  • As the lack of specific aggregation intensifies, the development of alternative resources is urgent. Construction waste is increasing every year, but recycled aggregate is used as a low value added material. Various studies are currently underway at the national level. In this paper, the mechanical performance of the concrete according to the concrete mixing method and the replacement amount of the circulating coarse aggregate was compared and evaluated. Concrete mixing method was normal mixing approach(NMA) method, two-stage mixing approach1 (TSMA1) method, two-stage mixing approach2 (TSMA2) method. Fresh concrete was tested for air content, slump test, and unit volume weight. Compressive strength and flexural strength were tested in hardened concrete. According to the TSMA method, the mechanical performance difference of concrete is shown, and the strength is decreased according to the circulating coarse aggregate replacement amount.

  • In this study, the experiment was carried out to investigate and analyze the ready-mixed concrete production of ultra-high strength concrete with mixing strength of $100N/mm^2$ according to types of mineral admixtures. The main experimental variables were water/binder ratio $25.0\%$, water content $160kg/m^3$ and mineral admixtures such as fly ash, silica fume and meta kaolin. According to the test results, the principle conclusions are summarized as follows. 1) even if it secures similar slump, the viscosity appear to difference by mixing condition relatively. 2) The autogeneous shrinkage of ultra-high strength concrete is profitable that use admixture, and heat of hydration is desirable that apply considering countermeasure enough in the advance. 3) The concrete that use SF10+MK10 on 56days could confirm that it is possible that achieve compressive strength more than $100N/mm^2$ under mixing conditions that is appearing by compressive strength $102.7N/mm^2$.

  • Concrete mix design is used as essential data for the quality of concrete, analysis of structures, and stable use of sustainable structures. However, since most of the formulation design is established based on the experience of experts, there is a lack of data to base it on. are suffering Accordingly, in this study, the purpose of this study is to build a predictive model to use the concrete mixing factor as basic data for calculation using the DNN technique. As for the data set for DNN model learning, OPC and ternary concrete data were collected according to the presence or absence of admixture, respectively, and the model was separated for OPC and ternary concrete, and training was carried out. In addition, by varying the number of hidden layers of the DNN model, the prediction performance was evaluated according to the model structure. The higher the number of hidden layers in the model, the higher the predictive performance for the prediction of the mixing elements except for the compressive strength factor set as the output value, and the ternary concrete model showed higher performance than the OPC. This is expected because the data set used when training the model also affected the training.

