  • This study was performed to verify the effect of workability in construction site using by high strength concrete with granulated blast furnace slag. For the satisfaction of the target strength, the optimized mixing ratio was drawn from the replacement ratio of granulated blast furnace slag and fly-ash. Results from the experiment and the application showed the outstanding quality of concrete and the effects of cost-down.

  • In order to develope and apply high-performance steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC), the effects of steel fibers on durability and long-term deformation of SFRC due to various mixing conditions have been studied. As the test result show, the manufacturing process technology of industrial SFRC is developed And the durability of SFRC such as freeze-thaw, resisteance abrasion resistance are significantly improved, the drying shrinkage of SFRC, is remarkably decreased by increasing the steel fiber contents than plain concrete

  • This experimental study was carried out to estmate the effects of mixing dosage rate and blain on the compressive strength properties of antiwashout underwater concrete admixed with finely ground granulated blast furnace slag. The experimental parameters are slag contents(0, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60%). As a result the compressive strength have a high correlation with slag blended ratio. Thus, it is possible to calculate the modulus of modified age using compressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrete blended with slag.

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the fundamental properties of pyroclastic flow deposit (PFD), and evaluate the fresh and strength properties of concrete mixed with PFD by indoor tests. The fresh properties, strength properties, shrinkage properties, and durability of the concrete mixed with PFD were also evaluated by outdoor plant tests. the harmful alkali-silica reaction did not occur by mixing concrete with PFD. ages. Moreover, no difficulty was found to be associated with concrete manufacture in the plant because no change in air contents and noticeable slump loss occurred by mixing concrete with PFD. The strength properties, shrinkage properties, and durability of the concrete mixed with PFD were also compared with those of normal concrete. With a suitable temperature control and curing method of concrete, the concrete mixed with PFD is considered to be useful in the construction material field.

  • 독일의 건설업자였던 마겐스(J. H. Margens)가 1903년 스타른베르그(Starnberg)에 레미콘 플랜트를 건설하고 레미콘의 제조 특허를 받은 것을 레미콘 산업의 시작으로 본다. 미국에서는 독일보다 10년 늦은 1913년 메릴랜드(Mary-land)주의 볼티모어(Baltimore)시에 플랜트의 고정 믹서로 혼합한 다음 운반하는 중앙혼합방식(central mixing system)의 레미콘 플랜트가 건설되었다. 그러나 이때는 플랜트에서 혼합하여 덤프트럭으로 운반하는 방식이었기 때문에 품질문제가 발생할 수 있어 크게 환영을 받지 못하다가 1926년에 이르러 트럭믹서의 발명으로 레미콘 산업발전의 큰 계기를 마련하였다. 초기부터 미국의 경우는 공급지역이 넓은 특징이 있어 플랜트에서 재료만 계량하여 트럭믹서에 적재하여 운반 중에 혼합하는 트랜싯 믹싱방식(transit mixing system)이 성행해 왔다.(중략)

  • In this study, flowability and strength on ultra high performance concrete(UHPC) pre-mixed binders with fiber was investigated. The flow of UHPC with pre-mixed binders was higher than that of seperate mixing conditions. The UHPC using PVA fiber with high specific surface area showed a low flow compared to steel fiber. An pre-mixing method led to improved strength of UHPC and low deviation of specimens due to dispersion effect of each materials.
