각형강관을 이용한 슬림플로어 시스템의 층고절감효과 비교 (Comparing floor height reduction effect of slim floor system with square steel pipe)

  • In recent years, new construction methods have been required to reduce the construction cost and increase the available area in an environment where construction work is frequently performed in a narrow urban area like Korea. As a result of these studies, slim floor composite beam has been suggested. Slim floor composite beam can reduce required depth because web of steel beam is embedded in the slab, so it is effective to reduce floor height and increase the available area. The purpose of this study is the floor height reduction evaluation by comparing system consisting of reinforced concrete, steel, and slim floor using square-shape steel pipe. After doing structural design for a typical plan, checked effectiveness by comparing each design plan. It is proven that slim floor composite beam can reduce required depth effectively comparing required materials of other system.

  • For the purpose of developing economical and time-efficient formwork for Top-down construction, a Non-Supporting Form System has been proposed. The system is consisted of two parts: a hanging part to support a steel frame and a section of concrete slab, and the other hanging part to lower the steel frame. In this paper, the proposed system is compared to two existing systems of Non Supporting Top-down Method and Bracket Supported R/C Downward Method. It is expected that this system can be used in Top-down construction with further development.

  • 현재의 교량의 유지관리 시에 적절한 보수 시기나 최적화된 유지관리 정책을 결정하기 위하여 교량의 성능저하를 정확히 예측하는 것은 가장 중요한 일이다 이률 위해 제안된 방법은 정량적 평가, 마르코프체인, 베이시안 추정법 등으로 구성되었다. 제안된 방법에 따라 국내의 콘크리트 슬래브 교량을 예로서 예측을 하여는데, 기존의 전문가 의견조사 빛 외관조사에 의한 예측보다 좀 더 합리적인 결과를 보여주었다.

  • In this Paper the noise characteristics of KTX are analyzed in order to study the interior noise mechanism of KTX in slab tracks, which has become an issue since the commercial operating in 2004. The analysis of the interior noise of KTX in tunnel with concrete track shows sharply increased noise level in the range of 80Hz that is the natural frequency of the KIX carbody. The frequency characteristics of noise and acceleration levels of KTX in tunnels are compared to understand the interrelation between the noise inside the vehicle and outside the vehicle in the slat track tunnel. As a noise abatement method, the mud-flap was modified with intend to reduce the noise outside gangway and the interior noise inside the passenger compartment ultimately. The effect of this mud-flap modification on the interior noise is introduced and discussed.

  • In this study, settlement characteristics of 23 CFRD was investigated from monitoring data and the method to estimate the crest settlements considering internal settlement during constructions was proposed. Moreover, crest settlement smaller than 20cm and deflection of face slab smaller than 20cm are not considered to be critical to the stability of large dam whose height is over 40m. Therefore, we assigned the region as safe zone that can be used as a guideline of maintenance of dam. These estimated data can be used in the design, construction and long-term maintenance in domestic CFRD hereafter.

Basalt 콘크리트 섬유보강 상판의 거동에 관한 기초적 연구 (The Fundamental Study on the Behavior of Deck Slab Reinforced Basalt Fiber)

  • Basalt originates from volcanic magma and flood volcanoes, a very hot fluid or semifluid material under the earth's crust, solidified in the open air. Basalt is a common term used for a variety of volcanic rocks, which are gray, dark in colour, formed from the molten lava after solidification. Recently, attention has been devoted to continuous basalt fibers (CBF) whose primary advantage consists in their low cost, good resistance to acids and solvents, and good thermal stability. In order to investigate reinforcement effect, this paper did FEM analysis with shell element. The result were as follows; BCF deck plate did elastic behavior to 450 kN, reinforcement effect of basalt fiber (BF) was less. But BCF's perpendicular deflection occurred little about 23 mm comparing with RC deck plate in load 627 kN. Stiffness was very improved by basalt fiber reinforcement.

표준화재 재하조건에서 법정슬래브의 내화성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Fire Resistance Performance of Legal Slab under Standard Fire with Loading condition)

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 법정내화구조로 규정되어 있는 철근콘크리트(RC: Reinforced concrete)조 및 철골철망모르타르(SWM: Steel & Wire Mortar)조 슬래브에 대하여 재하조건에서 구조별 내화성능을 검토하고, 철골철망모르타르조 슬래브에 대해서는 피복두께별 내화성능을 검토하고자 표준화재조건에서 내화실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과 동일피복 두께일 경우 철근콘크리트조 슬래브가 내화성능이 우수한 것으로 나타났으며, 철골철망 모르타르조 슬래브의 경우 피복두께가 10mm 증가 시 7%의 내화성능이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 가열 이면온도는 슬래브의 두께가 늘어날수록 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

  • To control the floor noise generated in the apartment building, a method of reinforcing the floor at the floor is applied. However, since existing buildings are difficult to reinforce upper generations, the ceilings of lower generations should be reinforced. The purpose of this study is to analyze the reduction effect by measuring the impact noise after reinforcing the floor soundproofing material on the ceiling of the existing building. In order to ensure the economical efficiency and flame retardancy of the products used as building interior materials, the existing polyurethane foam was impregnated with mineral to prepare test specimens and attached to the concrete slab surface. As a result, it was shown that heavy impact sound can reduce 2dB~5dB and light impact sound can reduce 4~8dB.

Determining the effective width of composite beams with precast hollowcore slabs

  • This paper evaluates the effective width of composite steel beams with precast hollowcore slabs numerically using the finite element method. A parametric study, carried out on 27 beams with different steel cross sections, hollowcore unit depths and spans, is presented. The effective width of the slab is predicted for both the elastic and plastic ranges. 8-node three-dimensional solid elements are used to model the composite beam components. The material non-linearity of all the components is taken into consideration. The non-linear load-slip characteristics of the headed shear stud connectors are included in the analysis. The moment-deflection behaviour of the composite beams, the ultimate moment capacity and the modes of failure are also presented. Finally, the ultimate moment capacity of the beams evaluated using the present FE analysis was compared with the results calculated using the rigid - plastic method.

  • A procedure of the design optimization for steel box girder bridges using micro genetic algorithms(μGA) is developed. The effect of population size is investigated and the efficiency and reliability of μGA is demonstrated in the optimum design of steel box girder bridges. Optimum design problems of steel box girder bridges are formulated, where tile design of concrete slab is based on the USD specifications and steel box girder based on LRFD respectively. Design of optimizations of single-span and 2-span steel box girder bridges are performed with the population size of 5, 40, 80, and 120, respectively The μGA-based optimum design of the 3-span steel box girder bridge is compared with SQP results.
