  • This paper presents an approach to quantifying the costs and benefits of integrating ERP systems with project management systems, including potential time and cost savings. To properly identify the costs and the benefits, the paper shows the relevant construction information flows and the desired milestones in the integration process. The proposed benefit analysis model should allow construction firms considering the integration of their ERP systems with legacy systems or commercial project management software make informed decisions in regard to the existing alternatives in the early stages of decision making.

  • Over the past 20 years, Researchers have tried to develop "Integration Model of Cost and Schedule" in construction industry. They suggested various models and techniques, however, it is still required to develop new methodology for AL Form Work in Public Multi-Housing Projects. Accordingly, this research focused on measuring quantity take-offs of on-going projects and analysing the basic process of using the resources(Labor, Material, Plant) related to cost and time data. There are 3 steps of this research : 1) The literature review of previous studies about Integration Model of Cost and Schedule was conducted. 2) Model for integration between cost and schedule was developed. 3) the accuracy of developed model was verified. The results are expected to improve in integrated managing the cost and schedule data of AL form work.

  • Fields of domestic construction supervision are divided into architecture, electricity, information and communication and fire by the individual laws. Between each supervision are lack of relationship. So it bring about performance degradation, supervision fee increasing and dispute. 도시철도 추가 건설에 따른 서울시 역내 지역별 접근성 변화 (Changes in Accessibility of Seoul Metropolitan Area by the Construction of Additional Urban Railway)

  • The goal of this study is to quantitatively evaluate the effects of the additional construction of urban railroads. To this end, 1) establish accessibility as a measure of quantitative evaluation of construction effects; 2) select the 'Integration' of Space Syntax as a quantifiable indicator of accessibility; 3) represent the Seoul railroads as a network; 4) calculate the 'Integration' form the network before and after the additional construction of the urban railroads. By calculating the change of the 'Integration' of the individual nodes and the change of the sum of the 'Integration' of given zones, the change in accessibility of a particular node and the change in accessibility of a particular region were calculated. After analyzing the change in accessibility in nodes and areas as well, it was confirmed that the additional construction of urban railroads was improving accessibility as a whole of Seoul. It was also identified that there was a degree of difference in the extent of the accessibility change for the different areas. It is particularly noteworthy that changes occur in the accessibility ranking. While certain regions were improving relative rankings, others fell in rank. With this finding, it could be argued that active consideration of the areas in which the relative decline occurs is needed when the planned urban railroad is being built.

  • 낙후된 국내 건설관리기술을 선진화$\cdot$합리화하기 위한 방안 중의 하나로 공정-공사비 통합관리가 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 정부에서도 공정과 공사비의 통합관리의 필요성을 인식하고 이의 도입을 적극검토하고 있다 실제로 해외공사를 통해서 양성된 국내 공정관리 전문가들의 노력으로 최근 일부 공공기관의 건설사업에서는 공정-공사비 통합관리를 부분적으로 활용하고 있는 상황이다. 그러나 그 기법 및 전산모델이 이론에 국한된 것이거나 국내의 특수한 여건을 수용하지 못하는 것이 대부분이기 때문에 활용에 많은 어려움이 있으며 국내 건설환경에 완전하게 정착되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 통합관리의 정착을 지연시키는 국내의 특수한 여건 및 문제점을 파악하고 이를 토대로 국내 건설현장에서 적용할 수 있도록 공정-공사비 통합모델의 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다.

  • Most recently, offshore Engineering & Construction field is concerned about integration management technology such as CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing), PDM(Product Data Management) and Enterprise Information Engineering in order to cope with the rapid change of engineering and manufacturer specification as per owner's requirement during construction stage of the project. System integration and integrated data modeling with relational database in integration management technology improve the quality of product and reduce the period of the construction project by reason of owing design information jointly. This paper represents the design methodology of system integration using Business Process Reengineering by the case study. The case study is about the offshore plant material information process from front end engineering design to detail engineering for the construction and the basis of monitoring system by integrating and sharing the design information between the 2D intelligent P&ID and 3D plant modeling using relational database. As a result of the integrated data modeling and system integration, it is possible to maintain the consistency of design process in point of view of the material balancing and reduce the design assumption/duration. Near future, this system will be expanded and connected with the MRP(Material Requirement Planing) and the POR (Purchase Order Requisition) system.

  • 국내 건설프로젝트는 공정관리와 원가관리의 이원적 관리체계를 가지고 있으며, 공정관리는 아직 그 체계가 미흡하고 상대적으로 관리의 중요도가 낮게 평가되고 있는 현실이다. 현재의 원가위주의 관리체계로는 프로젝트 진행과정상의 수행성과를 정확히 파악하기 어려우며, 이에 따라 공기지연, 공사비초과, 생산성저하 둥의 문제가 야기되고 있다. 따라서 프로젝트를 계획된 기간과 비용안에 효율적으로 완성하기 위해서는 비용과 일정의 통합관리를 통한 정확한 실적관리기법의 도입이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실공정을 중심으로 한 실적관리를 통해 프로젝트의 성과를 정확히 파악하여 성공적 프로젝트 수행을 위한 방안으로 비용과 일정의 통합관리를 통한 실적관리 모델을 제시하였다.

  • 전설프로젝트 데이터의 통한적 운용은 건설 프로젝트의 효율적인 관il엔 있어 필수적이다. 최근 데이터 호환성(interoperability)에 기초한 통합방법론으로서 IFC(Industry Foundation Classes)가 제안되었고, IFC에 기초한 시스템 통합의 예가 나타나고 있다. 데이터 호환성(interoperability)의 개념은 각 시스템의 독립성을 보존하면서 시스템의 통합을 전개할 수 있도록, 건설객체를 시스템간의 데이터 공유 프로토콜로써 제시한다. 본 연구에서는 이 데이터 호환성의 기본 개념에 입각하되, 실제 프로세스의 업무범위와 절차를 고려한 단계적인 시스템 개발전략을 제시한다. 이는 실제 업무를 지원하는 정보시스템의 관점보다는 IFC에 의한 시스템 통합에 더 큰 비중을 두고 개발하는 경향에 대한 문제제기이며 그 극복방안이다. 즉, IFC 모델의 데이터 호환성 개념을 응용하여 실제 업무범위와 절차에 적합하게 배치되고 활용되어야 함에도 탁구하고, IFC의 형태에 치중한 결과 실제의 업무를 지원하지 못하는 시스템개발 경향을 극복하고자 한다.

  • The drawing information takes the most essential part of construction information. The management of construction information through drawing information facilitates input, output and search process, thus helping maximize the usage of construction information by effectively sharing construction experience and drawing information. This paper shows how construction information can effectively used to increase the productivity of the construction process as a whole. Construction information was extracted and classified by the elements of building which are the basic and very end components of building, to accumulate information of each construction phase. Based on the result, the Element Breakdown Structure(EBS) was developed for the practical usage of construction information integration.
