  • Let G = E${\ast}_{A}F$, where A is a finitely generated abelian subgroup. We prove a criterion for G to be {A}-double coset separable. Applying this result, we show that polygonal products of central subgroup separable groups, amalgamating trivial intersecting central subgroups, are double coset separable relative to certain central subgroups of their vertex groups. Finally we show that such polygonal products are conjugacy separable. It follows that polygonal products of polycyclic-by-finite groups, amalgamating trivial intersecting central subgroups, are conjugacy separable.

  • A family of sixth-order multiple-root solver have been developed and the special case of weight function is investigated. The dynamical analysis of selected iterative schemes with uniparametric polynomial weight function are studied using Möbius conjugacy map applied to the form ((z - A)(z - B))m and the stability surfaces of the strange fixed points for the conjugacy map are displayed. The numerical results are shown through various parameter spaces.

  • Subshifts of finite type can be classified by various equivalence relations. The most important equivalence relation is undoubtedly strong shift equivalence, i.e., conjugacy. In [W], R. F. Williams introduced shift equivalence which is weaker than conjugacy but still sensitive.

  • Two subgroups U and V of a finite group G are called to be p-conjugate for a prime p if a Sylow p-subgroup of U is conjugate to a Sylow p-subgroup of V. This concept of p-conjugacy also makes sense for some infinite groups with a reasonable Sylow theory.

  • We study free actions of finite groups on the 3-dimensional nilmanifold and classify all such group actions, up to topological conjugacy. This work generalize Theorem 3.10 of [1].
