  • Reinforced concrete is a building material that is generally used in modern society. Also, reinforced concrete structures in high salinity environments have low durability due to corrosion of reinforcing bars due to infiltrated chlorine ions. Anion exchange resins have an ability to immobilize chlorine ions in the resin while releasing their anions. As a material, it has already been shown that it is possible to fix the chloride ion inside the cementitious material through the cement mortar experiment. The purpose of this study is to confirm the compressive strength of cement mortar using powdered anion exchange resin after powdering an anion exchange resin. In order to confirm the chloride ion fixation ability of the powder anion exchange resin, chlorine ion penetration resistance test was carried out.

  • In this study, the experimental study on the early age compressive strength of cement mortar using anti freezer and hardening accelerator at low temperature was conducted. For this study, all of materials for experiment were kept in a low temperature for 24 hours before mortar mixing. After mortar curing at low temperature, compressive strength was measured at the early ages. Furthermore, properties of hardened cement material was analysed using TG-DTA and MIP.

  • In this study, study about fly ash and blast-furnace slag used as substitutive materials for cement, and the influence on the neutralization of high flow concrete durability with these substitutive materials was performed and analyzed. The results are as follows 1) Aggregate segregation was partially improved with the progress of the admixture input at the mix proportion above slump flow 65 cm 2) Compressive strength with the progress of the increasement of fly ash input was decreased in early age, but decrease range was improved in long term age. Also, in case of blast-furnace, similar or improved compressive strength was appeared. 3) The neutralization depth with fly ash input was noticeably increased. But blast-furnace slag was effective to prevent. 4) In this experiment, high powder content was advantageously affected on preventive effect of the neutralization, and the relationship between the compressive strength and the neutralization depth was inversely proportional.

  • Oyster shells are difficult to grind, while oyster shell powders have coarse and coarse grains, whereas egg shell powder, the same high calcium material, has small and soft particles and has opposing properties. In order to study the change in flexural and compressive strength by designing different mixing ratios using 50% of oyster shell powder and egg shell powder as a filling material. As a result of the experiment, there is almost no difference in the result.

  • In this study, the experiment was conducted in the level of mortar as one of the basic studies on pre-cast concrete which acceleration curing is not done. This study has the purpose to develop the strength of mortar into 20MPa within 6 hours in the condition of room temperature using admixtures which can accelerate C3S hydration reaction. In this experiment, W/C was fixed into 20%, PCE which can stimulate C3S was used as an accelerating admixture. From the results of this experiment, maximum content of accelerating admixture was 1%. Also, as more than 20MPa was measured through 6-hour compressive strength, it can be known that strength can be developed without steam-curing.

  • In this research, it used cement power and reduction slag, which generates high hydration heat in hydration reation without heat cure below -5℃ degree. Purpose of final research is preventing freezing and thawing by making the compressive strength 5MPa in 3days below zero temperature due to own heat of concrete. and it is the result of physical characteristic and thermal property evaluation of reduction slag. Because reduction sag generates high hydration heat, compressive strength development is excellent. By generating highly Hydration heat by C12A7 and C3A in reduction slag, compressive strength is developed in low temperature. In case of displacing only reduction slag without SO3, it is indicated that quick-setting occurs by shortage of SO3. For preventing quick-setting, gypsum is used essentially. According to this research result, in case of using reduction slag and gypsum as a ternary system, Compressive strength developed 5MPa in 3days below zero temperature. It is identified to prevent early frost damage of concrete below zero temperature.

  • In order to reduce the high absorption ratio of spent coffee grounds, this study examined the compressive strength and absorption ratio of mortar replacing coated spent coffee grounds according to the type of water repellent. In order to examine this, as the water repellent used, a silane-based water repellent (fluorine-based water repellent) and an acrylic-based water repellent, which are film-type water repellents, and a silane/siloxane-based water repellent, which are penetration-type water repellents, were used. The spent coffee grounds were coated with each of three water repellents, and mortar was prepared by mixing cement and fine aggregate. As a result of the experiment, the compressive strength and absorption ratio of the mortar replaced with coated spent coffee grounds coated with the film-type water repellent were superior to the penetration-type water repellent. Therefore, in order to reduce the high absorption ratio of spent coffee grounds, a suitable water repellent is a film-type water repellent. Among them, it is judged that the acrylic type has excellent water repellency and is suitable.

  • In this study we intended to investigate properties of cement mortar with recycled PET fiber, PE fiber, and PP fiber such as slump flow, compressive strength, tensile strength, and flexural strength. As results of experiment, several properties of specimen with recycled PET fiber were little low comparing those of specimen with PE fiber and PP fiber. But if we see from point of economy and recycle of industrial wastes, it has enough reason to be used. Compressive strength of specimen with recycled PET fiber at 56 days was about 10% higher, but tensile strength and flexural strength were lower than that of no-fiber.

  • In producing high strength concrete, the most practical method is to use high range water reducing admixture(HRWR). Workabili쇼 of concrete using HRWR varies rapidly with elapsed time after mixing. Effects of fly ash and gypsum on slump loss and compressive strength of concrete were examined by experiment in this study. The slump loss of high strength concrete was reduced with increase of substitution ratio of fly ash. When 2~4% gypsum of cement weight was applied, the reduction of slump loss was not prominent and strength increase appeared at all test ages.

  • This study is basic experiment for estimating influence of strength by curing temperature of concrete's heat of hydration and estimate relationship of compressive strength development by initial curing temperature factor, and then asume temperature factor which influence compressive strength development and for showing basic document of quality control. According to the result of managerial test pieces by the curing temperature factor high-curing temperature shows high strength on 3 day compare with low curing-temperature, shows higher strength than the piece of high curing temperature.
