The objectives of this study are to investigate the relationship between the growth of the horticultural sector and horticultural research and extension and to examine the socioeconomic returns to investment on research and extension in Korean horticulture. Data for horticultural production values, producer price indices and research and extension budgets for horticultural sector from 1965 to 1998 are collected from various sources. Multi-variate time series analysis technique with vector auto-regression model and Akino-Hayami Formula were employed for the analysis. This study finds (1) horticultural production responds about seven years later to the horticultural research investment shock. the magnitude of the impacts increases to a peak in seventeen years from the initial expenditures and then declines slowly thereafter until twenty years. and this peak gives a tip that horticultural research impact lasts much longer than grain's or agriculture's: (2) the social surplus from research investment benefits more to the consumer rather than to the horticultural producer: (3) B/C ratios in horticultural research are quite high with the range of 9 to 55 from 1965 to 1998. but these have been decreased since the early 1990s: (4) the socioeconomic returns to horticultural research is quite high with 56 percents of internal rate of return. It remains to be analyzed returns to investment on extension in horticulture because of no statistic significance in this study.

Recently, the market of fiber and apparel industry is rapidly changing from producer to consumer oriented. This trend emphasizes the necessity of SCM systems being able to do flexible correspondences to the market changing through synthetically reflecting consumers' various needs and a variety of patterns. However, because traditional SCMs manage their supply chains being based on bar code systems from the production to the distribution, they are suffering from the needs of real time information sharing and have their essential restrictions in the response to the environmental changes of the market and consumers' needs. This paper suggests a new RFID based u-SCM system optimized into the fiber and apparel industry. The proposed system has the benefits that through basing on RPID can collect information of the production and the distribution real time and make better use of it and connect to the legacy systems organically via Web services and rapidly respond to the market changing and consumers' needs. Through implementation, it is demonstrated that the proposed system can effectively facilitate them.

Middle age is the time of the most important meaning in life and also the time of physical and mental change, which offers new social activities for self-development. Middle-aged women form the major consumer class in current clothing industry, but few have been performed on this so far. The researcher studied in many aspect on the clothes which middle-aged women need to wear during this period of change. Thus this study is executed to examine what benefits middle-aged women pursue in clothing attitudes and the relationship among clothing pursuit benefit and their somatotype compensation and image orientation. The research performed the theoretical study and practical study simultaneously. The subjects are 238 middle-aged women between 35 and 49 years old in September, 2004. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The attitude of women's clothing patterns in relation with image consist of two factor structures. One is the body image and the other is the appearance image. 2. As a result of researching the attitude for choosing clothes of each body group by Rohrer index, the women with gross body group take a top priority for the lower-body compensation, while the women with slim body group take a top priority for volume compensation. 3. As a result of researching the cognitive somatotype group's attitude for choosing clothes, gross body group takes a top priority for lower-body compensation and upper-body compensation. 4. As a result of researching the relationship between real somatotype and cognitive somatotype by Rohrer index, middle-aged women think of themselves as being fatter than present state. And choosing the clothes, the body misunderstanding group of women usually show that they consider more compensation than the normally body understanding group. 5. The evaluation on real somatotype, cognitive somatotype, ideal somatotype influences on the body cathexis.
The main idea of this study is to turn attention on the question of good cooling ability of customer substations in large district heating networks. The main reason for that is based on our experience that the optimization of district heating very often is directed toward production, whereas questions of optimal distribution are neglected if only the necessary load can be supplied and the customer's request for comfort is met. Our view is that low return temperature(operational temperature differences, ${\Delta}T$) in district heating systems is an Important feature for efficient net operation and gives both economic and operational benefits to the district heating supplier Furthermore, it is as well a prerequisite for meeting the customers demand for reliable supply of the heat load. However, in many practical cases we have seen that district heating return temperatures are higher than necessary. Hence, the aim of the study is to propose and verify a method for detection of the most critical consumers of the net and to identify the reasons for resulting high return temperature. From the results, temperature control system is presented as one of the most important reason of high return temperature in DH networks.
The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics and trends of active senior. As the baby boom generation become the age of the elderly, they are more active than senior. These seniors are called active seniors, a new consumer group. Many countries and companies are also interested in providing relevant policies and services, but there is lack of researches on active senior trends. This study collects the 8,740 posts related to active seniors on social media from January 1st, 2018 to June 31st, 2021, and conducted keyword frequency analysis, TF-IDF analysis and LDA topic modeling. Through LDA topic modeling, topics are classified into 10 categories: lifestyle, benefits, shopping, government business, government education, health, society and economy, care industry, silver housing, leisure. The results of this study can be utilized as fundamental data to help understand the academic and industrial aspects of active senior.

