식육가공품의 품질을 검토한 결과, 안전성과 품질특성에서는 일반 식육가공품 소세지와 차이가 없었으나, 미네랄 함량은 해양심층수를 적용한 축산가공품이 더 높았다. 이를 통하여 해양심층수는 소금의 대체제와 청정미네랄로 그 활용도가 높아서 해양심층수를 이용한 새로운 식품시장이 크게 활성화될 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 식품공전 규격 검사에 의한 안전성 평가 시험방법을 이용하여 품질검사항목 분석에 의한 품질특성 평가 및 유통기한 경과에 의한 안정성을 검토하고, 시험군과 대조군간의 미네랄 함량 시험을 진행하여 그 함량을 비교, 분석한 결과 후속 연구를 통한 식품, 의약품 및 축산업에 다양하고 차별화된 식육가공품을 제조할 수 있는 가능성이 있다고 판단하였다.

착색단고추 세척기 개발 (Development of a Washing Machine for Paprika)

  • The amount of export of paprika has been increased rapidly in recent years. Therefore, its cultivation area has greatly increased in Korea according to current consumer's attraction. Moreover, it becomes one of the major exporting products while it recorded 53 million dollars, in 2009 resulting in 40% of the total vegetables export. Most of the products are exported to Japan, but it is necessary to prolong the quality preservation periods to export paprika to nations like U.S.A. or EU. However, to encourage an export to many countries, washing and disinfection became more important to deal with longer transportation and medical inspection. The non-chemical use is very important due to stronger regulation of safety to agricultural production. Accordingly, this study was performed to determine the optimum conditions and develop a prototype washing machine, hot water washing of paprika. The results were as follows : The working performance of the prototype was 938 kg/hr, and which was 1.5 times higher than the conventional air gun type washing machine. The operation cost of prototype was 30 won/kg, and 56% of the cost was reduced when compared with air gun type washing machine.

중국 지린(吉林)시 화학공업의 재구조화 (The Restructuring of the Chemical Industry in Jilin City, China)

  • 본 연구에서는 중국 지린(吉林)시 쟝베이(江北) 화학공업단지를 사례로 개혁개방 이후의 산업재구조화 과정의 특성을 기업조직, 생산방식, 노동력, 제품시장에 초점을 두고 고찰하였다. 지린시 화학공업 기업의 기업조직 재구조화는 2001년 이후부터 본격적으로 기업체 간 하청과 협력관계가 증가하였고, 협력기관의 유형에 있어서 연구소와 지방정부가 가장 큰 비중을 차지하였으며, 협력내용은 제품 및 공동기술개발 협력이 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 생산방식의 재구조화는 2007년 현재 여전히 포디즘 생산방식인 소품종 대량생산 방식을 채택하는 기업체 비중이 가장 높다. 중국이 WTO에 가입한 후 지린시 화학공업기업이 생산체제 전환과정에서 채택한 기업의 대응 전략으로는 생산기술에 대한 투자확대가 중심이며 생산기술 변화에 대한 기업전략은 생산설비의 개선과 신제품개발이 중심이다. 노동력 재구조화 전략은 노동조직 면에서 근로자 재교육의 실시가 가장 높게 나타났고, 노사관계에 있어서는 노동자에 대한 직무 수행 능력을 평가하는 기업이 증가하는 추세이다. 제품시장 산업 재구조화 측면에서는 내수 시장판매가 큰 비중을 차지한 반면에 수출이 다소 미약한 것으로 나타났고, 업체들이 품질개선을 통한 고부가가치화로 제품시장변화에 대응하는 전략이 중심이 되고 있으나 생산제품 및 시장다변화 등 다양한 전략으로 수요환경 변화에 대응하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

소비자 조사와 착의 실험을 통한 온도감응형 기능성 의류개발을 위한 기초연구 (Thermo-sensitive Clothing Development by Consumer Investigation and Wearing Test)

  • In this research, consumer awareness investigation and wearing test were carried out for obtaining useful data on the development of thermo-sensitive functional clothing material. A survey involved 216 people in Seoul and Kyeonggi-do, and 200 questionnaires data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and frequency using SPSS 17.0. Four healthy men in twenties were participated for wearing test. Subjects in normal loungewear were exposed to temperature change from the initial temperature $30^{\circ}C$ down to $5^{\circ}C$ for an hour in a climate chamber. The environmental temperature, surface temperature of garment and skin were measured. As a result, most of respondents have all season clothing products such as underwear, hosiery, and jogging suit for loungewear. Also, thermo regulator y functional clothes are frequently used as underwear and sweat shirt. The consumer awareness investigation on thermo regulatory functional clothing showed that the most important key buying factor is quick climate temperature response, easy maintenance, design and cost, in that order. Surface temperature of garment went down with the cooling down of environmental temperature. The lower environmental temperature, the greater temperature difference by body part showed. Skin temperature change by environmental temperature showed similar tendency of garment surface temperature. In comparison between garment surface and body skin, temperature difference became larger under the lower environmental temperature.

