한의학 용어 개념의 정량화 연구 - 방약합편의 병증 용어를 대상으로 - (Study on quantization of Korean medicine terminology concept - for disease symptom terms of Compilation of Formulas and Medicinals Addendum -)

  • Objectives : The concepts of many Korean medicine terms have changed for a long time and cumulatively been recorded in later medicine literatures. And, the same terms have very often been used for different meanings depending on context. Methods : This study was performed so that conceptual magnitude of Korean medicine terms could intuitively be recognized for the purpose of quantization. Results : This study was performed under the premise that terms used in old literatures of Korean medicine are related mostly to treatments that could immediately be reverted to types of medical herbs used. Through this, conceptual magnitude of terms was quantified by the method that frequency of medical herbs used for treatment was changed to numerical values. For this, data of "Compilation of Formulas and Medicinals Addendum" were used. First, after 'specificity' of each medicine herb corresponding to representative disease symptoms was calculated, medians in the set were selected, and 'values of conceptual magnitude' for representative disease symptoms were calculated. Conclusions : As a result, if disease symptoms are diverse, concept range is diachronically changed greatly, and specific disease symptoms of great conceptual difference are included, value of conceptual magnitude was great. Meanwhile, if disease factor and treatment are singular or limited to several types, and many medical herbs with high specificity are used, value of conceptual magnitude was less.

스마트폰 UX에서 개념 메타포의 재매개 특성에 관한 연구 (Remediation Property of Conceptual Metaphor in Smartphone UX)

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰으로 인한 사용자 경험의 확장과 변화를 체현인지 이론에 입각한 개념 메타포 관점에서 고찰하고 그 재매개 특성을 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개념 메타포의 중심 이미지 스키마인 그릇 이미지 스키마와 경로 이미지 스키마는 인간의 신체적 경험에 의한 체현적 스키마 구조를 포함하고 있어 스마트폰을 통한 사용자 경험을 매핑시키기에 적합한 이론이다. 둘째, 재매개의 관점에서 고찰한 스마트폰의 사용자 경험은 인간은 스마트폰에 의해 재매개되고 물리공간은 행위 공간에 재매개되어 상호작용하고 있는 특성을 발견할 수 있었다. 셋째, 스마트폰 UX의 개념메타포는 암묵적인 상호작용을 통해 그릇 이미지 스키마를 활성화시키면서 매체의 실존성을 망각시키는 투명한 즉시성을 가지고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 넷째, 명시적인 상호작용을 통해 활성화되는 경로 이미지 스키마는 매개된 매체의 하이퍼매개를 경험하게 하는 특성을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 고찰한 개념메타포와 재매개 이론은 스마트폰 사용으로 인한 새로운 사용자 경험을 설명하는데 이론적 기반으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

판매원 브랜드 동일시가 개념적 유창성, 서비스 만족도, 브랜드 평가에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Salesperson Brand Identification on Conceptual Fluency, Satisfaction, and Brand Evaluation)

  • Purpose - As the role of salespersons in retail stores has expanded from selling products to sharing brand experiences with customers, the importance of research on the effects of salesperson-brand relationships has grown. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influences of salespersons' brand identification on conceptual fluency and customers' service and brand evaluations. It was supposed that salespersons' brand identification is affected by brand knowledge, which is a core dimension of internal branding. Research design, data, and methodology - The author developed a structural model in which salespersons' brand knowledge influences brand identification, hence customers' perception of salesperson-brand image congruence. And it is hypothesized that salesperson-brand image congruence influences conceptual fluency which affects customers' satisfaction and brand evaluation. Data were collected from five department stores in Seoul. Results - First, salespersons' brand knowledge was found to have a significant effect on brand identification. The more a salesperson knows about the affiliated brand, the higher her level of brand identification. Second, salespersons' brand identification influenced salesperson-brand image congruence. Third, salesperson-brand image congruence had a significant effect on brand conceptual fluency. Customers who perceive salesperson-brand image congruent are more likely to process information easily. Finally, conceptual fluency was found to be a significant determinant of store loyalty and brand value evaluation. Conclusions - The results of this study verify importance of salesperson's brand identification on customers' service and brand evaluations. To enhance salespersons' brand identification, retailers should emphasize the importance of internal branding and communication, especially by sharing brand vision, values, and identity with employees at customer contact points. Also, as brand conceptual fluency is a significant determinant of customer responses, retailers need to deliver consistent messages through various components of store environments, including salespersons' attitudes, appearances, and manners, as well as physical store design. With a deeper understanding of the effects of salesperson-brand relationship and brand conceptual fluency, retailers will be able to create more effective brand strategies to enhance their performances. Future studies should consider data from various retail types, such as discount stores, to generalize the findings.

