  • Functional Modeling methodology, IDEF0 is widely used for modeling, analysis and description of enterprise system. The limitation of modeling components restricts applicability and give rise to confusion about model. In this paper, we propose new method to extend IDEF0. The first is adding modeling components which are semantic representations. In addition to ICOMs, we add the time and cost component which is required to execute the function. The second is tracing mechanism. When we need some information, we drive the functions related with the information by reverse tracing of the function which produces the information as a output and input. Through the tracing, we find out the bottleneck process or high cost process. Finally, we suggest the final decomposition level. We call the final decomposed function into unit function which has only one output data. We can combine and reconstruct some of functions because an unit function is similar to ‘lego block’. To reach the integrated system, the main problem to be solved is the integration of information produced by different functional subsystem. This can be resolved when the creation of data must be dependent on only one function. Through view integration of function output, we can guarantee the integrity of data.

Development, implementation and verification of a user configurable platform for real-time hybrid simulation

  • This paper presents a user programmable computational/control platform developed to conduct real-time hybrid simulation (RTHS). The architecture of this platform is based on the integration of a real-time controller and a field programmable gate array (FPGA).This not only enables the user to apply user-defined control laws to control the experimental substructures, but also provides ample computational resources to run the integration algorithm and analytical substructure state determination in real-time. In this platform the need for SCRAMNet as the communication device between real-time and servo-control workstations has been eliminated which was a critical component in several former RTHS platforms. The accuracy of the servo-hydraulic actuator displacement control, where the control tasks get executed on the FPGA was verified using single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) and 2 degrees-of-freedom (2DOF) experimental substructures. Finally, the functionality of the proposed system as a robust and reliable RTHS platform for performance evaluation of structural systems was validated by conducting real-time hybrid simulation of a three story nonlinear structure with SDOF and 2DOF experimental substructures. Also, tracking indicators were employed to assess the accuracy of the results.

경직형 양하지 뇌성마비아동의 시지각 능력과 일상생활동작과의 관련성 연구 (A Correlation between the Visual Perception Ability and Activities of Daily Living for Children with Spastic Diplegia)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the correlation between visual perception ability and activities of daily living(ADL) in the children with spastic diplegia who were treated at developmental disabilities children salutary institute. Method : The subject were consisted of 8 children with spastic diplegia(mean age, 10). The visual perception ability was measured by the Developmental Test of Visual Perception(DTVP) and by the Functional Independence Measure for Children(WeeFIM) to evaluate activities of daily living. Collected data analysis were completed by using correlation analysis. Results : Visual perception ability of children with spastic diplegia is the highest in Position in Space(PS) score, and is the lowest in Visual-Motor coordination(VM) score. Average visual perception performance of children with spastic diplegia is the highest in SR(Spatial relationship) score, and is the lowest in VM score. In activities of daily living, eating component were significantly correlated with Visual-Motor coordination. Conclusions : Therefore, accurate evaluation of visual perception ability and visual perception training for children with spastic diplegia will be important to improve patient's activities of daily living skill.

Networked Intelligent Motor-Control Systems Using LonWorks Fieldbus

  • The integration of intelligent devices, devices-level networks, and software into motor control systems can deliver improved diagnostics, fast warnings for increased system reliability, design flexibility, and simplified wiring. Remote access to motor-control information also affords an opportunity for reduced exposure to hazardous voltage and improved personnel safety during startup and trouble-shooting. This paper presents LonWorks fieldbus networked intelligent induction control system architecture. Experimental bed system with two inverter motor driving system for controlling 1.5kW induction motor is configured for LonWorks networked intelligent motor control. In recent years, MCCs have evolved to include component technologies, such as variable-speed drives, solid-state starters, and electronic overload relays. Integration was accomplished through hardwiring to a programmable logic controller (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS). Devicelevel communication networks brought new possibilities for advanced monitoring, control and diagnostics. This LonWorks network offered the opportunity for greatly simplified wiring, eliminating the bundles of control interwiring and corresponding complex interwiring diagrams. An intelligent MCC connected in device level control network proves users with significant new information for preventing or minimizing downtime. This information includes warnings of abnormal operation, identification of trip causes, automated logging of events, and electronic documentation. In order to show the application of the multi-motors control system, the prototype control system is implemented. This paper is the first step to drive multi-motors with serial communication which can satisfy the real time operation using LonWorks network.

  • 감차적분(減次積分)과 비적합변위형(非適合變位形)을 혼합사용함으로써 고도로 효율적인 새로운 평판요소가 개발되었다. 이 요소의 변위영역은 Ahmad-Irons 요소의 횡방향성분에만 비적합변위형(非適合變位形)을 추가하였고, 요소강성행열은 수정된 차수(次數)의 수치적분에 의하여 계산된다. 다른 요소들과 비교하여 NC 8-4.1과 NC 8-5.1 요소들의 월등함이 발견되었다. 이 요소들에 의한 해는 mesh가 세분됨에 따라 정확한 해에 급속히 수렴함을 알 수 있다. 또한 이 요소들은 두꺼운 펑판문제에서 부터 매우 얇은 평판문제까지 넓은 범위에 적용할 수 있음을 보여 준다.