Smart grid is a fully-automated, bi-directional, power transmission network based on the physical grid system, which combines sensor measurement, computer, information communication, and automatic control technology. Blockchain technology, with its security features, can be integrated with Smart Grids to provide secure and efficient power management and transmission. This paper dicusses the deployment of Blockchain technology in Smart Grid. It presents application areas and protocols in which blockchain can be applied to in securing smart grid. One application of each area is explored in detail, such as efficient peer-to-peer transaction, lower platform costs, faster processes, greater flexibility in power generation to transmission, distribution and power consumption in different energy storage systems, current barriers obstructing the implementation of blockchain applications with some level of maturity in financial services but concepts only in energy and other sectors. Wide range of energy applications suggesting a suitable blockchain architecture in smart grid operations, a sample block structure and the potential blockchain technicalities employed in it. Also, added with efficient data aggregation schemes based on the blockchain technology to overcome the challenges related to privacy and security in the smart grid. Later on, consensus algorithms and protocols are discussed. Monitoring of the usage and statistics of energy distribution systems that can also be used to remotely control energy flow to a particular area. Further, the discussion on the blockchain-based frameworks that helps in the diagnosis and maintenance of smart grid equipment. We have also discussed several commercial implementations of blockchain in the smart grid. Finally, various challenges have been discussed for integrating these technologies. Overall, it can be said at the present point in time that blockchain technology certainly shows a lot of potentials from a customer perspective too and should be further developed by market participants. The approaches seen thus far may have a disruptive effect in the future and might require additional regulatory intervention in an already tightly regulated energy market. If blockchains are to deliver benefits for consumers (whether as consumers or prosumers of energy), a strong focus on consumer issues will be needed.
With the decline in the college student population and the increase in the youth unemployment rate, the university began to be interested in starting a business. Under the initiative of the government, the start-up support project was reflected in the university's educational programs, which led to the university students receiving various start-up support benefits. In response to the expansion of entrepreneurship education, various entrepreneurship education programs and support programs were applied in line with the government's efforts to start college students. As a result, students' entrepreneurial competence and willingness to start up increased. College student entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs are increasing. The increase of university student start-up companies is taking place in the entrepreneurial education environment within the university, and the support of university, community, and start-up support institutions for university student start-up, the starting point of the start-up ecosystem, is paying off. It can be seen that the youth entrepreneurship ecosystem based on university entrepreneurship education is in place. The university supports the entire business process from idea development, such as start-up classes, start-up club support, patent application support, prototype development support, and investment linkage. However, there is a university that develops and operates a unique program for each school and a university that does not. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an education program that can produce efficient results. The purpose of this study is to support the start-up program of the university to be the consumer-centered start-up support.

The importance of smart clothing as a product is increasingly emphasized as further growth in the potential of the smart market is expected. There is a high understanding and sympathy for the potential of smart clothing in the mass consumer market; therefore, commercialization is not actively carried out. This study enhances the understanding of the development direction of products with a focus on technical benefits, in order for smart clothing to gain access to customers as wearable devices. This study identifies major technologies used in smart clothing through an analysis of the patent technology status of smart clothing in Korea. Smart clothing is divided into three types: passive smart, active smart and advanced smart clothing based on a reaction mechanism and functional scope. We present the smart clothing and discuss the product features for three types. According to research, smart clothing products were equipped with passive, active, and advanced smart systems as well as provided new services by converging big data and AI technologies, rather than only using technologies such as sensors, controls, and actuators. Future directions for new smart clothing product development is also discussed in the conclusion.

Based on the VAM model of the consumer behavior research framework, combined with the altruistic variable of environmental awareness, this paper constructs a research model on the impact of perceived value, perceived risk and environmental awareness on purchase intention, and deeply analyzes the driving factors of perceived value and perceived risk. By collecting 612 valid questionnaires, data was analyzed by using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0, the results were concluded. Perceived usefulness, perceived entertainment, Technicality, and Energy Awareness all have a significant positive impact on the purchase intention of new energy vehicles; Perceived Fee has a negative impact on purchase intention. The results of this study can provide strategies for companies to improve marketing, reduce consumers' perceived risks, provide beneficial supplements to companies in promoting the environmental protection attributes of new energy vehicles and their own environmental protection efforts, and promote the balance of economic and environmental benefits.
With the advent of the autonomous driving era, automobiles are being discussed as an extension of the media. The growth of the in-vehicle infotainment(IVI) system can provide various benefits and values to the driver and passengers. Although the development and research of related technologies is being carried out, there has been no research that specifically identified users' valuation on the main attributes of IVI systems. This study uses conjoint analysis to investigate key attributes and users' preferences. The results indicate that the most important attribute for IVI system is provider, followed by system operation type, main service and content type. For each attribute, consumers prefer a detachable infotainment system provided by a telecommunication company, and prefer to use information-oriented services and content that they have previously consumed. This paper provides practical implications, especially in terms of convergence, that operators can refer to in IVI development.
