  • Ubiquitous Sensor Network (USN) environments, sensors and sensor nodes, and coming from heterogeneous sensor networks consist of one another, the characteristics of each component are also very diverse. Thus the sensor and the sensor nodes to interoperability between metadata for a single definition, management is very important. For this, the standard language for modeling sensor SensorML (Sensor Model Language) has. In this paper, sensor devices, sensor nodes and sensor networks for information technology in the application stage XMDR-DAI -based metadata to define the USN. The proposed XMDR-DAI USN based store and retrieve metadata for a method for effectively agent technology. Metadata of the proposed sensor is based SensorML USN environment by maintaining interoperability 50-200 USN middleware or a metadata management system for managing metadata in applications can be utilized directly.

  • As the applications and services based on the augmented reality are widely spread in various industry and public domain information dissemination areas, it is naturally necessary to provide the common information framework which can describe required detailed information for services. JPSearch which is released for unified access to image repositories can be utilized in this kind of infrastructure due to that the framework for augmented reality needs a constituent component which supports image repositories. In this paper, we propose a metadata schema which is designed for information architectural framework in the environment of augmented reality based on workflow. The proposed information schema can support the workflow of augmented reality related production system and service implementation.

  • Metadata is a crucial component of record management, playing a vital role in properly managing and understanding the record. In cases where automatic metadata assignment is not feasible, manual input by records professionals becomes necessary. This study aims to alleviate the challenges associated with manual entry by proposing a method that harnesses ChatGPT technology for extracting records management metadata elements. To employ ChatGPT technology, a Python program utilizing the LangChain library was developed. This program was designed to analyze PDF documents and extract metadata from records through questions, both with a locally installed instance of ChatGPT and the ChatGPT online service. Multiple PDF documents were subjected to this process to test the effectiveness of metadata extraction. The results revealed that while using LangChain with ChatGPT-3.5 turbo provided a secure environment, it exhibited some limitations in accurately retrieving metadata elements. Conversely, the ChatGPT-4 online service yielded relatively accurate results despite being unable to handle sensitive documents for security reasons. This exploration underscores the potential of utilizing ChatGPT technology to extract metadata in records management. With advancements in ChatGPT-related technologies, safer and more accurate results are expected to be achieved. Leveraging these advantages can significantly enhance the efficiency and productivity of tasks associated with managing records and metadata in archives.

  • Data dictionary is a collection of metadata about data defined, produced and consumed while performing business processes. Data dictionary is an essential element for business process standardization and automation. Data dictionary also has a fundamental role in ERP application management and customization. Finally, data dictionary helps B2B by gracefully integrating intra-enterprise business processes and inter-enterprise business processes. This paper gives some clues about the importance of data dictionary in ERP and B2B, and introduces data dictionary support of SEA+, a component-based scalable ERP package system.

  • The description of resources at collection-level is being recognised as an important component of information services that seek to provide integrated access to distributed resources. This research investigated the concept, necessities, and standards of collection level description which manages heterogeneous and distributed resources effectively. Also this research reviewed collection level description projects in other countries to show a new direction of subject access in digital libraries.

  • Video information is an important component of multimedia system such as Digital Library. World-Wide Web(WWW) and Video-On-Demand(VOD) service system. It can support various types of information because of including audio-visual, spatial-temporal and semantics information. In addition, it requires the ability of retrieving the specific scene of video instead of entire retrieval of video document. Therefore, so as to support a variety of retrieval, this paper models metadata using video document structure information that consists of hierarchical structure, and designs database schema that can manipulate video document.

  • The popularity of the web based education has come the need for variety learning methods and for business to exploit the web not only for interoperability but also standardization. This way of standardization has come to researched for environments, contents and practical uses in ISO. The IEEE has special]y established five technical classes for LTSA which provide advanced e-learning environments. Feedback functions would not be supported and specified in standardization for Query Answer on LTSA. In this paper, we describe the query and answer model which we have developed on layer three of LTSA. We develop the redefined model for transforming data flow oriented into object or component based model. We have developed the Query Answer Metadata (QAM) based on Learning Object Metadata (LOM). We design and showed thing a prototyping implementation the Query Answer Learning Tool (QALT). We have used the QALT to address the problem of efficiency of web based education. We also used it to develop the related tools with quality and productivity.

  • Linked Data is a powerful technology for storing and publishing the structures of data. It is helpful for web applications because of its usefulness through semantic query data. However, using Linked Data is not easy for ordinary users who lack knowledge about the structure of data or the query syntax of Linked Data. For that problem, we propose a translator component that is used for translating RESTful/JSON request messages into SPARQL commands based on ontology - a metadata that describes the structure of data. Clients do not need to worry about the structure of stored data or SPARQL, a kind of query language used for querying linked data that not many people know, when they insert a new instance or query for all instances of any specific class with those complex structure data. In addition, the translator component has the search function that can find a set of data from multiple classes based on finding the shortest paths between the target classes - the original set that user provide, and target classes- the users want to get. This translator component will be applied for any dynamic ontological structure as well as automatically generate a SPARQL command based on users' request message.

  • Recently, large-scale enterprise information systems are commonly based on the multi-tiered middleware or frameworks to support such requirements as functional reuse, heterogeneous system resources, and multiple platforms. However, these multi-tiered or distributed multi-platform architecture incurs the interoperability issue of the components and metadata among the middleware. This paper introduces the Simple Object Application Framework (SOAF) which supports heterogeneous resources and platform-independent component-based development, with the abstract programming style of the object-oriented frameworks and the XML-SOAP based component persistence mechanism.

  • 재사용이 가능한 컴포넌트들을 사용하는 컴포넌트 기반 소프트웨어 개발 기술은 현재 소프트웨어 개발의 핵심 기술로써, 많은 소프트웨어들이 이 기법을 이용해 개발되고 있다. 컴포넌트 기반 스프트웨어를 보다 효율적으로 시험하기 위한 많은 노력이 있었으나, 아직까지 자동으로 시험을 쉽게 수행해 주는 도구는 별로 없으며 이미 개발된 도구들도 그 효용성이 미약하다. 본 논문에서는, 이전에 제안했던 컴포넌트 기반 소프트웨어 자동화 시험 도구인 CTM(Component Testing Manager)의 확장 내용으로써 XMI(XML Metadata Interchange) 형식으로 표현된 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 모델로부터의 시험 데이터 생성 및 수행기법에 대해 제시한다. 본 기법은 기존의 UML모델을 이용한 다른 시험기법과는 달리 표준화된 XML를 사용함으로써 XML모델링 도구와 독립적이고 분산환경에서 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 장점을 제공하여 보다 쉽게 컴포넌트 기 반 소프트웨어 의 시험을 가능하게 해 준다
