This paper discusses the development of design methods for coastal structures and breakwaters in the United Kingdom, with particular attention to changes in research activities, publications, technology transfer and the use of research results over the last 200 years. The paper describes some examples of the design and construction of breakwaters and seawalls, methods by which their designs and construction techniques were improved, and how those improvements were promulgated within civil engineering. It discusses problems that arise from recent trends in research funding and publication, and seeks to indicate some possibilities for the future. The paper draws on the author's experience in research and specialist consultancy at HR Wallingford, published papers and books, but is also guided by lessons from related work in UK and elsewhere.

In recent the XLPE cable has been applied more widely because of its advantages, such as the low-cost and simple installation. For a prefabricated joint, its working time is short, its jointing procedures aγe simple, and its quality control is easy. Electrical performance targets of our developed 66kV cable accessories has been approved through the type test in accordance with IEC publication 840. This paper describes the developmental effort in terms of the design, structure and results of performance verification tests for 66kV XLPE cable system.

The accuracy of impulse voltage measurement has been discussed and revised the IEC Publication 60-2 "High-voltage test techniques Part 2: Measuring Systems". Along with those activity, reference measuring systems have been experimentally investigated on their characteristics by step response method for lightning impulse voltage in our country. In this paper, using EMTP, we enable to clarify dominant factors affecting the unit step response, and to evaluate the construction of measuring system.

Coastal wave and tide information is very important in various occasions for port and harbor engineers, in the stages such as port and harbor planning, maritime structure design, maritime construction management, and coastal disaster study This paper introduces recent improvement of Japanese coastal wave-tide observation and information system named as NOWPHAS (Nationwide Ocean Wave information network for Ports and HArbourS). Compare with diode or thyristor bridge AC/DC converter, the 3 phase PWM converter has some merits of low THD and unit power factor. So, in many critical application like as UPS, using PWM converter is the trends. 3 phase PWM converter had been studied widely already. But analytical design procedure can not found from publication for hardware design and controller design. So, in this paper, 3 phase PWM converter analysis review was given. And from the DC analysis result, parameter design was done. From the AC model, the voltage controller and current controller was designed. The gain of controllers was calculated by analytical method.

For at least 14 years after the publication of minimum permissible exposure limits that would largely eradicate industrial deafness, statute legislation in Queensland remained unchanged and ineffective. Industrial deafness continued to occur. New legislation, introduced in 1989 and amended in 1993, and based on a duty of care responsibility incumbent on all, may remedy this situation. The new legislation is examined and comments are made about the values inherent in the new approach. It is concluded that public policy strategists may increase the likelihood of success of they ensure that the duty of care provisions (together with the general provisions of the Act) are backed up by innovative complementary economic, financial and marketing incentives.

개인정보 보호법 위반 시 법률적 기준에 따라 행정처분을 하고 이에 대한 결과를 공표하게 된다. 개인정보보호위원회가 심의·의결 기관에서 국무총리 산하 중앙행정기관으로 출범하고 난 이후 개인정보보호법 위반으로 인한 행정처분 결과 공표 자료를 분석하였다. 공표 대상이 되는 주요 산업군과 위반 법률 조문을 분석해 향후 정보주체 권리 보장을 위한 안전한 보호 방안을 제안한다.

IALA Guideline 1132 is intended to assist authorities in implementing the procedures described in IALA Recommendation R1012: VTS Communications with the objective of harmonizing VTS communications through the use of standard message structure and phraselogly. For this reason, it is recommended that VTS Authorities put adequate procedures in place to ensure its consistent and correct implementation for the actual VTS operation as is now being considered in IALA as part of the VTS English language proficiency test. In light of the 2022 publication of IALA Guideline 1132: VTS Voice Communications and Phraseology, in this sense, the potential evaluative variables will be studied in the context of this presentation.

정보기술의 발달로 정보를 수집, 관리, 공유하기가 용이해 짐에 따라 여러 조직이나 기관에서는 개인정보를 수집해 관리하고 있다. 수집한 개인정보를 통계나 연구 등을 목적으로 배포할 때 개인의 프라이버시를 보호하기 위해 k-anonymity 와 l-diversity 원리가 제안되었고 이를 기반으로 하는 프라이버시 보호 기법들이 제안되었다. 그러나 기존 방법들은 정적인 데이터를 단 한번 배포하는 것을 가정하기 때문에 지속적으로 데이터에 삽입이나 삭제가 발생하는 동적 데이터 환경에 그대로 적용하기 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 동적 데이터 환경에서 l-diversity 을 유지하면서 데이터 삽입과 삭제를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 일반화를 사용하지 않기 때문에 일반화에서 발생하는 정보의 손실이 발생하지 않고 삽입과 삭제의 처리가 간단한 것이 특징이다.