  • This study was performed to obtain the basic data which can be applied to the use of epoxy resin mortars. The data was based on the properties of epoxy resin mortars depending upon various mixing ratios to compare those of cement mortar. The resin which was used at this experiment was Epi-Bis type epoxy resin which is extensively being used as concrete structures. In the case of epoxy resin mortar, mixing ratios of resin to fine aggregate were 1: 2, 1: 4, 1: 6, 1: 8, 1:10, 1 :12 and 1:14, but the ratio of cement to fine aggregate in cement mortar was 1 : 2.5. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1.When the mixing ratio was 1: 6, the highest density was 2.01 g/cm$^3$, being lower than 2.13 g/cm$^3$ of that of cement mortar. 2.According to the water absorption and water permeability test, the watertightness was shown very high at the mixing ratios of 1: 2, 1: 4 and 1: 6. But then the mixing ratio was less than 1 : 6, the watertightness considerably decreased. By this result, it was regarded that optimum mixing ratio of epoxy resin mortar for watertight structures should be richer mixing ratio than 1: 6. 3.The hardening shrinkage was large as the mixing ratio became leaner, but the values were remarkably small as compared with cement mortar. And the influence of dryness and moisture was exerted little at richer mixing ratio than 1: 6, but its effect was obvious at the lean mixing ratio, 1: 8, 1:10,1:12 and 1:14. It was confirmed that the optimum mixing ratio for concrete structures which would be influenced by the repeated dryness and moisture should be rich mixing ratio higher than 1: 6. 4.The compressive, bending and splitting tensile strenghs were observed very high, even the value at the mixing ratio of 1:14 was higher than that of cement mortar. It showed that epoxy resin mortar especially was to have high strength in bending and splitting tensile strength. Also, the initial strength within 24 hours gave rise to high value. Thus it was clear that epoxy resin was rapid hardening material. The multiple regression equations of strength were computed depending on a function of mixing ratios and curing times. 5.The elastic moduli derived from the compressive stress-strain curve were slightly smaller than the value of cement mortar, and the toughness of epoxy resin mortar was larger than that of cement mortar. 6.The impact resistance was strong compared with cement mortar at all mixing ratios. Especially, bending impact strength by the square pillar specimens was higher than the impact resistance of flat specimens or cylinderic specimens. 7.The Brinell hardness was relatively larger than that of cement mortar, but it gradually decreased with the decline of mixing ratio, and Brinell hardness at mixing ratio of 1 :14 was much the same as cement mortar. 8.The abrasion rate of epoxy resin mortar at all mixing ratio, when Losangeles abation testing machine revolved 500 times, was very low. Even mixing ratio of 1 :14 was no more than 31.41%, which was less than critical abrasion rate 40% of coarse aggregate for cement concrete. Consequently, the abrasion rate of epoxy resin mortar was superior to cement mortar, and the relation between abrasion rate and Brinell hardness was highly significant as exponential curve. 9.The highest bond strength of epoxy resin mortar was 12.9 kg/cm$^2$ at the mixing ratio of 1:2. The failure of bonded flat steel specimens occurred on the part of epoxy resin mortar at the mixing ratio of 1: 2 and 1: 4, and that of bonded cement concrete specimens was fond on the part of combained concrete at the mixing ratio of 1 : 2 ,1: 4 and 1: 6. It was confirmed that the optimum mixing ratio for bonding of steel plate, and of cement concrete should be rich mixing ratio above 1 : 4 and 1 : 6 respectively. 10.The variations of color tone by heating began to take place at about 60˚C, and the ultimate change occurred at 120˚C. The compressive, bending and splitting tensile strengths increased with rising temperature up to 80˚ C, but these rapidly decreased when temperature was above 800 C. Accordingly, it was evident that the resistance temperature of epoxy resin mortar was about 80˚C which was generally considered lower than that of the other concrete materials. But it is likely that there is no problem in epoxy resin mortar when used for unnecessary materials of high temperature resistance. The multiple regression equations of strength were computed depending on a function of mixing ratios and heating temperatures. 11.The susceptibility to chemical attack of cement mortar was easily affected by inorganic and organic acid. and that of epoxy resin mortar with mixing ratio of 1: 4 was of great resistance. On the other hand, when mixing ratio was lower than 1 : 8 epoxy resin mortar had very poor resistance, especially being poor resistant to organicacid. Therefore, for the structures requiring chemical resistance optimum mixing of epoxy resin mortar should be rich mixing ratio higher than 1: 4.

  • This study is to investigate the probability to develop the AE Water-reducing agent which can decrease the bleeding by mixing melamine type super-plasticizer(SP) and methyl cellulose(MC) viscosity agent. According to the result, as the mixing ratio of melamine type SP and MC viscosity agent increases, the bleeding is reduced due to a increase of the air content. When the mixing ratio of melamine type SP and MC viscosity agent is 1:2 and 1;3 at the water content of 165kg/$m^3$ and 175kg/$m^3$ respectively, slump and air content are satisfied and bleeding is reduced to some extent, so this is determined as the mixing ratio of AE water reducing agent for reduction of bleeding. It is prove that the developed AE water reducing agent for reduction of bleeding can reduce the amount of bleeding and prohibit the plastic shrinkage crack by slowing down the bleeding speed. Compressive strength of hardened concrete does not make any difference in comparison with plain concrete.

  • There will be a big problem in disposing of waste tie coming from the cars. Because many of these have been thrown away to the field and environmentally polluted. New, We need to find out how to dispose or recycle these waste material. It is thought that recycling this material especially mixing with concrete will be a good idea. This study is focused how each material do its behavior due to the size of waste type particle and its amount into concrete material. 0.4mm-10mm range of particle has been applied to the material : Also, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0% range of tyre particle proportion has been applied to make cylinder molds. The concrete mold with waste-tyre particle has vibration-absorbing ability. It is found that 0.4 -0.6mm particle mixing concrete has been more solid organized. And this waste tyre material could be applied to the general concrete, it is found.

  • In case of the concrete is poured into the HPC(Hollow Precast Concrete) column, the shrinkage condition of the HPC surface and the infilled concrete may be different, causing an interfacial space and deteriorating the integration performance. In this study, manufacturing HPC column mold and and the drying shrinkage properties with the charging concrete were examined. As a result, case of the shrinkage reducing agent showed the best drying shrinkage reduction effect. In the case of the expansive agent, the length change was lower than that of plain, but the difference from the shrinkage reducing agent was large, so it is considered that mixing condition of expansion mixing condition should be improved.
