Recent interests in both vehicle emissions and public health have facilitated the development of more eco-friendly transportation systems. This study proposed an integrated simulation approach for evaluating the effectiveness of speed management strategies from the various perspectives including safety, operational efficiency, and environmental compatability. Those simulation methods include driving simulation, traffic flow simulation, emissions simulation, and air dispersion simulation. An essence of the proposed simulation framework is to create the systematic connection of each simulation method toward the evaluation of effectiveness of speed management strategies. As an example, chicane and speed hump in residential area were evaluated by the proposed method. It is expected that the proposed simulation-based approach would be effectively used for the decision-making process in selecting better alternatives considering both safety and public health.

The purpose of this study is to present an improved lift-up &procurement work flow for effective resource utilization in building construction. The current lift-up &procurement work flow has some waste factors; complicated information system, connection lack with process and decision-making delay. Therefore the study applied the value stream mapping methodology for improvement of current lift-up &procurement work flow. The main contents of the study are as follows; 1) Problems of current work flow were analyzed through current state mapping(CSM). 2) An improved work flow was suggested through future state mapping(FSM). 3) An improvement effect analysis of information system and lift-up planning was investigated. The study recommends continuous improvement of lift-up &procurement work flow and efficient management of information in building construction as a future research.

In this paper, we propose the secure key management framework to connect USN with different network. Although connected USN with different network has no CA (Certificate Authority), it is important to use public key based cryptography system because this network consists of numerous devices. The proposed mechanisms focus on device authentication and public/private key management without existing PKI system of IP network. To solve no CA and certificate problems, the IDC (Identity Based Cryptography) concept is adopted in our proposed mechanism. To verify the possibility of realization, we make an effort to implement the proposed mechanisms to real system. In the test bed, both USN and PLC network are connected to IP network; and proposed mechanisms are implemented to PLC and sensor devices. Through this test using the proposed mechanism, we met the similar performance with symmetric algorithms on key generation and update process. Also, we confirmed possibility of connection between different network and device authentication.

In korean society, the chronic life style diseases are increasing. It is caused by the approach of the aged society and the highly increasing income. Accordingly the preventive side of the health promotion and management is very important. In the oriental medicine, the general disease pre-estimate and the management program are necessary. On this point, the sign forecast is very significant in connection with the disease pre-estimate in the preventive disease management side. The sign forecast according to the human shape type diagnosis is mainly the sign of the super-early stage, The difference of the shape type has the difference of the special affinity about the disease. Accordingly we can find the sign forecast from the latent disease in the early stage. In NAE-GYEONG(內經), the theory of "five body form's type" can be pre-estimated the latent tendency and the clue of the disease and the growing tendency of disease in relation to the Differentiation of Syndrome, In the disease pre-estimate side, the graspe and management of the sign forecast from the latent disease will be the part of the new development.

A nurse is give much weight in the professions of hospital.The effective achievement of a goal of hospital organization needs to get nurses to contribute the structure positively through the rational personnel management of the nurses.The operation of performance rating system is necessary to improve because the nurses hold negative opinions about the resonable management of that system in most Korean hospitals.Therefore, the prupose of this research was to suggest an efficient method to solve the problem in connection with the management of nurses performance rating system.The results of the study are summarized as follows.1. As the performance rating implies the evaluation of employee's functional accomplishment and ability, and essential condition of the job was surveyed according to the job analysis of nursing activities and nurse position.That is to say, Nusrses' performances and capability is estimated in comparision with the condition of the job. 2. It is required adequacy for evaluation factors in performance rating.That is, $\circled1$ as for those who work in psychiatry or newborn baby room they should be appraied in terms of different factors from those applicable to whom work in a general staffs. $\circled2$ Evaluation factors should be concrete so that the quality and quantity of work and the potential ability of them can be correctly appraised. 3. In order to realize the object of perfamance rating system, the training on chief nurses are quite important. Also, careful practices and continuous supplementary training are required before the system is introduced.First of all, the appropriate evaluation can be mad by continuing to record the rating objects every day for the purpose of obtaining the objectivity of rating. 4. In course of transfering of the position and training, the induction of self-rating system and presentation of self-description is required to supplement functionally the performance rating system. 5. For the efficiency of nurses' performance rating system, the results of performance rating system must be reflected in promotion, allocation and training course, which makes the nurses have the motives and the organization accomplish the goal of modern nursing through its activation.