Application of Perfluoropolymethlisopropyl Ether to Long Wearing Lipstick

  • It has been used that fluorinated compounds could be applied to Make-up products. It is that fluorinated compounds are hydrophobicity, lipophobicity and homophobicity. These fluorinated compounds are reported to form a highly protective and effective film against most aggressive chemical and physical agents. In this study we maed a success to formulate the new type of lipstic using perfluoropolymethylisopropylether with low molecular weight which is long wearing and comfortable to use. This PPIE was adsorbed more than 90% in this experiment and formed the well-balanced gel networks even if the selected PPIE is 100% volatile at room temperature. On the basis of the adsorption of PPIE, we developed the new type lipstick, which was highly-lip feeling and had long wearing and non coloration. And these characteristics were verified by actual consumer test.

  • The physical distribution system is composed of all the activities associated with getting products from the factory to the consumer through the firm's channels of distribution. An increasing amount of attention has been recently devoted to the component problems associated with distribution system analysis. This paper analyzes effect of system parameters which are safety factor of depot's stock, limitation of direct supply from shop stock to customer and ordering quantity on the physical distribution cost and the evaluated items by the Simulation. The distribution system simulator views system as being composed of three structural entities, presents a case study of a Chemical manufactures and carried on one year computer running.

Polymer Solar Cells: Fundamentals and Recent Trends

  • Polymer solar cells have become one of the rising next generation solar cells due to their potential for lightweight and bendable plastic solar modules. Recently, the power conversion efficiency of polymer solar cells has reached ~8 %, which can make ~6 % plastic solar modules when it comes to the modular aperture ratio of ~80 %. Although this efficiency is far behind that of conventional inorganic solar cells, the plastic solar modules are expected to create new energy market into which the inorganic solar modules could not make inroads. In the near future, the plastic solar modules can be integrated with consumer electronics that should overcome the regulation of energy consumption. For this application, the polymer solar cells should be fabricated in a variety of module shapes, which can be resolved by employing conventional and/or advanced coating and molding technologies of plastics products. In this tutorial, the fundamental aspect of polymer solar cells will be briefly introduced and then recent trends in terms of materials and devices will be reviewed together with showing recent results in organic nanoelectronics laboratory.

시판 양말의 물성에 관한 소비과학적 검사 (End-Uses Studies on the Physical Chemical Properties of Socks in the Market)

  • Consumer consider the purpose for which they plan to use clothes when they purchase it, and the socks in textile products is evaluated in the same way. serviceability is judged by the extent to which the socks will be useful for its intended purpose. It should retain its original shape and size, good air permeability, good absorbency, good abrasion resistance, high fastness etc. Owing to importance of serviceability in socks, in this paper, these end-use requirement characteristics were tested. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Blend ratios were different between the indicated fiber contents on labels and the testing ones. 2. Air permeability was higher in the samples which contain less stitch density, and hydroscopicity was higher in those which contain natural fibers such as cotton and wool. 3. Shrinkage depended on the blend ratios of cotton and wool, and elastic recovery was better in the course direction than in the wale direction. 4. Pilling was conspicuous in the synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon, and fastness of laundering and perspiration was higher in the fading grade than in the staining grade.

나노물질 안전관리를 위한 연구 현황에 관한 중요도-실행도 분석 (Importance-Performance Analysis for Nano-Safety Researches)

  • 최근 나노기술의 급격한 발전은 산업 및 바이오의약 등 다양한 분야에 새로운 활용 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 아울러 나노물질과 나노소비재의 연간 생산량이 증가하고 있어서, 의도하지 않은 환경 노출이 야기되고 있다. 또한 이미 많은 연구결과에서 이러한 나노물질이 인체 및 환경 유해성을 유발하는 원인과 결과에 대하여 보고하고 있다. 이에 정부에서는 나노물질 안전관리에 관한 다양한 연구주제들을 발굴하여 연구를 진행하고 있다. 본 논고에서는 다양한 나노물질 안전관리 연구주제들의 중요도와 실행도를 분석하여 향후 연구 진행 방향을 제시하고자 하였다.

Physical Methods for the Identification of Irradiated Food

  • The development of methods for the identification of irradiated foods helps enforce national and international regulations on labelling to ensure the consumer's free choice to buy irradiated or unirradiated foods. and the availabilityof such methods may assist the promotion of international trade in irradiated food products and help prevent abuse of the technology. A number of approaches to determine the physical , chemical, microbiological and biological changes that occur in foods treated with ionizing radiation have been studied. However no single method is universally applicable. Among physical measurements, the leading methods of indentification are electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy and thermoluminescence(TL). ESR is an established non-destructive method for the analysis of free radicals from their traps and TL is the emission of light from irradiated mineral extracts by heating. Viscosity of carbohydrate polymers by causing chain breaks by irradiation, measuring the impedance of potatoes and detection of gases produced radiolytically are promising techniques for identification purposes. Irradiated water-containing foods show significant supercooling when monitored with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), which can be applied to identifying irradiated ones.
