'종교'를 묻는 까닭과 그 질문의 역사: 그들의 물음은 우리에게 어떤 문제를 던지는가? (The Concept of Religion: Why It Matters and its Methodological History. What Questions are Posed to Us by "Their" Studies?)

  • 이 논문은 두 부분으로 이루어져 있다. 첫째, 종교 개념을 묻는 질문의 학술적 흐름을 소개하고, 그것을 평가하는 것이다. 왜 개념으로서의 종교를 묻는 문제가 중요하게 부각되었으며, 논의된 내용은 어떤 것이 있는지 그동안 이루어진 연구 업적을 검토하는 부분이다. 둘째는 서구에서 주도하는 이런 문제의식이 우리에게 던지는 의미는 무엇인가를 살피는 것이다. 우리는 왜 그들의 문제의식을 중요하게 생각해야 하는가? 백년 이상의 기간 동안 종교 개념이 수용되어 온 우리의 역사를 어떻게 평가해야 하는가? 종교 개념은 19세기 후반 동아시아의 위기 속에서 한국사회가 수용한 근대적 "지도"의 중요한 부분이다. 우리가 이 "지도"를 받아들이게 된 맥락과 과정을 살피는 것은 지금 그 역사적 유산 가운데 살고 있는 우리의 정체성을 밝히는데 적지 않은 도움이 될 것이다. 그리고 그 이전에 사용하던 지도와 어떤 점에서 이동(異同)이 있는지 검토하는 것도 필수적으로 요청되는 작업이다. 이 문제의식 속에서 전통적 "교(敎)"의 의미망을 살피는 것은 필수적인 작업이다. 또한 전통적 "교(敎)"와 "종교"의 틀이 어떻게 차이를 보이는지 분석하는 작업도 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이런 작업 모두에는 우리가 물려받은 "종교" 개념의 지도를 음미하면서도, 그것을 당연시 하지 않으려는 자세가 관철되어있다.

정신지체아의 정상형제자매에 대한 자아개념과 좌절감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-concept and Frustration off Siblings of Mentally Retarded Children)

  • This study attempted to analyze the psychological impact of mentally retarded children on their normal siblings in the family. The data were collected from siblings of 130 mentally retarded children using a questionnaire with a semantic differential scale. ANOVA and simple correlation coefficient tests were employed to examine the relationship between the siblings’ self-concept and psychological frustration. The major results of the study are as following. 1. Female siblings showed a lower degree of self-concept than male siblings. 2. No significant relationship was found between self-concept and frustration stimuli. 3. Parent related frustration stimuli was no significantly different in sex age, siblings, religion, and retardation level of mentally retarded children. 4. Siblings related frustration stimuli was significantly related to only one item in sex. 5. Their peers related frustration stimuli while sex as well as religion was significantly related to only one item.

2022년 종교 교육과정 - 종교인 만들기와 '유사종교' 발명 교육 - ('Inventing' Religion and Pseudo-religion in the 2022 National Curriculum on Religions)

  • 이 글의 목적은 2022년 종교 교육과정의 형태와 내용을 비판적으로 성찰하는 데에 있다. 성찰의 관점은 종교 교육과정이 국가교육과정인 이상 모든 고등학생에게 적용될 수 있어야 하고, 공유될 수 있어야 하며, 종교 범주를 활용한 성찰의 장(場)으로 기능해야 한다는 것이다. 이 목적을 위해 제2장에서는 2022년 종교 교육과정의 형태와 내용을 고찰하였다. 형태상으로는 종래 교육과정과 유사하다는 점과 함께, 특히 종교 과목을 '진로선택'에 배치한 근거가 약하다고 지적하였다. 내용상 특징으로는 '종교인 만들기'라는 지향성과 '유사종교'론을 지적하였다. 제3장에서는 내용상 특징 가운데 '종교적 성찰을 통한 종교인 만들기'라는 지향성을 고찰하였다. 그리고 종교인 만들기라는 지향성을 위해, 기존 교육과정의 핵심인 '메타 인지적 기술로서의 성찰' 개념을 '종교적 성찰'로 변형시키고 영성과 종교성 개념을 추가했다는 점 등을 지적하였다. 제4장에서는 내용상 특징 가운데 '종교와 유사종교'의 이분법을 고찰하였다. 이 부분에서는 '유사종교' 개념이 조선총독부의 행정 용어('종교유사의 단체')에 '해롭다는 인식'이 결합된 것이라는 점을 밝혔다. 또한 학교교육에서 '유사종교'를 판별하려는 것이 종교에 대한 조선총독부의 태도를 재생하는 것이고, 교사에게 종교와 유사종교를 판별하는 '자의적' 기준을 만들어 끊임없이 유사종교를 '발명'하게 만들 수 있다는 점을 지적하였다. 결과적으로, 2022년 종교 교육과정이 '종교적 성찰을 통해 종교인을 만들면서 유사종교를 발명하려는 교육과정'이라면, 종교 과목은 '종교를 위한 과목'이라는 시선에서 벗어나기 어렵게 된다. 게다가 이러한 시선이 정당성을 얻게 된다면 향후 사회적 논제는 종교 교육과정이 국가교육과정에 존재해야 하는지의 여부가 될 것으로 예상된다.