도로 부대시설 수용을 위한 IFC 스키마 확장 개발 (Extension of the IFC Schema for Road Subsidiary Facility)

  • 본 연구는 도로분야의 표준 정보모델 구축을 목표로 하고 있으며 도로 부대시설을 대상으로 IFC 스키마를 확장 개발하였다. 국내 도로설계 관련 문헌 분석을 통해 도로 부대시설을 구성하는 요소를 도출하였으며, 이를 통해 IFC스키마의 엔티티, 타입, 프로퍼티를 정의하여 스키마를 확장 개발하였다. 또한 새로운 스키마를 수용하는 컨버터와 뷰어를 개발하여 부대시설 BIM 모델을 IFC모델로 변환하여 연구결과를 검증하였다. 개발된 스키마를 통해 변환된 표준 모델을 활용할 경우 도로분야 BIM 발주시 표준화 된 모델 기반의 납품 및 검증이 이루어질 수 있으며, 설계단계 뿐만 아니라 시공, 유지관리 단계까지 IFC를 활용하는 토목분야 개방형 BIM 체계를 구축할 수 있을 것이다.

CFD 프로그램 개발자를 위한 메타컴퓨팅 시스템 (The Metacomputing System for CFD Program Developer)

  • 메타컴퓨팅 시스템은 분산된 컴퓨팅 자원들과 가시화 장비들을 통합하여 사용자가 편리하고 신속하게 작업을 처리할 수 있게 해 주는 환경이다. 본 연구에서는 전산유체역학(CFD : Computational Fluid Dynamics) 프로그램 개발자들을 위한 메타컴퓨팅 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템에서 사용자는 프로그램을 컴퓨팅 자원에 분산시키고 분산환경에서 컴파일 할 수 있으며 프로그램구조에 적합한 컴퓨팅 자원에서 그 결과를 동영상을 통하여 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 다음과 같이 두 가지 연구를 수행하였다. 전산유체역학 프로그램의 구조를 이용한 자원선정에 대한 연구, 요소시스템 통합연구. 컴퓨팅 자원 선정을 위해 전산유체역학 프로그램의 구조적인 특징을 이용하였고 실시간 가시화를 위하여 기존의 가시화 도구를 수정하여 통합하였다.

인간 포미바이러스 인테그라제의 핵위치 신호 (Nuclear Localization Signal of Human Foamy Virus Integrase)

  • Human foamy virus (HFV) integrase mediates integration of viral c-DNA into cellular DNA. In this process, HFV prointegration complex (PIC) in which integrase is a key component moves to nuclei of the infected cells and leads to integration of viral DNA to the cellular genome, which is essential in viral life cycle. In general nuclear localization signals (NLS) have been suggested to be involved in localizing retroviral PIC to nuclei, but the mechanisms for nuclear localization of the HFV PIC remains unclear. To functionally identify the NLS of HFV integrase, various subdomains of the protein were expressed as GFP fusions and their subcellular locations were analyzed with confocal laser scanning microscopy. Wild type HFV integrase was karyophilic by targeting the fusion protein to nuclei of the COS-1 and 293T cells. Our results showed that strong NLS of HFV integrase was mapped to the C-terminal regions. In addition the karyophilic properties of N-terminal and central regions are not individually strong enough to direct localization of the fusion proteins to nuclei, but their cooperative activity for nuclear import was confirmed.

건설 통합 설계를 위한 라이브러리 구축 방법에 관한 연구 (Study on the Method of Building Library for Integrated Design in Construction)

  • The Subject of this research is building integrated library to supported to CAAD of the A.E.C field that is oriented to the environment of integrated design. In this research, we design and implement a new library model as a solution of design-data sharing and multi-displaying that is on the rise among many problems in construction integration. We name this integrated library ACO(Actual Component Object) and using the ACO, we can share data without loss in the fields such as construction, estimation, structure. Together with this, the different expressions along each field provide the solution of sharing both graphic data and non-graphic data. This ACO is a newly conceptualized Library that is able to supply a composite structure to an architect(designer) through the internet-based ACO System. To the ACO System that supplies those ACO service, we introduce the concept of DBMS in design and design administrator, and we investigate the solutions that enable an architect to use this ACO directly on the Web.

비디오 인덱싱을 위한 얼굴 검출 및 매칭 (Face Detection and Matching for Video Indexing)

  • This paper presents an approach to visual information based temporal indexing of video sequences. The objective of this work is the integration of an automatic face detection and a matching system for video indexing. The face detection is done using color information. The matching stage is based on the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) followed by the Minimax Probability Machine (MPM). Using PCA one feature vector is calculated for each face which is detected at the previous stage from the video sequence and MPM is applied to these feature vectors for matching with the training faces which are manually indexed after extracting from video sequences. The integration of the two stages gives good results. The rate of 86.3% correctly classified frames shows the efficiency of our system.
