폴리프로필렌 필름의 전도현상 (Conduction Phenomena of the Polypropylene Film)

  • The conducting currents of polypropylene film was measured a function with electric fields at temperature of 25,35,45( C). It appears that there are four regions of conducting currents, depending upon the strength of the applied electric field` ohmic region based on ionic conduction, Poole-Frenkel region, Schottky region and negative resistance region. Several information of dielectric constant and potential barrier height were obtained.

  • The electromagnetic fields radiated from an aperture on a conducting plance covered with a moving uniaxial plasma layer are analyzed. From wave equations in moving plasma and free space region, their solutions are obtained and radiation fields are determined by applying proper boundary conditions in each region. For a particular case of isotropic plasma layer, our results correspond to well-known results.

  • By the variational method, the coplanar waveguide(C.P.W) shielded by two conducting plates has been analyzed. The particular potential solution has been obtained for the boundary conditions in C.P.W. The characteristic impedance and the effective dielectric constant in C.P.W. have been obtained by the variational method using the potential function and the assumed basis function for charge distributions. To consider the effect of the conducting plate in C.P.W. two cases, with and without the top plate, have been analyzed and compared respectively.

Hall Effect on Unsteady Hartmann Flow with Heat Transfer Under Exponential Decaying Pressure Gradient

  • The unsteady Hartmann flow of an electrically conducting, viscous, incompressible fluid bounded by two parallel non-conducting porous plates is studied with heat transfer taking the Hall effect into consideration. An external uniform magnetic field and a uniform suction and injection are applied perpendicular to the plates while the fluid motion is subjected to an exponential decaying pressure gradient. The two plates are kept at different but constant temperatures while the Joule and viscous dissipations are included in the energy equation. The effect of the ion slip and the uniform suction and injection on both the velocity and temperature distributions is examined.

  • Abstract - In this paper, the behaviour and effect of various particles made of conducting wires( Fe, Cu, Al ) in a SF6 insulated electrode system, are presented. It is shown that the ac breakdown voltage of compressed SF6 is influenced by different conducting particles. The breakdown voltage due to the particle is dependent of a class of particle. The breakdown voltage due to Cu particle was the highest and the breakdown voltage due to Al particle was the lowest.

  • In conducting animal studies using rotator cuff, researchers should select the appropriate types of animals and experimental models. This should also be followed by complete understanding of the selected experimental animals as well as the methods for evaluating the results. Thus, researchers could minimize errors and failure in conducting animal experimental studies. Further, this will provide a basis of establishing new idea and theory about rotator cuff diseases.