과학학습에 대한 동기적 신념과 자기주도 학습능력이 중학생의 물질 변화 개념 이해에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Motivational Belief about Learning Science and Self-Directed Learning Ability on Middle School Students' Conceptual Understanding of Matter Change)

  • 이 연구에서는 과학학습에 대한 동기적 신념과 자기주도 학습능력을 각각 과학 개념 이해에 영향을 줄 수 있는 구인으로 가정하고, 이들의 관계를 정량적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 이 연구에서는 중학생들을 대상으로 과학학습에 대한 동기적 신념과 자기주도 학습능력, 물질 변화에 대한 개념 이해에 대해 기존 연구의 측정도구를 이용하여 각각 조사하고, 조사한 응답 분포를 바탕으로 이 세 변인 간의 인과 관계를 PLS 구조방정식모형을 통하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 이 연구에서 설정한 잠재변수인 과학학습에 대한 동기적 신념, 자기주도 학습능력, 물질 변화 개념 이해의 측정은 신뢰도와 타당도 면에서 통계적으로 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 잠재변수들 간의 인과 관계를 분석한 결과, 자기주도 학습능력은 동기적 신념과 물질 변화 개념 이해에 모두 영향을 미치지만, 동기적 신념은 자기 주도 학습능력에만 영향을 미치고 물질 변화 개념 이해에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이 연구를 통하여 과학학습 상황에서 자기주도 학습 능력만이 과학 개념 이해에 직접 영향을 미치며 동기적 신념은 간접적으로만 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 과학학습 과정에 관여하는 변인들 간의 인과적 관계를 정량적인 방법을 통해서 확인했다는 점과 과학교육 연구 분야에서 PLS 구조방정식모형을 새로운 연구방법론으로써 제안한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

  • The purpose of this study was (1) to analyze concept and types of residential mobility (2) to compare of the residential mobility in the fields of different disciplives, and (3) to develop a conceptual framework of residential mobility on the ecosystem approach comparisons of residential mobility concepts in many discipines. The major findings were each disciple played an important role to develop the concept of residential mobility with some limitations. A conceptual frame-work was developed on the basis of these findings.

  • Conceptual system design of a multistage centrifugal air-compressor is the first loop of design procedure. The properly designed system is important for compactness, low manufacturing cost, easy controllability, fast extension for the new specification of the compressor. A simple procedure of conceptual system design is proposed in the present study using simple analysis. A few examples of the procedure for a real system are shown and several design aspects are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a method of applying response surface analysis to trade-off techniques for the conceptual design of armored vehicle. The problem areas of concern are the use of this method in the selection of optimum design points when user requirements are in conflict. The application of this method to trade-offs of performance parameters in terms of weight are presented.

  • 서비스화(Servitization)가 진행됨에 따라 제품에서 서비스가 차지하는 비중과 중요성이 높아지고 있으며, 이러한 현상은 급속하게 변화하는 경영환경 속에서 지속되고 있다. 본 연구는 서비스화에 대한 문헌연구를 통하여 서비스화에 대한 이론적 배경과 연구동향을 살펴보고, 제품 서비스화(prodcut servitization)의 관점에서 기업의 서비스화를 이해하기 위하여 확장된 서비스화 개념적 모형(framework)을 제시하였다. 이 개념적 구성은 서비스 경쟁전략(Competitive Strategy), 제품-지식-서비스 통합시스템(PSKS: Product-Service-Knowledge System), 가치사슬(Value Chain), 서비스화 구성(Configuration)으로 연결되어 있고, 이 개념적 모형을 통하여 서비스화 이론을 뒷받침하는 기업 사례연구(Case Study)를 비즈니스 생태계간 협력 관점과 기업의 내재화 관점으로 구분하여 분석을 시도하였다.

A simplified algorithm for conceptual estimation of the material quantities of rubble-mound breakwaters

  • A simplified algorithm is proposed for fast estimation of the material quantities required for the construction of rubble-mound breakwaters. The proposed algorithm is able to employ only the data available at feasibility study phase such as the maximum draught of the design ship selected to transport the cargos to the harbor despite, because at the feasibility phase, information for the planned harbor is likely to be very limited. A linear-constant waterdepth model together with a proposed section configuration for the breakwaters, which is customary for harbors, is considered to calculate the quantity of materials. The numerical simulation of the wave characteristics has been verified using the recorded wave data collected by a buoy installed near the Neka harbor in Caspian Sea waters. A case study has been also applied to four harbors to validate the proposed algorithm. The estimated weights using the proposed linear-constant and multi-linear waterdepth models were compared using the bathymetry maps and layouts of these harbors. A computer program, written in QBasic language, has been developed to simulate the wave characteristics and to estimate the material quantities needed to construct a rubble-mound breakwater. The obtained results show that taking into account the acceptable accuracies normally applied to the feasibility study and conceptual design phases, the proposed algorithm is sufficiently accurate and highly effective for the conceptual estimation of materials' quantities of breakwaters in the feasibility study phase of harbor projects.

  • This paper proposes empirical research areas and a curriculum model that outlines the core concepts of major research topic and educational programs of family business. The purpose of this study was two fold: First, to develop the conceptual and empirical research model of family business. For this purpose, this study examined five conceptual issues - ethical, theoretical, management, historical, environmental - in the development of family business research areas. Based on these five conceptual issues, this study developed an empirical research model of family business. Second was to develop the curriculum model of family business at the university level. This curriculum was developed in terms on the family system. business system, and ownership system of family business. This study will be useful in developing more professional curriculum and educational programs to help educator and professional advisors assist family businesses.