  • 본 논문은 형이상학과 종교 그리고 도덕에 대한 니체의 비판을 정동을 통해 해명하고자 하는 시도이다. 인간의 실존적 건강을 위한 니체의 철학적 시도는 현실적 삶의 세계로서의 대지에 대한 긍정을 통해 비로소 실현될 수 있다. 생성하는 대지에 대한 긍정은 곧 이 대지를 쾌의 세계로 느낀다는 것을 의미한다. 하지만 형이상학과 종교는 지금까지 이편의 대지세계를 쾌에 반하는 불쾌의 장소로 가정했다. 다시 말해 형이상학과 종교는 인간의 고유한 정동을 억압해왔다. 형이상학, 종교 그리고 도덕의 관점에서 정동은 위험한 것이다. 하지만 니체에 의하면 정동은 오히려 인간의 자연성을 드러낼 수 있는 근본조건이다. 본 논문은 형이상학, 종교, 도덕에 대한 니체의 비판을 그의 정동 개념을 실마리로 하여 논의할 것이다

Reflections on Civilization, Modernity, and Religion in Light of the Fellowship of the Truth

  • This essay analyzes the meaning of "modern civilization" and the ways it relates to religion conceived as a "The Fellowship of Daesoon Truth (Daesoon Jinrihoe)." We take the expression "Fellowship of Truth" in the broadest sense as indicative of a human companionship with the true nature of the Real. We therefore understand the term to be practically equivalent with the concept of "religion" as connoting the ideas of bond, relationship, debt, and duty toward the Ultimate Reality, toward fellow human beings, and toward the cosmos in general. On this basis, our intent is to assess the nature and limits of the relationship between religion as a fellowship of the Truth and the tenets of modern civilization. Within this overarching perspective, the case of Daesoon Jinrihoe is particularly significant and fruitful for two sets of reasons. Firstly, this is so because Daesoon is typically branded a "new religious movement" open to modernity while it is also true that at least some of its representatives are wary of the negative implications of the modern world. Secondly, the significance of a study of Daesoon in light of the notion of religion as a "The Fellowship of the Truth" lies in that it asserts being rooted in tradition, which raises the question of its relationship with modernity.

정신병동의 정신보건간호사와 일반간호사의 전문직 자아개념 (Professional Self Concept of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and General Nurse in Psychiatric Ward)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to investigate the extent to which the professional self concept between the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and general nurse in psychiatric ward was comparable. The results were expected to provide basic data for developing the construct of professional self concept and making awareness of the importance of the program increasing professional self concept. Method : The subjects of this study were 227 PMHNP and 436 general nurse in psychiatric ward. The instruments used for this study were PSCNI by Arthur (1990), PSI by Heppner and Peterson(1982) and the index of work satisfaction by Slavitt et al.(1978). With the aid of the SAS, t-test. two-way ANOVA and stepwise multiple regression were conducted. Result : 1. The average item score of PSCNI of PMHNP was $2.82\pm0.27$. and that of general nurse was $2.66\pm0.27$. Statistically significant difference between two groups was found(p=0.0000) 2. There was statistically significant difference between two groups in the score of professional practice(p=0.0000), satisfaction(p=0.0024), leadersbip(p=0.0000) , flexibility(p=0.0000) and skill (p=0.0000). 3. Statistically significant differences between the two groups were observed in terms of age(p=0.0003), marital status(p=0.0001). education(p=0.0005), religion(p=-.0144), motive (P=-.0001), length of service as a nurse(p=0.0121), the length of service in psychiatric unit(p=0.0143). However there were no significant interaction effect with group and age, marital state. education, religion, motive, length of service as a nurse, length of service in psychiatric unit. 4. Job satisfaction (JS) and problem solving inventory score(PS) were found to be the highest factor predicting the professional self concept between the PMHNP and general nurse. JS and PS accounted for $43.4\%$ in the professional self concept of PMHNP, whereas PS, JS, age and religion accounted for $53\%$ in the professional self concept of general nurse in psychiatric ward. In conclusion, this study suggested that we need to develop programs and polices to increase the professional self concept of nurse, particularly of psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners.

일부 간호대학생의 자아개념과 임상실습만족도와의 관계 (Study on Self-Concept and Satisfaction of Clinical Practice)

