  • Video transfer problem on mobile is transfer speed and controls. Compression technique is needed to transfer videos and H.263 codec is used for compression, effectively controls camera on remote places, increased the real time connecting users. In this paper, we could solve the problem that use existent RF, and could transfer the most suitable image and audio.

  • The Communication Processing Systems(CPS) is a gateway that supports 01410 hitel service by connecting the public switched telephone network(PSTN) with the public switched data network(PSDN). The CPS is made the meausred rate accounting method for the biling after extracting the originating numbers from the nearest local PSTN. In this paper, a numerical simulation is carried out on the offered traffic per user on the telephone access part of the CPS according to change of call loss probability and also propose the proper number of channels based on the simulation results.

  • CAN communication can minimize the interfacing lines between equipments because it is composed of only the input and output lines, also is used for automatic system including vehicle, aircraft, railway vehicles and robot because the reliability of data is high by the capability of data-related error detect and correcting function. It can also improve the low-reliable and inefficient system which is composed of the existing Wiring Harness(W/H), so in case of vehicle, it is used in place of the present ECU as the new electro-control unit. In this paper, we constructed the electro-control unit of vehicle by using CAN communication and implemented system that could monitor the condition of vehicle through the web or mobile by connecting the electro-control unit to imbedded system. Such a system is expected to be helpful to the intelligent vehicle and the adoption of ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control).

  • Telematics, one of the so-called New Growth Engine of IT839, is a leading IT service where wireless internet service represented by information and mobility is extended to the area of transportation. To provide telematics service, Telematics service provider have to connect with various Contents Provider or Service Provide server - for example - LBSS(Location Based Service Server), ASPS(Application Service Provider Server), TELICS(TELematics Information Center Server), GMS(Geo-mobility Server), WTPS(World Telematics Protocol Server) and MAUS(Map Air Update Server). Presently, It is nearly impossible or very difficult for the company that are manufacturing and testing telematics device to develop and test telematics solution without connecting Telematics Service Provider, Service Provider, Contents Provider. And, it is very difficult to connect in TSP, CP, SP having the product to be developed. In this paper, we proposed virtual telematics service provider. The proposed Virtual Telematics Service Provider is to provide telematics services and functionalities by integrating telematics servers into TSP gateway virtually. In other words, VTSP is performs with the role of TSP, CP, SP. And the VTSP support integration of telematics servers, interfacing and monitoring between terminal and the integrated servers.

  • This study is to define the Automated Container Terminal(ACT) and container terminal system. Also, we analyze the present condition of the container terminal system in Pusan port and its automation level by systems approach. And this paper aims at evaluating on the priority of R&D investment until the beginning of the second stage of New Pusan Port Project(2006). In this process we have considered 8 factors (cost, labor, area, time volume, reliability, safety, convenience) to analyze 6 subsystems. The priority order of R&D until target year by sub-systems is as follow : Cargo Handling System〉Transfer System〉Port Entry System〉Storage System(Distribution&Manufacturing System included)〉Inland Transport System〉Port Information System.

  • Previously, in order to send information from the local controller to the display board, the hardware or software had to be handled and run through 3-phases, which include the PC-card or PC-add Board, I-F card and Sub board. This study will attempt to design a board that handles information by connecting the USB port of the PC directly to the Sub board. In addition, an MPU will be attached to the previously complex hardware circuit to design a software drive engine module, which allows for the development of new products by modifying only the software engine and not the hardware.

  • For the autonomous movement, the optimal pat]1 planning connecting between current and target positions is essential, and the optimal path of mobile robot means obstacle-free and the shortest length path to a target position. Many actual mobile robots should move without any information of surrounded obstacles. This paper suggests a new method of obstacle avoidment which is suitable in unknown environments. This method of obstacle avoidance is designed with a distributed fuzzy control system, and imitates a Potential Field method. A simulation confirms the performance and correctness of the obstacle avoidance.

  • The purpose of this study is to define the optimized layer pattern of composite wind turbine blade by using a commercial FEM program and to perform the fatigue test of T-Bolt. FEM analysis is done by using a PATRAN and ABAQUS to get a information about stress distribution ,critical deformation shape and get a critical load factor in local buckling analysis. As a result of the linear and nonlinear structural analysis, layer pattern of blade was optimized. T-Bolt is a connecting part of wind turbine blade and rotor hub, therefore T-bolt is cirtical part of wind turbine blade. T-bolt fatigue test is conducted to get a information of life cycle of T-bolt. The test is done by using a hydraulic actuator system

  • In this paper, we suggest a way of implementing ISDN S-Interface through two-wire premises telephone networks instead of using four wires as in the existing ISDN systems. This will help many developing or underdeveloped countries in the world to introduce ISDN services, where they have only two or low wires as in-building telephone networks. We suggest new physical-layer specifications for two-wire S-interface similar to that in ITU-T recommendations I.430 for four-wire systems, design a tranceiver according to the suggested specifications, and implement it using an FPGA We build a test board with the chip on it and succeed in connecting to Internet.
