Application of CAD-CAM technology to surgery-first orthognathic approach (디지털 기술을 이용한 선수술 악교정치료)

  • For successful surgery-first approach, accurate prediction of skeletal and dental changes following orthognathic surgery is essential. With recent development of digital technology using computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, attempts to provide more predictable orthodontic/orthognathic treatment have been made through 3D virtual surgery and digital tooth setup. A clinical protocol for the surgery-first orthognathic approach using virtual surgery is proposed. A case of skeletal Class III patient with facial asymmetry treated by the surgery-first approach using digital setup and virtual surgery is presented. Advantages and limitations of applying CAD/CAM technology to orthognathic surgery are discussed.

  • 게임 산업의 성장속에 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 게임 플랫폼의 증가와 디바이스의 확산으로 전통적인 게임 콘솔 외에도 개인용 컴퓨터는 물론 가상현실 헤드셋(VR), 심지어 스마트TV를 이용한 클라우드 게임 서비스등 게임을 이용하는데 언제 어디서나 사용할 수 있는 스마트폰과 같은 다양한 장치에서 쉽게 접근할수 있도록 하여 비디오 게임 사용자 증가에 큰 기여를 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 높은 양질의 게임콘텐츠와 메타버스를 넘나드는 고 퀄리티의 차세대 게임을 분석 및 이해하고 연구를 통하여 게임을 제작하기 위해 게임 엔진에 사용된 제작기법을 이해하기 위해서 피교육자들은 게임을 직접 플레이해보며 사용자의 경험을 쌓고 노하우를 축적하는 것만큼 중요한 것은 없다고 결론지었음. 차세대 콘솔기기를 활용하여 우리 대학 신규 교과목으로 편성 되어있는 XR콘텐츠 제작 프로젝트 수업의 효율과 이해도를 높이기 위해 본교에 설치되어있는 차세대 콘솔기기 활용 및 적용 연구의 필요성을 제시한다.

  • The handicapped are so desperate for other's help, but it is not enough. The number of social workers who offers help for the handicapped has annually increased, it is still not enough of these compared to the number of the handicapped. And then volunteers are needed information to service about welfare centers and the procedure. In this paper, we developed offering help and information of welfare android application for the handicapped of the vulnerable class of the society. This application was developed for the handicapped who are in need of help and the volunteers who want to help the handicapped. It basically displays position of welfare centers surrounding user on Google map. The handicapped who needs help of another indicates their current position with messages, the handicapped positions are displayed for volunteers. In addition, we developed bulletin board to be transaction and swapping for assisting device information.

The Development and Utilization of I_smart_keeper for the Learner's Smart Phone Control (학습자의 스마트폰 제어를 위한 아이스마트키퍼 개발 및 적용)

  • We development the service that teacher and parent can control the smart phone of student in school and home, the name is I_smart_keeper. The service is composed of server system, teacher's application, parent's application and student's application. The control of student's phone in school is operated by school timetable and GPS(Global Positioning System) in smart phone. The student's phone is operating one of six policy. The six policy is 'emergency call only', 'specific application only', 'call only', 'call and text only', 'all allowed' and 'all lock'. The teacher can change the current policy with his or her phone, That is a the temporary policy can be applied on a day. In school hours, teacher is able to instruct student using application appropriate to the teaching. If student is leaving school early and located outside school, the service do free the student's phone by GPS of her or his phone. We show the Smart Health Indicator (SHI)that analyse the pattern of student's phone habit and SHI will guide a desirable student's phone habit. In home, parent can control child's phone. The service will help the risk reduction of a robbery case due to keeping student's phone by teacher in class. Currently one elementary school's all student use I_smart_keeper and three elementary school is testing to some class. The teacher's impression was very good and they usually use I_smart_keeper for class in positive light. Survey results for students with higher satisfaction.

Design and Application of Problem Based Learning to Improve Awareness of Information Accessibility for Gifted Students in Computer Science (정보영재 학생의 정보접근성 인식 향상을 위한 PBL 기반 수업 설계 및 적용)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop and apply instructional model to improve awareness of information accessibility for gifted students in computer science. The model applied to class is designed based on Problem-Based Learning(PBL). The class was for 42 students(22 elementary school students, 20 middle school students), and the questions, cognition of the necessity for accessibility, behavior intent for accessibility were given before and after class. Additionally, interest, satisfaction and flow were given after the class. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, it shows a difference on the changes of cognition on the necessity and behavior intent. As a gender difference, specifically, it shows a difference on the cognition of female students's necessity and behavior intent of male students. As a class level difference, specifically, it statistically shows a meaningful difference on cognitive of the necessity of elementary school students and behavior intent of middle school students. Secondly, after class, it shows a high level of interest, satisfaction. But it shows a general level of flow, so various strategies should be developed for covering the flow level.

  • In this paper, a cloud computing platform is designed and implemented based on an open source cloud platform, OpenNebula, and Xen hypervisor on each node for efficient computer lab system. For the purpose of convenient management, a web-based user interface has been developed for the cloud virtualization system. Once individual virtual machine is allocated to a user based upon class schedule, each user can access the virtual machine remotely and use appropriate operating system and application programs. The developed system can reduce computer lab upgrade cost, management cost, and administration time considerably.

  • The web is expected to cause the lot of its utilizing as a means of computer instructed learning and recently the applying instance on the web is more increasing in the education. From educational perspectives. the web-based instruction is much superior to any other medium in the view of interaction and greater to the amount of transmitted information. The various learning contents of WBI program can make students feel more excited and interested in learning activities. Also the creative talent and application abilities of the learner are able to be developed by mixing various sorts of multimedia materials up such as moving pictures. graphics and sounds. In this study, a WBI courseware learning program for the problem solving was designed and Proposed on the base of the theory of constructivism for the subject of social science in the 6th grade of elementary school. The experimental results showed that the learning accomplishment of an experimental class was much better than that of an existent class.

One side, it applied the gifted child and the parents who are participating to an Dae-jeon 6th area joint the gifted person class in the gifted person cyber counseling system which it develops the result and it analyzed. Emotional vulnerability of the analysis result the gifted child considerable portion there is a possibility the fact that it overcomes, if facing each other it will be able to complement the portion which is insufficient from consultation.

  • In this paper, we propose a framework which supports the simple development cycle based on Distributed System using IPO(Input-Process-Output) model. In our proposed framework, once a single class with Input, Process and Output functions is developed, it can be executed like a single application in both presentation layer and middle layer of a distributed system. Our proposed Framework removes dependency on distributed system and makes development cycle decreased from Develop-Build-Deploy-Test cycle to Develop-Test cycle when application programs is developed. The verification of productivity and performance is performed by comparing our Framework with distributed system or lightweight Framework. The results show high productivity due to the considerable amount of reduction in lines of source code and reduction in dependency on distributed system, and show stabler performance than lightweight framework.

  • As the computer is popularized in individual and society, it is using in a many of area. In particular, there are many materials to learn a science knowledge using multimedia through computer. Many of them are web-based learning materials, which are developed by Java or Flash. Since the technology of the representation, storage, com-putation and communication in computer make progress, the environment of education is also developed. Especially, the internet and VR technology will cause the education to change. A key feature of VR is real-time interactivity, in that the computer is able to detect student input and instantaneously modify the virtual world. It is reported that using the VR simulation in chemistry education can increase student engagement in class, promote understanding of basic chem-ical principles, and augment laboratory experience. In this study, application way of the virtual reality technology in chemistry education is examined.