  • This study attempted to analyze and confirm the correlation between self-concept and the degree of satisfaction on clinical practice. The subjects of the survey were 194 junior and senior students selected from S universities by questionaire from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30, 1983 in Seoul. The collected data was analyzed by t-test, AN-OVA, Pearson correlation according to purpose of study. The results were as follows: 1. Self-concept by religion was significant (F = 4.51, df=4/185, p= .002). 2. In the motives of selecting the nursing, most of students chose the nursing depending on their altruism(62.9%), ability and aptitude(57.7%) and better opportunity of studying abroad and Setting a job(49.5%) respectively. 3. The degree of clinical practice satisfaction was low as 2.80 of a total score 4.0. The degree of satisfaction of contents(3.33) revealed to be high. Compared with the degree of satisfaction on instruction(2.77), practice hours(2.83), practice environment (3.65), and clinical evaluation(2.60) revealed to be low. Religion and choice order of the admission were not significant in satisfaction of clinical practice(t=.37, p=.715). The main hypothesis that“The more positive self concept will be, the higher the degree of satisfaction on clinical practice will be”was not supported (r= .0509, p=.240). The first sub-hypothesis that“The more positive the cognitive self-concept will be, the higher the degree of satisfaction will be”was partially supported. Because favorite-isolated self-concept was significantly correlated with the satisfaction (r=.1189, P=.005). The second sub·hypothesis that“The more positive the evaluational self-concept will be, the higher the degree of satisfaction on clinical practice will be”was not supported. As a above results, self-concept was not influenced to the degree of satisfaction on clinical practice, therefore it is required that environment, instruction method and evaluation for clinical practice should be refined and improved by clinical administrators and nursing faculties for nor-sing student's satisfaction on clinical practice.

의료기술발달에 대한 간호사의 지각과 전문직 자아개념 (Nurse's Perception of Technological Development and Professional Self-Concept)

  • This study was conducted to explore the nurse's perception of technological development and professional self-concept. The research subjects were 560 clinical nurses in Korea, who worked the general hospitals in Seoul, Kyeonggi, and the Kangwon province. Data sampling was done for the month, of December. 1997. The research tool consisted of 82 items questionnaires which were demographic data, TIQ, PSCNI. The research findings were as follows: 1. Nurses perceived the technological development as slightly positive (Mean =48.8). Also, nurses saw that the fastest developing technological nursing unit was the cardiac care unit, while the lowest technological developing nursing unit was the psychiatric unit. 2. The view of technological development was found to be significantly different according to religion (P=.0109), marital status (P=.0431), and the practical setting (P=.0048). Professional self concept was significantly different according to age (P=.0001), religion (P=.0001), education (P=.0007), marital status (P=.0000), career (P=.0001), and position (P=.0000). 3. The relationship between a nurse's perception of technological development and professional self-concept was highly correlated(r=.26, P=.0001). In the results of the multiple regression, the factors influencing professional self-concept were career, the nurse's perception of technological development, the level of technological development in nursing unit, and education. All these parameters showed the explaining power of 15.4% of the professional self-concept. In conclusion, nurses recognized the technological development was related to the professional self-concept. This study shed light on the meaning of technological development and vision of the nursing profession. Inservice education program should be developed to help the adaptability to technological development and conduct the qualitative research to explore the world of technological development which the nurses are experiencing in nursing.

임상간호사의 전문직 자아개념과 직무만족도 (A Correlational Study on Professional Self-concept and Job Satisfaction of Clinical Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the professional self-concept and job satisfaction of clinical nurses. The subjects consisted of 569 nurses who work at a university hospital and 6 general hospitals in Daegu, Kyungpook and Kyungnam. The findings are as follows : The average item score of professional self concept was 2.68. The mean item scores of professional self-concept in each dimension were as follows: 2.77 for professional practice: 2.33 for satisfaction: 2.91 for communication. The average item score of job satisfaction was 2.79. The mean item scores of job satisfaction in each dimension were as follows: 3.39 for interaction : 3.27 for professional status; 3.19 for autonomy : 2.90 for doctor-nurse relationship: 2.57 for administration: 2.41 for task requirements: 2.16 for pay. The stronger a subject's professional self-concept, the stronger the job satisfaction. The relationship between general characteristics and professional self-concept shows a significant difference with regard to age, religion, marital status, period of nursing career, and position. The relationship between general characteristics and job satisfaction shows a significant difference with regard to age, religion, educational level, work setting, period of nursing career, position, and region. In conclusion, this study suggests that we need to develop a program for improving professional self-concept of clinical nurses through nursing education.

간호대학생의 대인관계, 대처 및 임상실습만족도가 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Relationship between Professional Self-concept, Interpersonal Relationship, Coping, Clinical Practice Satisfaction of Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생들의 대인관계, 대처 및 임상실습 만족도가 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구자료는 M시와 S시의 2개 대학교, 2개 학과 간호대학생 355명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 14.0을 이용하여 Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 종교유무, 가정의 경제적인 수준, 학교성적에 따라 전문직 자아개념에 차이가 나타났다. 전문직 자아개념은 대인관계. 대처, 임상실습만족도와 모두 순상관관계를 나타냈으며, 대인관계(${\beta}=.45$), 적극적 대처(${\beta}=.30$), 종교(${\beta}=.15$), 학교성적(${\beta}=.11$), 소극적 대처(${\beta}=-.12$)가 간호대학생들의 전문직 자아개념에 영향을 미친 요인으로 총 설명력은 45.2%였다. 따라서 간호대학생들의 전문직 자아개념을 향상하기 위해서는 대인관계, 대처, 종교, 학교성적이 고려된 교육적 프로그램의 고려가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.