As time gees by, the function and role of website become more important. Therefore, it is very critical to evaluate and improve continuously the website to the purpose. Many previous studies show that some website evaluation factors will influence the user satisfaction and revisit to the website. The website evaluation criteria from the previous studies related to the university library website evaluation were classified into five assessment criteria which are design, contents, user interface, reliability, and site management. In the results, some significant suggestions were found out. User satisfaction is seriously affected by user interface, and user's intention to revisit is influenced by contents and reliability, but there may not be a close connection between them. Besides, the evaluation method in this study may be applicable to the new website-improving approach of website administrators and researchers.

The purpose of this study is to establish a reference for image acquisition for completion of a standard brain for diverse Korean population, and to develop a management system that saves and manage database of the acquired brain image and personal information of those who were tested. 3D MP-RAGE technique, which has excellent SNR and CNR and reduces the times for image acquisition, was selected for anatomical Image acquisition, and parameter values were obtained for the optimal image acquisition. The database management system was devised to obtain not only anatomical image data but also subjects' basic demographic factors, medical history, handedness inventory state-trait anxiety inventory, A-type personality inventory, self-assessment depression inventory questionnaires of Sasang Constitution Mini-Mental State Examination, intelligence test, and personality test via a survey questionnaire and to save and manage the results of the tests. In addition, this system was designed to have functions of saving, inserting, deleting, searching, and Printing of image da a and personal information of subjects, and to have accessibility to them as well as automatic connection setup with ODBC. This newly developed system may have major contribution to the completion of a standard brain of diverse Korean population in that it can save and manage their image date and personal information.

The SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system is a control system for infrastructure of nation. In the past, the SCADA system was designed without security function because of its closed operating environment. However, the security of the SCADA system has become an issue with connection to the open network caused by improved technology. In this paper we review the constraints and security requirements for SCADA system and propose advanced key management architecture for secure SCADA communications. The contributions of the present work are that our scheme support both message broadcasting and secure communications, while the existing key management schemes for SCADA system don't support message broadcasting. Moreover, by evenly spreading much of the total amount of computation across high power nodes (MTU or SUB-MTU), our protocol avoids any potential performance bottleneck of the system while keeping the burden on low power (RTU) nodes at minimal.

Today, the company is trying to improve for business performance through the optimization of corporate resources. Most companies set up new strategy for obtaining competitive advantage for survival in rapid changes of the global business environment. IT has an important role to reduce cost and to increases business performance such as increasing sales, improving business skills and corporate image, etc. in the corporate environment. The development and use of IT resource is recognized as essential in connection with the business strategy. Most companies tried to establish the strategic use of information systems to gain competitive advantage. IT resource management is not clear in a tangible result of the business. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between IT competency and organizational performance through the mediating effect of strategic use of IS. IT competency consists of IT human resource, IT infrastructure, and IT vendor management. In direct relationship between three IT competence factors and organizational performance, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that IT human resource and IT vendor management are important determinants to influence organizational performance. The additional analysis for mediating effect of strategic use of IS showed that it has mediated the relationship between IT competency factors and organizational performance. This results give us an implication, not only the importance of IT competency development, but also the importance of strategic alignment of strategic use of IS with business strategy.

In this paper, the architecture of Dynamic GSMP V3(General Switch Management Protocol Version 3), an open interface protocol with resource management functions for efficient IP service on ATM over MPLS, is proposed and implemented in hardware. And we compare and analyze the proposed GSMP with the GSMP under standardization process in terms of CLR (Cell Loss Rate). We design the Slave block of the Dynamic GSMP V3 using SAM-SUNG SoG $0.5{\mu}m$ process, which performs functions for switch connection control in the ATM Switch. In order to compare difference performanaces between the proposed method and the conventional one, we conducts simulations using the minimum buffer search algorithm with random cell generation. The exponential results show that the proposed method leads to performance enhancement in CLR.
